> Rick abt Fish 👀
Sat down on the chair within the garage, directly adjacent to the work bench, Rick busied his hands with a piece of the crystalized battery that he and his counterpart were working on. Studying it's shape and what they had done to modify it so far. It still needed some work, but it was safe enough to hold without getting zapped or worse.
Besides, it's not like there was much he could do on his own. He didn't want to change anything without his boyfriend's (@countlessrealities) approval. So, he would just sit there and wait.
Well, at least, he thought he would. Until he heard the distant voices out in the living room. It was faint enough to not gain any context, but familiar enough to know who they belonged to.
By now, he's become used to it. The distant back and forth bantering, then the hushed shuffling, almost always followed by silence. Sometimes it lasted a long while and other times only for a few seconds. It wasn't any of his business on what happened during then. It's not like he was willing to check what got his boyfriend distracted.
Yet, he couldn't help to let his mind wander during those times. Even if there was no indication of such things. It always registered in his mind that the two made out in some capacity. Perhaps some light touching, promises for later or another day.
And whenever those thoughts popped up, he couldn't help to focus on what his counterpart would like. So flirtatious, that mischievous glint within those eyes. As well as Fish's reactions, pressed up against his other self's body, teasing and hinting for more.
Shit, just the thought of her stirred something within him. Something that shifted his focus onto the way that she must've looked. Equally mischievous with a certain demanding tone that anyone could find irresistible.
Such a softness to those lips, speaking every word as if they were a weapon and she aimed them incredibly well. Enough to get a rise out of him (or his counterpart).
A hand went to his face to snap him out of his thoughts. Damnit, don't think of her like that. She's with Rick. Though, despite it, he couldn't help the bubble of feelings that rose within his chest when he thought of her. An odd mix of emotions that he couldn't pinpoint.
Well, whatever those two were doing, he needed to stop picturing it and get back to work. He swung the chair around with an abruptness that would force his mind to redirect to the mess of mechanical parts and wires on the workbench.
Something told him that no amount of alcohol would get rid of the image of Fish that his mind painted. However, he would try regardless.

About
This sideblog is an archive for my series of comics inspired by my playthrough of Baldur's gate 3. Majority of characters are from the game, some are my own.
The series may include headcanons and personal takes on some of the characters. Not every part of the game will be included, often times the ingame dialogue or story will be directly quoted. Backgrounds are 99% screenshots taken from the videogame.
This comic is done for fun and may not be of highest quality, I do not profit from making this and have no intention to do so.
Do not expect fast updates! I am disabled.
''oh noes there's tadpoles'' was a place holder title. I used this tag for the comic as well as wips.

