so I'm new to the fmab fandom and i'm just so happy i found your blog because i thought the fandom was dead but noPE IT IS STILL ALIVE AND KICKING I LOVE IT

I know you've been talking a lot about "gifted" and being good at school, and I wanted to say thank you because I'm not really one of those people who's good at school, but I still look up to you, and it's more than just motivation, it's a kindred spirit of someone who also has this love of learning and experiencing. I read through your mission statement and your high school/college journeys and they've inspired me as well. While our circumstances are, frankly, extremely different, (1/2)

I've also struggled with money for college. Fortunately, my Mom and I have been able to cover most of the expenses with scholarships, and the college I'm going to has a loan plan that basically says if in x amount of years I can't pay back the loans, they do it for me. To be honest, the college I'm going to is a really small place, and while it's well known in the state it's in, part of me felt like I "settled". I know I have potential, but I do think it's likely I have mental issues that (2/3)

it's hard for me to study sometimes, and I think it's possible I have ADD and depression. But, hearing your story inspires me. I want to do what you did, to "hit the ground running" when I go to college. It is my plan to go to a therapist there, and I've been working with myself to just do a little bit more each day, to give just a little more fight. I know I've kinda rambled here, but I wanted to say it. You've inspired me, and made me want to fight a little harder. So thank you. (3/3)

THIS IS SO AMAZING OH MY GOSH I don’t know how to respond! I’m just really glad that, for one, you are not one of the people who think I shouldn’t talk about grades because it makes them feel bad for not having the same grades. I am more than my grades, and I’m glad that you recognize that and see me as a motivated student who wants to learn and who’s experiencing all the ups and downs of life, because that’s so much more important than comparing grades or anything like that. 

I’m sorry to hear that you struggle with financial hardships as well. Obviously I know the struggle. I’m SO SO SO proud of you for deciding to find a therapist at college, and that I could have inspired you to fight harder. That’s seriously all I could ever ask for. Thank YOU <3

39) What’s the first book/film that really counted to you? Harry Potter. My brother literally pushed it into my arms, made me sit on my bed, and said, “Read.” Before then, I hadn’t personally read a single page.

40) What’s your element (air, water, etc.)? Earth. I was about to wrestle with this, until I remembered I literally have the AtlA Earth symbol tattooed on the side of my ankle.

41) If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? TRAPPIST-1F. Strap me to a rocket, I’m ready.

42) If you had any job in the world, what would it be? Xenopology. It’s like Anthropology, but with aliens

43) If you were granted three wishes, what would they be? 1) I wish you to understand and follow what I believe to be the meaning behind my wishes. 2) I wish you would never harm me or my family. 3) I wish I never see you again. Djinn are scary man. They’re vengeful spirits who look upon their masters with disdain, and in cruel twists of irony, use the wishes they’re forced to do against their masters. Hell, I’ve been working on those answers for YEARS, and I bet that Djinn would still find a loophole.

how did you get into the ml fandom/what was the tipping point for you?

Someone on Tumblr did something, that is all I got for you. Probably it was the fanart’s fault. I’m almost sure the fanart was to blame. Ngl I literally did not even watch the show before I threw myself into the fandom. >>
