You were woken up by a little baby's scream. Grumbling and shuffling, looking for your husband in the dark you accidentally hit him in the face.

“Billy.... "

You mumbled tiredly, a yawn following shortly after. The man sighed heavily before getting up and groaning a quiet:

"For what did we need this child... As if one wasn't enough... "

A few months ago you gave birth to a beautiful and healthy little boy Lenny, ever since he was the apple of your and Billy's eyes. But with that also came a lot of trouble and inconveniences that you and William had to face, after all parenting isn't an easy thing. One of the worst things was getting up in the middle of the night, just as that day, and calming down the baby as it screamed into your ears.

"C'mere lil guy"

Billy picked up Lenny after walking into his room and swayed him left'n'right to get him back to sleep. In contrast to your struggle of that action, it came naturally to Billy and just after a few minutes the boy was back snoring in his cradle.

"So little yet so loud... "

Butcher smiled, looking down at his son and covering him with a green blanket with dinosaours. The man never thought a day would come when he had a family, more so a child of his own. But there he was, with a beautiful wife and healthy sons.

He left the room and was on his way back to you when he heard silent sobs coming out of Ryan's room, a soft light beaming from the chink beneath the door.

"Hey... What's goin' on? Why ya cryin? "

Billy asked quietly, kneeleing down next to Ryan. The boy was sitting by his desk, crying above his homework.

"I-It's nothing... "

"C'mon I see something' wrong"

The boy looked at Butcher, his eyes red, tears still streaming down his pink cheeks.

"I can't do this stupid homework... "

"I see... Why didn't ya ask me or Y/N? "

Ryan looked away with a snif.

"Because you're too busy with Lenny... Lenny this, Lenny that... You forgot about me... You don't care about me anymore! And I didn't want to ask you for help because I knew you wouldn't have time... "

Butcher sighed looking down, before hugging the boy tightly.

"Ryan... It's not true. Me and your sister will always love and care 'bout you. If ya need help just ask. We may not be able to at that exact moment, but we'll help sooner or later. Just because we have Lenny now, doesn't mean we forgot about you. We care for ya just as much as we care 'bout Lenny"

"Y-You do?... "

Ryan mumbled pulling away from Butcher.

"Of course we do! You're like my own son buddy, just like Lenny. And 'm gonna take care of ya not because I promised it to your mother and sister, but... "

It was hard for Billy to say, as he wasn't a man of many feelings, but he felt like the boy needed to hear it.

"But because I love ya man. Just like Y/N does, kapishi? "

Ryan smiled a little, wiping away the tears.

"Kapishi"

"Great, now let's get to the job! "

The boy chuckled as Billy ruffled his hair then the two started to do the homework.

In the morning you woke up alone in bed. You thought Billy had gone to work already, not wanting to wake you up, but you were wrong.

Walking by Ryan's room on your way to the bathroom, you walked in to check on the boy, what you found made your heart melt. Billy was knocked out on the bed, his legs dangling off the furniture, while Ryan was sleeping a top of his chest. You had to take a photo. Later in the day you kept teasing them about it. As much as Ryan didn't care, Billy got flustered every time, and you loved it.

Childhood TV shows? (cartoons, disney/nick sitcoms, etc.)

THAT WILL LIKE GIANT POST BECAUSE I WATCHED THOUSENDS OF CARTOONS, SITCOMS AND MUCH MORE XDDD

Long story short, I didn't have any friends in my childhood and usually I was bullied physically and mentally at elementary school so yeee- That is why I spend 50% of the time in my home looking non stop at the TV screen and watching whatever i found (rest of the time i was playing with my littlest pet shops and monster high dolls making cults, apocalypse, and cities. I LOVED making city for my pet shops and rule them all >:D)

So I will tell about the most important ones for me, because this post would never end if I start talking about EVERYTHING (and won't talk about movies, because it's about what children channels was showing.)

In my kindergarten era my favorite cartoons was mainly on one channel BBC for kids. It was my gold, everything i needed after long day in kindergarten where children were beating shit out of me. And lately I rewatched Numberjacks, Charlie and Lola (funfact my 20y/o dog is named after her older bro XDD), Big coock and Little cook, Teletubbies, The Koala Brothers, etc. (i watched everything what was showned at that time on BBC) This shithead from Numberjack still makes me scared.

He is a demon from my past.