Okay so I've got two old documents with Fae information typed up, so basically I'm going to read through them and copy/paste the bits that I still mostly like. A lot of it is super old tho, and will need re-working regardless of its current state.
Main things I want to work out now include
Families and/or court names and appearances
Magical traits and abilities (often linked to courts)
Basic creation mythology, maybe a couple of ideas
Come up with 8 Fae treasures, linked to each court
This is as far as I've gotten with this post. I'll have to do the rest later, maybe work on the above items a bit more first, since I feel they'll impact the society sections.
Society and culture as a whole
Specific culture and society of Reliston, and possibly Iskterra
(Rename Reliston???)
?????
HEY HO LETS GO
Court Ideas V1: Based on biomes and environments. I like the idea of environmentally based courts, it would give a basis of origin for each 'type' of Fae which is a good starting point. Each Biome had specific traits linked to each, most of which I'd want to redo now, but still. A starting point.
Cave - Black Hair/Eyes - Dark Skin - Unknown Inspo
A lot of these biomes work for me, but I want to switch up the corresponding hair colours, and either drop the eye colours or make it looser and more varied. Perhaps a couple of different hair/eye colours per biome? Along with that, I really need to research their inspired fashion and cultural styles, when I was a kid I just straight up copied, but now I'd rather make them less earth-culuture-based.
Court Ideas V2: Seemingly more Seelie/Unseelie themed. I really like the idea of this, but only two courts is a bit limiting, although I LOVE Sun/Moon motifs, which I think I'll try and carry over somewhat. Also try to keep some of the Wild Court ideas, as solitaries have been mentioned a couple of times in the story.
The High Court is less over-all-spieces, and more isolated to each area/kingdom, as the High Court consists of the Rulers, their family, and advisors. The sun court was inherently 'good', while the moon was inherently 'bad' which is a little unfair.
Take Away From This: I'm wondering if I can take some of the biomes and the sun/moon courts and restructure them, along with reassigning the different appearances. I know I'd like the sun court to still have gold hair, and the moon court to have silver. However I know for a fact the gold/silver eyes are now royal-family-only. Its all the other colour hair and eyes I need to figure out, as well as names for the courts rather than just "Forest Court"...
Ancestors and Bloodline Abilities:
I imagine there are more ancestors than courts, but for now I'll focus on just a few.
Élaen - 'The First Light' she's widely accepted to be the first Fae created. Her ability is known as 'True Sight', or the ability to see through illusions and lies.
Áylmer - 'The Dream Walker' The first recorded case of dream walking came from her, and allows her to interact in the dreams of those she's made a connection with.
Ízenlay - 'The Illusionist' A fae who was able to cast highly detailed illusions, able to fool even the keenest eye (besides Élaen's).
Sláine - 'The Dawns Touch' She had the firest recorded ability to heal outside of the Elements, incredibly in tune with her own spirit, she was able to reach out and physically manipulate others bodies into healing quicker.
Nóirin - TBA
Síle - TBA
Cáit - TBA
Other abilities as listed
Summoner - The ability to conjure beasts and beings and control them.
Changeling - The ability to shift the ability to change their own appearance to a degree - not full shifting
Natures Voice - The ability to speak with plants and animals
Blood Lust - The ability to ignore all but critical injuries and channel rage/strength in battle
Now all of these abilities are typically passed down within the bloodlines of the ancestors, but can occur outside the recorded lines, often a distant descendant/cousins many-times-removed, but not always.
Take Away From This: So what I need to do now is figure out what ability originated from which court/area. I know the dream walker ability came from the grasslands, while Illusions and True Sight may have come from the sun/moon courts? I need to work on it...
Creation Myths and Variations: Considering how much I enjoy fantasy, I certainly don't like creating myths for it.
Anyway, I know for certain that the Fae were created by the Goddess of Light and Life, which provided them with their extensive life spans. I also know that Élaen 'The First Light' was one of the earliest Fae born, and had a sibling, who was possibly the first vampire. I also know that there's a strong connection to the Sun and Moons.
So here's a rough idea: The Fae were created through the union of the Light Goddess and Dark God. She created them, and he allowed them to never die. Élaen and her sister TBN then became part of a myth to do with the twin moons and the sun. I think there was a dispute over them by someone to represent the sun. Élaen's sister died as a result of the dispute, and Élaen begged her mother (goddess of life) to bring TBN back from the dead, offering up her own immortality to do so. Life was unable to do this, but her husband Death could, but warned that TBN would come back changed. Élaen agrees, and TBN is brought back, but requires blood to sustain herself. As a result, the Fae live for impossibly long, but can be killed surprisingly easily, while Vampires also live for impossibly long, but are resistant to most forms of death.
So while it's not a full creation myth, its a damn good start, and explains the Fae's preference for the moons over the sun. (and yes there are two moons on alcazar)
I think the variation would be that the sisters were fighting over the sun, and one killed the other. Cause I know Áine believes that version, and puts herself in the place of the betrayed Élaen, and her sister in the place of TBN.
That's all I've got for now so ON TO THE NEXT
8 Fae Treasures:
So this is just a fun thing I wanted to do, come up with some mythical items for Alcazar to have rattling around. I'm starting with the fae since that's who I'm working on atm, but I believe the other species will have their own versions too!
Ewer of Élaen (Moon Court??) - Drinking the water from this pitcher allows either some ability to do with truth, or possibly viewing the future, or maybe even eternal youth?
Compass of ?? (Sea Court) - Allows some form of specialised navigation, eg always points 'home' or at your 'true love'.
Helm of the Hunter (Forest Court?) - An antlered helmet, allows the wearer to move unhindered and unheard through the forests. Currently owned by Herné??

