OmniHead (2003) by Takeshi Maeda, Vstone, Osaka. OmniHead is a bipedal humanoid competition robot, developed for the ROBO-ONE 4 contest. Specialist servos for robots had not been yet been developed, so it's based on the SANWA ERG-VB designed for radio-controlled cars. The CPU is a 16MHz Hitachi H8.
"Around August 2002 I went to see the 2nd ROBO-ONE tournament and started to think it would be much more fun to participate than to watch. The current idea is as follows. It will use radio-controlled servos; Initially, I'll use the servos as is, but eventually I would like to control the motor current myself from the internal potentiometer value. Start with 6 degrees of freedom x 2 on one leg, add 2 degrees of freedom at the waist, and add 2 degrees of freedom on each arm with 4 degrees of freedom. I want to make the knee and ankle front and rear axes double joints to create a 'soft-body robot.' … It's challenging to participate in Robo-One because I'm so busy with work and a crying creature comes to my house at night, but I ended up being able to spend about 1.5 days out of my three-day weekend working on the robot. … I was able to attach an omnidirectional camera and called it "omni-head." – Takeshi Maeda, Robotan Production Diary.
In August 2003 at ROBO-ONE 4, OmniHead came 2nd in the preliminary round and 2nd place in the final, runner-up to A-Do.

The VB-MAPP, or Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program, is a widely used tool in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to assess the communication and language development of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related conditions. One crucial aspect of using the VB-MAPP effectively is understanding the age range it is designed for.
The VB-MAPP is specifically tailored to assess individuals in the early stages of their development, primarily focusing on children between the ages of 18 months to 6 years. This age range is carefully selected to capture critical milestones in communication and language development during early childhood.
The assessment is divided into several components, each targeting different aspects of communication, including echoic skills, manding (requesting), tacting (labeling), intraverbal behavior (responding to questions and conversation), and listener responding (following instructions). These components are aligned with typical developmental stages, and the VB-MAPP helps professionals and caregivers identify where a child falls within these stages.
Assessing children within the specified age range is essential because it allows for early intervention. Early intervention has been shown to be highly effective in improving communication skills and reducing the long-term impact of communication deficits in individuals with autism. By identifying a child's strengths and weaknesses in communication at an early age, professionals can design targeted ABA interventions and educational programs to address specific needs.
It's important to note that while the VB-MAPP is most commonly used with younger children, it can also be adapted for older individuals with communication challenges. Professionals may modify and extend the assessment to suit the developmental level and needs of older individuals, ensuring that it remains a versatile tool for assessing communication skills across a wide range of ages.
In conclusion, understanding the VB-MAPP's age range is crucial for professionals, educators, and caregivers working with children with autism. It enables early identification of communication deficits and the implementation of tailored interventions that can significantly impact a child's developmental trajectory.

Source: https://dictionary.apa.org/introjection
“in psychoanalytic theory, the process of absorbing the qualities of an external object into the psyche in the form of an internal object or mental representation (i.e., an introject), which then has an influence on behavior. This process is posited to be a normal part of development, as when introjection of parental values and attitudes forms the superego, but it may also be used as a defense mechanism in situations that arouse anxiety. Compare identification; incorporation. —introject vb. —introjective adj.”

Quote specifically is talking about when introjects appear in a system as a response to RAMCOA.
“Alters may be created which are internalized representations (introjects) of fictional characters. Some people with DID refer to alters based on fictional characters as fictives although this term was not used in literature on DID until 2021, before then fictives were described in many case studies and books, but had not been given a collective term.[9],[32],[35],[43] People with Maladaptive Daydreaming (MD) often have groups of inner characters based on fictional sources, but these are different to alters in DID because they cannot physically take control or interact with other, outside people, and are not split-off parts of the person's own personality, although there are other differences as well.”