But my parents because they doesn't gave a shit what i was watching my top 1 kindergarden cartoon was original Ben 10 and Lady Gaga music videos (And I'm not even fucking kidding, my family has videos that i could sit for an hours and just watch poker face over and over again.)

And i also rewatched it lately and found out that most of the talking roles are shared between Ratchet and Optimus polish VAs (Jarosław Boberek and Dariusz Odija)

Later we got more channels on our old TV so I started watching channels like Nick, Disney channel and Disney XD (we had cartoon network, etc. before so yeah). And for that time Hannah Montana was perfect for me i truly love it. I loved this show. The same with ICarly (fuck Dan Schneider, fuck paramount and nick that was hiding him and other p3does for years, they are acting like disney but worse) BUT there were also sitcoms for boys, and if you know me I LOVE MEDIA FOR TEEN BOYS. After Hannah Montana stopped showing up, I really felt in love in I’m in the Band, Zeke and Luther, Kickin’ It, ESPACIALLY Crash & Bernstein, because it was mupped show but cooler for me at the time XD

And after it my golden era begin, because we got even more channels and I could watch for first time show that will change my life forever, thanks to this show I'm with you guys rn and start to draw:

My first ever episode of lego ninjago was the episode where 1ep of 3 season, and it got me so hard XDD and at the time I cried me when I was 10 I cried like little baby when Zane died and was this show-don't-tell ending with Pixal. It was everything I needed... and it made me nerd also XDDD At the time i start to watching Teletoon+ like crazy!!! I watched MLP there and LPS too! And I'm so pissed of on myself, because TFP was shown there to but I didin't want to watched, because since i was youngling I hated Bayverse and was scared of their faces, so fuck you Micheal Bay, I almost missed the best TF show ever because of you :))

But also worth to talk about is The Amazing world of Gumball, oh boy I love it the same as Lego Ninjago and Nexo Knights!!! It was spiderman universum for me, when i was young, I watched since it premiered to the very end and even as a young teen I appreciated the animation and creativity that Gumball was showing us. Since today I think that animation and ideas are just pure genius and I can not even tell one thing bad about it like about Total Drama (1-3 season lives rent free in my head still, that is why I'm danganronpa fan) XDD

And now we are getting to second most necessary canon even in my life. The March 16th of 2015 first episode of polish Transformers robots in disguise was showed and it was fun for me! Fun enough that I recommended it to my friend that I created this au with, and she told me that it was cool too! And then years has passed and in 2022 she rewatched because she was bored and discovered Transformers Prime, she was so amazed of it that she begged me for MOUNTH to watch it! And guess how she convinced me to watch it??? XD she showed me that one ep that Starscream was running with KO, because zombie Silas was hunting them XDD (I'm spoiler proof, so I wasn't angry that she showed me ep from 3 season). AAAAnd that is how it started and that is why I'm with you rn and drawing transformers stuff for more than 2 years

So Rid15 literally get me into this awesome fandom!!!

And then I started using internet to the state, that I stopped watching TV at all so yeah... (i mean i was using internet since 2010 when I was 6, and using school computer to play dress up games, but yk what i mean) AND ofc there was much much much more cartoons and shows i watched BUT like I told you there is too much of it XDD

As a funfact my sister forced me to watch naruto and sailor moon in very young age, so I never watched fully and to the age of 13, because of her I HATED anime XDDD

Even if all Valyrians and Targaryens were casted mixed/black, would that actually be a good decision considering plot and them being obesessed with keeping their bloodline as "pure" as possible, going as far as marrying off with no issue kids, who have both same mother and father?

It's a fantasy, madeup universum, but most of its worldbuilding is based in reality and history, and historically this type of obsession would characterize some extreme cases of classism and racism. It's also very much not a standard in this universum, but something characteristic for Targ/Val, the rest of the Seven Kingdoms frowns upon incest, Cercei and Jaime weren't trying to hide their relationship for no reason and golden hair of their kids were deemed suspicious by many, even though their skin was white like Roberts.

I understand wanting to create more diversive cast, but it can't be done without considering the context. Also diverse cast argument falls really flat, when black characters get their screentime cut or get removed from the plot completely. It's like creators wanted diversity points and after then went on with their internalized racism.

It's not like, they wanted the diversity points but they don't really care.

All of Westeros practices incest, but only the Targaryen practice sibling incest. Tywin was married to his first cousin, the younger sister of Mace Tyrell is also married to his first cousin. In the North, Serena and Sansa Stark married their uncles. Ned's parents were first cousins once removed.