I am running out of brain power so the rest will have to wait
Wrapped up finishing Umbra’s refsheet(s) (FOR NOW) and realized I made his head smaller.
Man- my consistency sometimes? is non existent. The Seedling’s refsheet has the same issue. Something was bothering me about the design and its literally the headsize on the fullbody lol. I ain’t going back fixing that, ITS TOO MUCH EFFORT FOR HOW MUCH TIME THE SHEET TOOK GEEZ.
Anyway there are several TBA designs I have planned to expand the Eldritch Forms.
I’m making a new concept into the lore which eldritch cultists refer to as ‘’Mirror entities’’ which are alternative forms to Specific Eldritch forms.
The Seedling’s Mirror entity is Bloodbringer! They share the similar design with some visual differences and powerset. The alt form of The Seedling is the aquatic one, so not a mirror entity.
A completely new form is considered an ‘’Eldritch Child’’ on itself, all though the same goes for Mirror Entities.
Just a sidenote: They all are essentially the same person, this classification has more to do with how it is perceived by cultists who view these forms as separate gods.
Mirror Entities I plan to make:
‘’Hellraiser Wren’’
‘’Negative Wren’’
Alternative Forms I plan to make:
‘’Mothman Snowmoth’’
‘’Frenzied Bloodbringer’’
Completely new forms currently in concept doodle/notebook stage:
Death Marrow / Bonemarrow
Seraph, Paragon of Insanity
How does Umbra work?
Envious Umbra / Sombra the Still are both considered Mirror Entities despite their smaller differences, while Miserable Umbra is the primary eldritch child. (It’s also the most common sighted form.) Their power doesn’t change, just their demeanor / mood slightly alters.
The Seedling (Main form) > Aquatic Seedling (alt form)
The Bloodbringer (Mirror Entity) > Frenzied Bloodbringer (alt form)
I do need to remake Bloodbringer’s refsheet before I start working on Frenzied bloodbringer. Basicially he starts boiling and becomes.. Eruptive. Volcanic. Explosive. Big angry sharp boii.
Other Concepts that have been in my head that I won’t go in detail on:
-Something that gives me nuclear or decay theme feelings.
-’’proxy’’
If we’re counting all the Eldritch children that are finished + in the works we have.. (not counting sal’varis, entropy, or Rielzero)
6. Umbra, Wren, Mothman, Seedling, Marrow, Seraph.
If we add the mirror entities, it becomes 9. If we also count Umbra v1 and Sombra, its 11.
That’s a lot of eldritch beings worshipped seperatedly by cultists.
ANYWAY I’M DONE RAMBLING BYEEE-
Lore as always, is subject to change until I actually publish it in some official form. Older refsheets may contain lore that is outdated or retconned.
* v0. FBI training / FBI agent - when misora was in the FBI.
* v1. LABB murder cases - takes place during the novel. she is contacted by L to essentially hunt B without knowing that she is hunting L’s intended predecessor.
* v2. death note, pt. 1 - takes place during her brief time pre-death, but post-LABB - she is typically engaged to penber.
verses // * death note [ divergent ]
* v1. misora manages to evade kira, but is delayed getting to L. she and yagami ultimately begin to work together on the task force, although misora is dispatched more in the field than "in the office.” yagami has sabotaged her attempts to convince L that he is correct in assuming yagami. she is utilized when needed, provides information when necessary, and uses her influence from her prior status in the FBI to assist when she can. post-penber’s death, she has been re-instated as an agent. she has affiliations with (current) agent gevanni pre-spk. while she never worked directly with him, she becomes in contact with the new agent via telephone, text and email. this is how gevanni eventually gets picked for the spk, along with his prior accomplishments and skills.
* v2. misora avoids L all-together, having been in america when penber was killed. she becomes an agent in the FBI again, eventually becoming part of the SPK alongside agent stephen “gevanni” loud. she is known as agent misora officially, though she goes by agent shoko maki during the kira case. she gets along well with her peers, though occasionally finds near hard to work with. she bonds with gevanni over this. she had information for L that she was unable to pass over to him before his death.
* v3. post-death note. regarding either of the above verses, this is post the original death note.
* v4. the c-kira case more tba.
* v5. the a-kira case. more tba.
** overall, her reintroduction into canon isn’t groundbreaking, but she is there. ** misora views penber positively, and i really have no issues with him as we see so little of their relationship to make such huge judgments, so i refer to him positively. their situation was pretty extraneous.
verses // * alternate universes
* v1. modern
* v2. university - studying criminology to eventually become an FBI agent.

CONTACT INFORMATION;
The picture is a candid shot of her. Slightly blurry picture. Obviously taken while Rick was drunk. It captures part of her face, shoulder and some of her cleavage.
The ringtone that plays when she calls him is a snippet of Boss Bitch - Doja Cat, specifically the first verse of the song. Whenever he receives a text message from her, it plays a sound byte of bubbles.

Follows the canon story up until her father sends her to the king, instead that night she goes to either Rhaenyra or Daemon ( thread depending) and tells them what her father has planned, refusing to seduce and marry the grieving king she choose her relationship with Rhaenyra. What follows is thread dependent.
V3: Daughter of Saera Targaryen
The rumors of her father having a child with Saera were proven true the day Vermithor carried her off when she is returning from a trip to Hightower. Upon returning to Kings Landing she is now a dragonrider and her father is forced to come clean about his past sins and passing her off as his and his wife's child all this time. In this verse she never marries the King.
V4: Modern
Born into wealth, Alicent was the daughter of a politician and business owner in her father. She spent every break and summer working at the company, even knowing she would never be allowed to take over, that honor would go to her brother. . . Even so she worked hard and when Rhaenyra took over her own father's company, she joined her as her VP.
V5: Alt Modern
After her brother passed tragically and her father was ousted by the board of trustees, Alicent took over her father's company, making she and Rhaenyra enemies in the business world. Both doing whatever it takes to come out on top.
‘ i KNOW it sounds too good to be true , ‘ memories scented with HUMUS & FLORA ; he’s got a lungful of archaic reveries held so dearly between his ribs . smile spreading like vines over once - treasured statues , mountains of grey mist behind each breath ––– a riot of antique and quiet thrill . ‘ but TRUST ME . it’s really out there . ‘ * / / @rosalithe . ♥
He’d love to kill Loki for suggesting that he had to dress up to find this information -- what did having annoyingly long ears on have to do with information about a blood curse? -- but he couldn’t. Not effectively. He was a healer. Don’t get him started on his ridiculous looking weapon. Was Valaskjálf at least somewhere safe?
Someone somewhere is laughing however, because of course he runs into a summoner. Shit.
