Been a bit since I did a guinea pig post, I don't take photos all that often lately.

Little update in regards to the art poll, I have thumbnailed a rough draft of the frames I want to draw for the Hawke Gay Panic Mini Comic in my sketchbook but the whole anon thing annoyed me so much I've been mostly working on other things in the meantime.

I'll probably finish the next baldur's gate thing before I get to it.

To add context, this is probably someone scrolling fandom tags and noticing my art poll.

If you'd looked at my profile or art at any point, you'll come to the conclusion that I'm talking about my GAY CHARACTER panicking over the male companions, because he's gay.

Because his NAME IS VALENTINE AND HE'S A ROMANTIC DISASTER. (It's part of his backstory)

The poll:

They probably voted on it and noticed that the most popular option is that one, and while their intentions might be ''genuine concern'' it is still.. Please don't explain my own sexuality to me, okay? I am very much aware of queer history, and with nuance; If I say ''gay panic'' I mean a gay character looking at an attractive person and going ''oh shit im gay'' the fact that I have to explain this is nuts.

This is tumblr. Please don't send people stuff like this, its really weird.

Hey-- you don't have to answer this, and I'm not trying to make you feel bad, but please look up the definition of "gay panic". It's not a lighthearted or cute term to be used in fanfic. It's a legal defense in favor of killing gay people.

Ugh, okay. Don't conflate "gay panic defense" with a gay person panicking over their sexuality, please.

This is the same energy as people saying queer is offensive, dude. It's the internet.

Obviously the gay dude on tumblr isn't using the word "gay panic" over something like that. Did you miss that, or?