The Targaryen also marry outside of the family a lot, and the whole "keeping the blood pure" is actually something the fans since to care about more than the characters. Only Aemond in the show made remarks about blood.

I also said that the Strongs could also be black because Lyonel had three wives we know nothing about. They could also make others close to the coast black and give the excuse that they married someone from the Summer Islands.

The problem with making the Targaryens black is that the Black faction would be mostly mixed while the Green faction would be mostly white and that would make the TB Vs TG fight even more violent for various reasons.

2. Richard the Kid & the King

Die Welt ist eine schwarze Scheibe und sie dreht sich um Richard III. Und über der Welt ein Planetensystem aus Lampen, das in warmen Farben dimmt und damit einen Kontrast bildet, zu dem, was auf der Bühne passiert. Auf der Bühne wütet und rast Richard, er hasst und mordet, er stiftet an und sticht zu. Und zwischendurch Der Krieg streicht sich die Faltenfratze glatt spielt er mit dem Publikum, flirtet fast mit ihm, zwinkert, bringt es zum Lachen, nur, um es im nächsten Moment zu einem schmerzverzerrten Stöhnen zu bringen. Richard liebt Richard. Richard, eine Hassliebe.

„Richard the Kid & the King“ heißt das, was sie hier zeigen und es teilt die vier Stunden in ein quasi-Davor und ein Danach. Und damit vielleicht auch in die Frage „Was macht das eigentlich mit einem Menschen?“ und ein erschrecktes „Oh Gott, oh Gott, oh Gott!“

Richard, kein Teil an mir, der nicht missraten wäre. Richard, die Liebe wurde mir im Mutterleib schon vorenthalten. Richard, soll’s mir mein Himmel sein vom Thron zu träumen.

Weil im Waggon nur noch ein Platz frei ist, sitze ich auf dem Weg nach Hamburg neben einer Person, die einen Pullover strickt und weil wir darüber ins Gespräch kommen, erzählt sie von ihrer Arbeit als Sozialarbeiterin und wie erstaunlich erschreckend es ist, zu sehen, was die kleinen Momente mit Menschen machen. Wie sich viele kleine Momente zusammentun und ein großer Schrecken werden, wie Menschen noch Jahre danach mit diesem großen Schrecken im Nacken durch das Leben gehen, den Blick aus panikgroßen Augen langsam über die Schulter richten und sehen: Er ist noch da. Der große Schrecken. Er bleibt. Wie unser Aufwachsen uns prägt und wie man erst viel später anfängt, darüber nachzudenken, wie gut man es hatte und wie schlecht die Anderen. Und wie absurd, denke ich, wie absurd, dass dieses Gespräch mich begleitet, auf der Suche nach einer Antwort auf die Frage „Was macht das eigentlich mit einem Menschen?“

Richard, der missraten und liebesvorenthalten beschließt, hier den Dreckskerl aufzuführen, der über diese Scheibe wütet wie eine Urgewalt und einen zwischendurch so liebreizend anstrahlt, dass man sich fragt, ob man ihm überhaupt böse sein kann, der im nächsten Moment blutüberströmt beschließt, dass das noch nicht der letzte Mord gewesen sein kann.

„Das ist so absurd, ich liebe es!“, ruft jemand und unter dem abgedimmten Lampen-Universum wühlt Richard sich durch Innereien. Das ist so faszinierend wie es erschreckend ist und während man sich permanent die Hände vor die Augen schlagen und tiefer in den Sitz sinken will, plötzlich die Frage „Was macht das eigentlich mit mir?“

Richard, der seiner Familie so fremd ist, dessen Fremdsein sich schon dadurch zeigt, dass er nur auf Denglisch mit seinen Verwandten kommunizieren kann, während diese Englisch mit ihm sprechen. Dessen Fremdsein so auch dazu führt, dass das Publikum nicht mit sondern über ihn lacht. Richard, der das schulterzuckend hinnimmt. Richard, ich habe einen S-Fehler, manchmal hört man das auch.

Am Ende vielleicht die Erkenntnis, dass das Böse so lange mit einem liebreizenden Blick vor einem steht und man es lächelnd schulterzuckend zur Kenntnis nimmt bis es zu spät ist, bis man so fasziniert ist, dass man sich nur noch ab und zu die Hände vor die Augen hält und „Das ist so absurd, ich liebe es!“ ruft.