From Christensen, E. M. (2022). The online community: DID and plurality. European Journal of Trauma & Dissociation, 6(2), 100257.
“The appearance of fictives in the community is significant. In part it simply reflects a change in cultural references. It has been four generations since the diagnosis [historically referring to DID or MPD] was formally established, and young people now provides a very different presentation than those who grew up in the 1940s or 1950’s or 1960’s, but this makes them no less legitimate. However, this author proposes it also reflects the relationship ruptures due to the shift in parenting practices over the last two decades - while primary caregivers may be abusive in some cases, as has always been true, there is a higher population with relational trauma due to neglect and some of these children create imaginary inner worlds to deal with the lack of presence of attachment figures (Sándor et al., 2021). In this way, fictives are, in part, at times, substitute introjects, and then the related rich inner worlds are further developed through maladaptive daydreaming (Somer, 2002, 2015, 2016a, 2016b).”

How to Create Custom Functions with the SSRS Split Function

Introduction
Delivering intelligent reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) requires the ability to change and show data efficiently. The SSRS Split Function is a potent tool for accomplishing this. You can write your own custom functions to divide texts based on a delimiter even if SSRS does not come with a built-in split function as some computer languages do. You can use the SSRS Split Function to create and use custom functions by following the steps outlined in this article.
Comprehending the Split Function of SSRS
You can split a string into many sections using the SSRS Split Function by providing a delimiter. When working with data that has concatenated values, like lists of names, categories, or other delimited data, this is quite helpful. By dividing you can communicate these beliefs in a way that is more orderly and understandable.
A Comprehensive Guide for Developing Custom Functions
Step 1: access your SSRS report.
Open the SSRS report you already have open or create a new one using Report Builder or SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT).
Step 2: Open the Properties of the Report
Use the right-click menu to select the report body or any blank place inside the report design area.
From the context menu, choose Report Properties.
Step 3: Go to the Section with the Code
Pick the Code tab in the Report Properties box. You can create your own custom code functions here.
Write the Custom Split Function in Step Four.
For your custom split function, enter the following VB.NET code in the Code window:
vb Copy public function code DivideString(input_ByVal as String, delimiter_ByVal as String) as String()
If input is String.IsNullOrEmpty, then return New String() {}
Close If: Return input.Split(StringSplitOptions.None, New String() {delimiter})
Final Operation
The input string and the delimiter are the two parameters required by this function. If the supplied string is null or empty, it checks for it and returns an empty array. If not, it divides the string according to the designated delimiter.
Step 5: Utilizing Your Report's Custom Split Function
You can utilize the custom function in your report expressions now that you've developed it.
For instance, you can use the split method as follows if you have a field called FullNames with values like "John Doe, Jane Smith, Mark Johnson":
Include a fresh textbox in your report where you like to see the list's first name displayed.
Put this in the textbox expression:
vb
Copy the code (Code).SplitString(",")(0), Fields!FullNames.Value
The first name is obtained from the split string using this expression.
Step 6: Presenting Several Values
You can use the split function in conjunction with a List control to display all names in a list format. Here's how to do it:
In your report, drag a List control.
Choose your dataset as the List control's data source.
Include a textbox in the List control.
Set the textbox's expression to:
vb
Copy the code (Code).Fields!FullNames.Value, ",")(RowNumber(Nothing) - 1) SplitString
Based on the row number, each name in the list will be displayed as a result.
Top Techniques
Performance Considerations: Use caution while utilizing functions that manipulate strings particularly when working with big datasets. Optimizing the data via SQL preprocessing can improve performance.
Testing Make sure your custom function can handle a variety of instances, such empty strings or uncommon delimiters, by thoroughly testing it with a range of input conditions.
Documentation: If you intend to share the report with other developers or report users, be sure to include documentation about your custom functions in the report for future reference.
Summary
Using the SSRS Split Function to create custom functions is a great method to improve your reporting capabilities. Data can be presented more dynamically and clearly by dividing strings based on a delimiter. The quality and usability of your SSRS reports will be much enhanced by learning this technique, regardless of whether you are working with names, categories, or other concatenated data. Through exploration and practice, you may make the most of the SSRS Split Function to produce reports that are both informative and easy to use.

