So for years I have always pondered on the ‘Atmos, world of a thousand mountain top kingdoms’. I’ve always wanted to create a map of Atmos—and I may in the future—with all the terra continents on. But for now, more for the fandom’s enjoyment and use, I’ve collected a number of terra names that could be potentially used for fanfiction stories, character creations and origins, and potentially used for naming these 1000 mountain top kingdoms. Most of these words are Latin origin and have beautiful sky/weather/element meanings. For example; A personal terra I use in my OCs background is Terra Sol, Sol is Latin for Sun - This is a name for a dusty, hot, exotic, desert based terra.

Terra Caelum - Caelum is Latin for sky, heaven; air, climate, weather; (figurative) height of success, glory.

Terra Astrum - Asturm is Latin for star, heavenly body, constellation; a great height; heaven, immortality, glory.

Terra Sol - Sol is Latin for sun; sunlight, sun's heat; (poetry) day; (myth) Sun god.

Terra Aeris - Aeris is Latin for air; weather; mist.

Terra Aura - Aura is Latin for breath of air, breeze, wind; air, upper world; vapor, odor, sound, gleam.

Terra Ventus - Ventus is Latin for Wind, breeze.

Terra Nubes - Nubes is Latin for cloud (figurative) gloom; (figurative) veil.

Terra Imber - Imber is Latin for rain, heavy shower; water; (figurative) stream, shower.

Terra Aestus - Aestus is Latin for heat, tide, wave, storm.

Terra Nox - Nox is Latin for Night.

Terra Umbra - Umbra is Latin for Shade, Shadow.

Terra Polus - Polus is Latin for (m.) pole of the earth, sky.

Terra Cinis - Cinis is Latin for ash, ashes.

Terra Mare - Mare is Latin for sea.

Terra Aecor - Aecor is Latin for ocean, plain, sea.

Terra Ferrum - Ferrum is Latin for Iron, Sword.

Terra Silva - Silva is Latin for Forest, Woodland.

Terra Tempestas - Tenpestas is Latin for tempest, storm, weather, season, time, period.

Terra Veris - Veris is Latin for spring, summertime.

Terra Arvum - Arvum is Latin for (n.) arable land, a ploughed field, a sown field.

Terra Saltus - Saltus is Latin for (m.) forest, woodland with glades; a narrow pass, ravine.

Terra Miles - Miles is Latin for soldier, knight, soldiery, combatant, warrior, infantryman.

Terra Avis - Avis is Latin for bird, bird of omen, omen, sign.

Terra Crystallum - Crystallum is Latin for crystal, crystal drinking cup.

Terra Ignis - Ignis is Latin for Fire, light, heat, flame, conflagration, beacon.

Terra Fulmen - Fulmen is Latin for Thunderbolt, bolt, Lightning, stroke of lightening, flash, sudden disaster.

Terra Lapis - Lapis is Latin for checkpoint, Stone, milestone, dool, pole, waymark.

Terra Sidus - Sidus is Latin for star, rainy weather, constellation, season, Land, region.

Terra Lumen - Lumen is Latin for light, glimmer, bright, glim, shine, star.

Terra Somnus - Somnus is Latin for sleep, slumbers, drowsiness, drowse, night.

Terra Arctus - Arctus is Latin for night, the great bear constellation, the little bear constellation.

Terra Collis - Collis is Latin for hill, heights, mount, height, mountain, knoll.

Terra Nimbus - Nimbus is Latin for cloud, storm cloud, storm of rain, cloud of smoke, rain-cloud, loud of dust.

Terra Aes - Aes is Latin for bronze, Ore, copper, metal, things made of copper.

Terra Ros - Ros is Latin for dew, moisture, clamminess, damp, dampness, water.

Terra Nix - Nix is Latin for snow, accumulated snows.

Terra Crustallos - Crustallos is Latin for ice, rock crystal, crystal-ware.

"Hmm?" Yua glanced at James out of the corner of her eye, hazel eyes meeting green before she flushed and returned her attention back to the movie 'S-surely it was just a coincidence...' She thought to herself as she tried to calm her rapid heart beat. She could still feel James's gaze upon her so shyly she spoke up "Y-you keep staring at me instead of watching the movie, may I ask if something is wrong?" the dove finally turned to face the knight to see her flushed cheeks matched his.

Though her bashful gaze was met with one of soft warmth. Without even thinking a phrase left James's lips "I couldn't focus on the princess on the screen because there was a princess right in front of me..." Both their faces went red as the only noise around them was the movie in the background, muffled to both of them by their own pounding hearts. Wordlessly, Yua leaned forward, hiding her face against James's shoulder. As he was about to speak Yua finally broke the silence "N-no fair..."