Ich habe "Richard the Kid & the King" am 21.01.2024 gesehen. Es war der zweite Theaterbesuch dieses Jahr und wahnsinnigverstörendwahnsinniggut. Lina Beckmann und Kristof Van Boven spielen, dass es einem den Atem raubt. Während dem Schlussapplaus gehen zwei Männer an mir vorbei ins Foyer, einer sagt "Nicht mal beim Fußball wird so gejubelt."

Wie so viele Dinge im Leben fängt alles ganz harmlos an - ein Schreibtisch muss zusammengebaut werden, idealerweise so, dass er eine gesamte Grundschulkarriere läng hält, ohne zusammenzubrechen.

Nichts, was zwei fähige Kriminalhauptkommissare nicht hinbekommen könnten. Dumm nur, dass man sich beim Möbelaufbau dann doch unerwartet nahe kommt. Dann kann so ein Möbelaufbau auf einmal völlig unerwartete Konsequenzen haben.

Der nächste Teil des Familie ist-Universums. Leo und Adam machen endlich Nägel mit Köpfen.

3. Jealousy issues? I feel that Fi would be the jealous one but not to the toxic degree. Tiggi spent almost whole her life traveling and making friends and contacts. So after the Clone Wars when they went on their honeymoon that lasted over one year almost everywhere they visited she knew someone. Many times they were males. And they were her good friends or at least good buddies. And they had their special handshake. And shared memories. And Fi felt a bit jealous of that.

6. Double Date? Thoughts? Who? I can imagine Fi and Tiggi going on a double date with Etain and Darman. They all met on Quiilura. Tiggi and Etain are best friends and consider each other's boyfriends as friends. Fi and Darman are brothers. They would definitely enjoy going on a double date together and would have lots of fun.

8. Have an AU thought? Um... kinda? But it includes only Tiggi. I mean, it's all the same until Fi's death but then I have few ideas what Tiggi would do after he's gone. So I don't have that kind of AU where their story goes differently or happens in different universum like for example Modern AU or where they are students in college or something. It's not my thing I think :/

17. Morning rituals? Um... untangling themselves? Their children had learnead to sleep with them on a pile in one bed so getting out in the morning without waking up others is challenging. It all started with their clone kids getting scared of thunderstorm. It was supposed to be like this for just couple of nights - they slept like that for years. The rest of their children eventually also joined. Only Aku didn't like it because he was always ending on the bottom of the pile. Kandosii was always on a top. Even when it's just the two of them sleeping, they always wrap their arms and legs around each other Fi started that habit because he was afraid that Tiggi will leave him again.

Dziś na rozpoczęcie września, postanowiłam dać nowa postać OC z tematyki LEGO Monkie Kid, powiem wam iż w moim kraju, udało mi się obejrzeć tylko 3 sezony, ponieważ 4 i 5 seria nie wiedzieć czemu, jest niedostępna, no i musiałam zadowolić się angielska wersją, ale przynajmniej wiem mniej więcej jaka jest dalsza fabuła serialu, mam jednak nadzieję, że może jeszcze kiedyś uda mi się obejrzeć jeden z moich ulubionych seriali, ale wracając... Moja postać OC ma na imię Sakura i jest dość nietypową małpką, umie ona zmieniać swoje emocje w czystą energię i posługiwać się nimi jak bronią, jej bazowym kolorem jest jasno różowy kolor, nazywany przez nią jako ''Kwiat japońskiej wiśni'', Sakura jest dość skryta i nieśmiała, przez ciągły strach który ją dusi, ciężko nawiązuje jakiekolwiek znajomości, ale gdy poznaje MK'a, Sun Wukong'a i pozostałą paczkę,zaczyna ona otwierać się na innych i zaczyna bardziej ufać innym ludziom i innym istotom.

Today at the beginning of September, I decided to give a new OC character from the LEGO Monkie Kid theme, I'll tell you that in my country, I only managed to watch 3 seasons, because the 4th and 5th series are unavailable for some reason, and I had to settle for the English version, but at least I know more or less what the further plot of the series is, I hope that maybe someday I will be able to watch one of my favorite series, but back... My OC character's name is Sakura and she is a rather unusual monkey, she can change her emotions into pure energy and use them like a weapon, her base color is light pink, which she calls "Japanese Cherry Blossom", Sakura is quite secretive and shy, because of the constant fear that suffocates her, it is difficult for her to make any friends, but when she meets MK, Sun Wukong and the rest of the gang, she begins to open up to others and begins to trust other people and other beings more.