The VB-MAPP Assessment: A Resource for Unlocking the Potential of Children with Autism
Introduction
In the realm of autism intervention, the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB MAPP) stands as a remarkable tool that has revolutionized the way professionals assess and support individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As the demand for effective interventions continues to grow, the VB MAPP assessment emerges as a pivotal instrument, offering a systematic approach to understanding and enhancing the communication and language skills of individuals with ASD. In this article, we delve into the world of VB-MAPP assessment, shedding light on its features and highlighting the manifold benefits it offers to both professionals and individuals with autism.
Understanding VB MAPP Assessment
The VB-MAPP assessment, developed by Dr. Mark L. Sundberg, is a comprehensive tool designed to assess the language, communication, and social skills of individuals with autism. Unlike traditional assessment methods, the VB MAPP places a strong emphasis on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB). It breaks down language and communication into smaller, measurable units, making it easier to identify specific strengths and areas that need improvement.
Benefits of VB MAPP Assessment
1. Individualized Intervention Planning: One of the most significant advantages of VB-MAPP assessment is its ability to tailor interventions to each individual's unique needs. By identifying specific language deficits and communication challenges, professionals can develop targeted interventions that focus on the areas that require improvement. This individualized approach enhances the effectiveness of interventions, leading to more rapid progress.
2. Measurable Goals: VB-MAPP assessment provides clear and measurable goals, allowing professionals to track progress over time. The assessment's structured format allows for the identification of baseline skills and the establishment of benchmarks that can be monitored and adjusted as needed. This not only provides a sense of direction but also enables professionals to celebrate the achievements of individuals with ASD.
3. Functional Communication: A key principle of VB-MAPP assessment is its focus on functional communication. The assessment aims to help individuals acquire communication skills that are practical and applicable to real-life situations. This approach ensures that individuals with ASD can effectively express their needs, wants, and thoughts, leading to increased independence and improved quality of life.
4. Holistic Skill Assessment: VB-MAPP assessment goes beyond language and communication skills. It assesses various areas such as social skills, play skills, and academic skills. This comprehensive evaluation provides a well-rounded understanding of an individual's abilities and challenges, facilitating a more holistic intervention approach.
5. Data-Driven Decision Making: Data is at the heart of the VB-MAPP assessment process. Professionals collect data during assessment and intervention sessions, allowing for informed decision-making. Data-driven insights enable professionals to make adjustments to interventions, ensuring that strategies remain effective and appropriate for the individual's progress.
6. Collaboration and Communication: VB-MAPP assessment encourages collaboration among professionals, caregivers, and educators. By sharing assessment results and progress reports, all stakeholders can work together to provide consistent support and interventions. This collaborative approach creates a unified effort toward the individual's development.
7. Empowerment for Caregivers: Caregivers play a pivotal role in the growth of individuals with ASD. VB-MAPP assessment equips caregivers with a better understanding of their loved one's strengths and challenges. Armed with this knowledge, caregivers can implement strategies and techniques that promote communication and interaction, even outside of formal therapy sessions.
8. Trackable Progress: The VB-MAPP assessment's structured framework allows for easy tracking of progress over time. Professionals can visually demonstrate an individual's growth through graphical representations and data summaries, providing a clear picture of accomplishments and areas that still need attention.
Conclusion
In the journey to empower individuals with autism spectrum disorder, the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) assessment stands as an invaluable tool. Its focus on individualized intervention planning, measurable goals, functional communication, and holistic skill assessment sets it apart as a comprehensive approach to supporting individuals with ASD. As professionals, caregivers, and educators continue to embrace the benefits of VB-MAPP assessment, they contribute to the growth, development, and improved quality of life for individuals with autism. With its data-driven insights and collaborative approach, VB-MAPP assessment is a beacon of hope for progress and communication mastery in the autism community.

