On the topic of the roulette spinner I used for my facial expression meme drawings a while back, I also use that for Soul Calibur's Versus mode a lot.

So what if I don't want to fight random characters I created all the time? Maybe I want to keep it to just the Soul Calibur roster, but I'm also an indecisive bitch?

So I use a roulette spinner app and make multiple at a time to let fate pick the characters, their colour palettes, weapons, etc. for me.

Like a certain drawing tablet, iPad, phone or on a rock like the OG artists

I use an Intuos graphics tablet! (medium, 'cause I like to hold it when I draw.) I've tried some other brands and styles of tablet, but in the end I personally just like the feeling of the Wacom surfaces the best. sorry to my wallet. 😔

#i've tried display tablets and i just...don't like them as much #i've gotten too used to plopping my tablet in my lap and looking up at my screen versus eternal shrimp mode #one of my art teachers was like...genuinely SO bothered by this and kept trying to make me use a cintiq instead 😭#but tbh i'm more bothered by having the feeling of a layer between the pen and the drawing #than by the disconnect between holding the tablet and looking up at a screen #or something like that. idk.#i probably should make another effort to get into displays just for like. work-related reasons. but i like my trusty little intuos too much #especially because uh. well. look i don't want to admit how many times i've accidentally dropped or bumped this little fucker #and it doesn't even notice #you could slam-dunk an intuos into concrete at 20 mph and it would just flash 'TOUCH: OFF' a couple times and be fine #(disclaimer: this is not true. do not do this.)#(do not take tablet-care advice from someone who just admitted to frequently dropping their expensive fancy art tool)

I keep thinking about how the new Refraction Railway is coming, soon, and it makes me giddy ... I can't wait to sink hours into Limbus, again.

This morning, I’m thinking about the Winchester “pushiness” of “what’s next?” Despite chafing against his mom’s question, John then turns around and asks Mary the same thing. What’s next for her?

It is a duality for Mary: she feels pressured, spooked even. But also… warily hopeful. She wants to borrow some of John's hope, actually.

Mary tries to explain to him that she’s just trying to stay alive. Her hunting past feels like predetermination. “Campbell duty and heroics,” maybe.

Overall, John is maybe sometimes too focused on The Future, on What Comes After. We will see that many in his family search for “noble” purpose through work/industriousness. He is practically begging anyone to take his hand and go towards a future with him.