Hohe Ansprüche an sich selbst sind eine gute Sache. Sie können einen dazu bringen, über sich selbst hinauszuwachsen. Aber wenn es nicht so gut läuft, können zu hohe Ansprüche auch eher ein Hindernis als eine Hilfe sein.

Leo hatte immer hohe Ansprüche an sich selbst, in allen Lebensbereichen. Und auch Leo kann den eigenen Ansprüchen nicht immer gerecht werden. Vielleicht hilft es, wenn jemand da ist, der ihn da auffängt.

Holy shit, I did another wikipedia article rabbithole run

So, I was just reading up on a computer game I played as a kid after some people discussed what Swedish accent the guy had - Mulle Meck (otherwise known as Gary Gadget internationally)  - about a bumbling man that collects junk and builds things out of it. Turns out, the games are based on children’s books!

I played that game, many hours of fun for child Swedebeast. I recalled the published “Levande Böcker” (Living Books) did many other games, mostly childrer games or educational games for children, which included another favourite Svea Rike which was a Swedish history computer game that I played on the school computer back in 1998~1999.

But back to the Mulle Meck thing. I got curious about this author, and it turns out that he was also a big technology guy, even starting some big motor magazines in the 60′s, but... He also wrote science fiction books in the 70′s and 80′s... And I freaking remember reading them in the 90′s as a little kid, probably the first science fiction I ever read.

I remembered things about them. The name “Andromeda”, a little radio-gadget that condensed conversations into quick bleeps that the machines would translate into spoken language to prevent outsiders from listening in to it, and during one encounter on a space mining station, two people had a very speedy exchange before one of their suits imploded... And the other guy was holding a knife. A dystopia of pollution and addiction to technology reset when a terrorist group shut down the planetary energy grid to save the environment, with a teenage thrust into it and managed to deliver the final message before everything was shut down. Space ships moving light years off course, finding other planets with humans already on them, and centuries later several human civilizations advanced and joined together, and launched one massive FTL expedition to find Earth that they all originated from. Despite the mission begin sabotaged, the new protags arrive at the Solar system, the sun having grown larger as suns do, the Earth was unlivable... But ruins of civilization was found on Pluto, which might have been habitable at some point, and one standing library is found and explored.

All of these things are featured in the “Universums Öde” (or Fate of the Universe) series, which include the titles;

Uppbrott från Jorden, Planetjakten, På okänd planet, Datorernas död, and Barn av Andromeda.

Or Eruption from Earth, The Planet Hunt, On planet unknown, the death of computers, and Children of Andromeda.

The Death of Computers, from 1983, was also the fist ever Swedish cyberpunk novel published. I lived my life thinking these books were translated works from English, but no. These were genuine Swedish science fiction novels, memories half-forgotten all now combined into one singular experience I had when I was a child, reading them at the tiny school library when I was 12.

Something that i started thinking about while painting for no reason

If the owl house characters were in Descandants universum Hunter would be from the Isle but Belos would be grom Auradon and i have no idea how to explain like maybe i think that Hunter is from Isle because of a few similarities I saw between him and VKs and how they Both act especially in the first movie because Rotten Four convices themselves and others that they are bad and rotten and defiently not good and just like their parents and Hunter keeps acting like that bretty kid who's better than everyone who is defiently NOT intrested in Wild Magic and he doesnt care about anything and anyone connected to it but in reality VKs are good and want to be real themselves when they dont have to worry about their parents or survivng on the Isle and looking though and in reality Hunter is insecure in constant need of validation from the one person he sees as family and he yearns for knowledge about wild magic because he wants to help his uncle and he cares about his palismen which he should have give to Belos Long time ago but didnt for some reason and all of them have/had problems with choosing between what feels right and what is expected of them even maybe feeling like the choice is only illusion and tberes only one right think to do

But i still cant understand why i think of Belos as someone from Aurdon because he really is a villain he should be Isle Adult in my head he sure acts like them but he feels like hes from Auradon but more like someone like Audrey's Grandmother who was berating Audrey through The whole movie for "not being good enough" and "loosing to Isle kid" but in different way as well? I cant explain it