This one started off with that arpeggio riff, although on electric guitar. I was planning to take more in a shoegaze-y mathrock/emo direction, but. As I was developing past the first section it just wasn't hitting right, so I threw it on acoustic and decided to take some inspiration from one of my favorite albums, め by Sayuri. The first track off that album does this really cool thing where the chorus of the song is at a slower BPM than the verse, and so. I kinda just yoinked that idea (although I don't think what I did gives it the same amount of power as Sayuri, but. yk. just a slightly different vibe)
I took it a step further though, and changed the time signatures on top of that. The verse and bridge are in 6/8 with the quarter note at 108 bpm, and the chorus is in 4/4 with the quarter note at 182 bpm. I really like the transition into the chorus, but I think the transition out is a little.... eh. All in all I do quite like it though. I should mess around with time signature changes more I think. (Another song I pulled a bit of inspiration from was Kano's acoustic cover of Daybreak Frontline, particularly on how I wrote the bridge)
I think the guitar recording itself actually turned out pretty good. I'm a little rusty with my acoustic guitar skills, and I'm still learning how to record it good but. I think I got it sounding pretty great, considering my room is completely untreated.
And as always, this was done using Solaria and Synthesizer V. I just. It's the perfect vb okay. For this one I actually did a lot of adjusting parameters on the last line of each chorus. I think I over did a bit, but I still need more practice adjusting all that stuff.
In today's episode of "Town would love to stop having a crisis about her identity but alas, girls," uh. Here's the song I wrote in like six hours today.
Folding paper stars You had me from the start, Wrapped around my heart and tracing all my scars.
But I won't find you here Like sunshine in the rain, You're the smoke I chase.
Finding quiet space Where planets state their place, Calling out to falling stars, I wish. I reach across the sky.
But I won't find you there Like distant shining stars, I can't hear your heart.
LIke a sunbeam, You shine through me. Starry heat, Flush my cheeks.
But I won't find you there Like sunshine in the rain, My will own doubts will fade.

happy birthday Kazehiki(utau) !!!!! [nov 6]

(vocaloid art)
Kazehiki is a japanese synth originally created by Kurukuru Suuzi, and released in 2015. kazehiki is also voiced and illustrated by Kurukuru Suuzi. kazehiki was given a limited release on 23 aug 2023 for the new vocaloid beta engine (VOCALOID β-STUDIO). his vocaloid vb was developed by yamaha in collaboration with KUZUTOKAZE. kazehiki is 12yo and 140cm tall. he is dead and wishes to pass on to heaven, but cannot as he needs a pair of angel wings to do that, which he does not have. he always has a cold and is permanently sleepy.
i know Kurukuru Suuzi does not allow reposts of their art, as it says so on the website featuring all their utaus, but i figured the vocaloid art would be fine ? since its being used for a commercial product ? im not too sure, the machine translation on their website is a little difficult to understand