Veil x Melanie

Melanie stirred a bit in her sleep, shifting about the bed. It was still night time, it would be hours before the sun even attempted to rise. With her eyes still closed she felt around the bed before "Oh-" the little noise left her lips as her fingertips brushed against cooler skin. She wasn't as cold blooded as she should be, skin warmed by the blanket and her proximity to Melanie. Melanie moved her hand, feeling the faint scales on Veil's hip before finally the thunder scars down her side. At that touch, the snake awoke. Her amber eye glowed in the darkness, as she awake with a slight glare with softened as quickly as it could as she recognized Melanie. "Are you alright?" If there could have been kindness in her voice there would have been, but the soft brush against her cheek showed the tenderness Veil held for Melanie.

"I just couldn't sleep.. There's so much happening, my head is spinning..." Melanie looked down. Veil moved closer to her "I..." She started, desperate to say how she felt but her curse forbade her from doing so 'love you...' She finished to herself. Instead she pulled Melanie close, wrapping her arms around the smaller girl's hips "You're not alone. I'm here" Veil kissed her forehead as Melanie closed her eyes with a blush as she drifted back to sleep, listening to the snake's slow heartbeat.

Comfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

Veil Aecor

Veil is very awkward with comfort, though she'll flounder around a bit she'll think back in her childhood and do what her mother did to help her: aka soft singing. She would ask for permission to touch them and if she gets it she would put her hand on their forehead since she's naturally cold blooded so her body is cool. Since cold can help with anxiety. If they don't want to be touched she'll stay near them, but probably get some cold water for them to drink to help.

Yuuto Sakuraba

Yuuto would be the one to ask immediately if he can touch them. If he's allowed he will pull them close to his chest and have them listen to his heartbeat. He'd rub their back and try to shush them as he helps them through it. If he's not allowed to touch them then he'd bring stuff for them, hoodies, blankets, stuffed animals, etc

Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

Veil Aecor

She does. It's not that she doesn't trust them, but she knows it's heavy. Kinda of hard to bring up "oh my father killed a god and was punished to solitary cconfinement for eternity. The god that punished him saw me act out and then cursed me to never smile or say I l-o-v-e anything again. Oh and my mother turned herself to sea foam after it all" so she keeps that to herself. She's not used to having someone care for her so she keeps it to herself.

Yuuto Sakuraba

He doesn't do it intentionally. Since he does come to twst with amnesia. So he doesn't know his past. He would tell his s/o what he knows about himself, and as he gets memories he'll tell them in one of their late night talks. He's surprisingly open about himself for seeming like someone who would keep to himself.

Jealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

Veil Aecor

She says she's not jealous but does get jealous fairly easily. She's definitely one her s/o would have to talk to to calm her jealousy since she'd convince herself that they prefer the other person. She's much more glare-y than usual and her s/o will see her flick her snake tongue quickly

Yuuto Sakuraba

He actually doesn't get jealous much? He trusts his s/o so he knows they won't cheat on him. He would be a bit more touchy if he sees someone eyeing his s/o but that just means he'll wrap his arm around them or put his coat/necklace around them so they have something of him.

Instantly why did my mind just go to that their dynamic is:

(Technically Veil is slightly shorter but details)

Definitely started talking in the two times he wondered into NRC. She's not one for kind gestures herself but she's also the type to silently protect people. So she definitely glared from the shadows at people trying to "pick on him"

Veil would genuinely be shocked that he would want to spend time with her, since she's "big and scary". So he'd slowly but surly warm her up.

I can see in the beginning there being some miscommunication since Veil cannot say the words "like/love" without something bad happening/something breaking. Nor can she show emotion so she'd have to show some other way to convey her feelings

Watch Veil give him some "treasures" that her father sends her from his own collection.

Cue Veil learning how to hug someone for the first time and just awkwardly standing and opening her arms

Watch Cary just keep talking and Veil nods along, slowly figuring out what to say since she hasn't really talked to people. She would definitely ask him questions about his childhood and what it was like.

Watch in the beginning Veil curly answers his questions but now will somewhat ramble

Catherine Shire

Amusement park, or anything that would be something stereotypical of a "childhood" she never had that. She loves cute and exciting things so she'd just light up at an amusement park. She'd even just light up at an ice cream parlor.

Lovette Sieglinde

She'll say that she'd love some lavish restaurant or big lavish date but in actuality she'd prefer a stay at home date. Watch some cheesy romance movies and do some self care.

Kiara Sarabi

For being someone raised in the savanna, she prefers water. So a night beach date would be perfect. Someplace quiet where she can just take in all the little noises and finally get to relax (not have to worry about Leona)

Nasira Salim

Something where she can crete something, like a twst equivalent of "color me mine". She likes to collect things, because she wasn't allowed to have a lot of things (because a servant has to be ready to drop everything to serve)

Galatea Hexis

She loves to people watch, so anything with people. Or any place she can learn a lot, so like an aquarium or a museum. Android girl just wants to further her understanding of the world.

Emery Jaeger

Twst equivalent of a "build-a-bear" or couples baking classes. If her s/o wants to see her other side they can take her to an archery range where she'd be much more sarcastic and loud/"flirty"

Veil Aecor

A picnic or star gazing. When it's dark and no one is around where someone can just take in nature. While she's from the ocean she tends to avoid it out of memories.