How Can a VB-MAPP App Simplify Data Collection and Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) professionals and educators working with individuals on the autism spectrum understand the critical importance of data collection and analysis. One of the most widely used assessment tools in ABA therapy is the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), which helps assess and track language and social skills development in individuals with autism. While the VB-MAPP is highly effective, manual data collection and analysis can be time-consuming and prone to errors. Fortunately, technology has stepped in to streamline this process with the development of VB-MAPP apps. In this comprehensive guide, we explore how a VB-MAPP app can simplify data collection and analysis, making the lives of ABA professionals and educators easier and more effective.
1. Real-time Data Entry:
VB-MAPP apps allow professionals to input data in real-time. Gone are the days of carrying around paper assessments and jotting down observations manually. With the convenience of a mobile app, therapists and educators can instantly record data during sessions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Effortless Organization:
One of the standout features of VB-MAPP apps is their ability to organize data seamlessly. Data points are categorized, labeled, and stored electronically, eliminating the need for bulky binders filled with assessment sheets. This organized approach not only saves physical space but also simplifies data retrieval and review.
3. Instant Progress Tracking:
VB-MAPP apps provide immediate access to progress tracking. Professionals can view data trends, identify areas of improvement or concern, and adjust intervention strategies in real-time. This agility is crucial in tailoring ABA therapy to meet the unique needs of each individual.
4. Automated Analysis:
One of the most significant advantages of VB-MAPP apps is their ability to automate data analysis. These apps employ algorithms that process the collected data, generating graphs, charts, and reports. This automated analysis reduces the risk of human error and allows professionals to focus on interpreting the data rather than crunching numbers.
5. Customizable Reporting:
Every ABA therapy program is unique, and VB-MAPP apps recognize this diversity. Users can customize reports to match specific goals, objectives, and benchmarks. This level of personalization ensures that data analysis aligns with the individual's progress and targets areas requiring further attention.
6. Secure Data Storage:
VB-MAPP apps prioritize data security and confidentiality. Most apps offer secure cloud storage options, safeguarding sensitive information while allowing authorized team members to access the data when needed. This feature enhances collaboration among therapists, educators, and caregivers.
7. Integration Capabilities:
Many VB-MAPP apps offer integration with other software and platforms commonly used in ABA therapy and education. This interoperability streamlines the data collection and analysis process by allowing professionals to work within a familiar digital ecosystem.
8. User-friendly Interface:
VB-MAPP apps are designed with user-friendliness in mind. The interfaces are intuitive, making them accessible to professionals with varying levels of technological expertise. This accessibility ensures that even those less tech-savvy can benefit from these apps.
9. Cost and Time Efficiency:
By automating data collection and analysis, VB-MAPP apps save professionals considerable time and effort. This efficiency translates into cost savings for organizations and allows professionals to allocate more time to direct therapy and interaction with individuals with autism.
10. Continuous Support and Updates:
Developers of VB-MAPP apps are committed to improving their products. This means that users can expect continuous support and updates to enhance functionality, address issues, and adapt to changing needs in the field of ABA therapy and autism education.
In conclusion, VB-MAPP apps have revolutionized the way ABA professionals and educators collect and analyze data. These apps offer real-time data entry, effortless organization, automated analysis, and customizable reporting, all while ensuring data security and user-friendliness. By simplifying data collection and analysis, VB-MAPP apps empower professionals to provide more effective, personalized, and efficient support to individuals on the autism spectrum. As technology continues to advance, the role of VB-MAPP apps in ABA therapy and autism education is set to grow, improving the lives of both professionals and those they serve.

An Shiraishi WLE "what-ifs" I consider possible & interesting from least to most for Me Personally
1. What if An didn't meet Kohane. It's not so much about it being Actively Bad as it's just really boring. It's obvious that Bad Dogs wouldn't be able to surpass RW alone and would also likely not break up without Kohane in the picture. An would just keep looking for her partner. No development in this one. Just kinda nothingburger of a plot. While the "oh look how far we've come" reflection might be nice it's also... Yeah whatever. Also focuses on Kohane too much for the An centric chapter.
2. What if An joined Bad Dogs instead of meeting Kohane. Potentially more interesting than point 1 however also kinda predictable and mainlined. Kinda mean to Kohane also. It's good fanfic material if you want Angst and Drama because that team would just Not Work Out very likely but as a canon what-if... Why?
3. What if Akito teamed up with An before meeting Touya and Kohane. Both kinda interesting because I genuinely believe these two would influence each other in Interesting Ways but also would ultimately loop back to normal VBS to be good and if it doesn't then see point 1 and 2. It's not really impactful enough to be Actually Good.
4. What if Nagi didn't die (either never got ill in the first place or recovered). See prev reblog. It's not Bad also it's just kinda exactly what everyone expects to see and like. Ehh. Like we've all thought about this what if scenario let's be honest. It's overused in fanon as is.
5. What if An never got lost in the building site and was reassured by Nagi. This is a snowball scenario that I actually think is kinda interesting depending on which direction it takes. An that is not as attached (if at all) to Vivid Street and wants to pursue singing career elsewhere would actually be Extremely Interesting and unexpected turn to take with this concept because pretty much everyone expects it to be something abt Nagi. Do people at Sega have the gall for it? I doubt it but I hope I'm wrong.
6. What if Nagi told An she is dying. See prev reblog. Could be So Much Fun and also I would argue it's the most painful possibility of them all before it would force current An to face the fact that It was for Her Own Good much more aggressively than it is now. And it's not like she doesn't realise that already it would be just That More Apparent.
The what-ifs are potentially interesting but I'll be honest I don't. Think there's that much to explore with Nagi here because like... It actually. Doesn't change that much on a surface level
