@theonlygayinoulu WOW! Like I'm... This is so freaking good. I really love the animation style and the perspective its in and how I can tell there's a story behind it. And how even though there's not too much detail in the bottom creature it still manages to be uncanny and spooky. Ugh this is so good. I'm sure the finished novel as a whole will look even better! 😫

I went to the last day of an exhibition of Vilho Lampi's paintings with my parents yesterday on Sunday but couldn't really focus because I was so wrapped up in all of my problems. Anyway, some of the canvases were very emotionally affecting and technically masterful, others not so much.

3 партия фоточек из Атенеума Работа финского скульптора Väinö Aaltonen. Называется Marmor Boy. Очевидно мальчик что-то натворил и сейчас находится в стадии поругания. Почему он в таком странном наряде, не понятно. Но наверняка есть на то причины! Следующая картина художника Vilho Lampi. Называется Nocturne. Vilho в основном писал автопортреты, картины Лиминки и её жителей. От этой картины веет какой-то безысходностью и грустью. Спустя 6 лет после написания, в 1936 году художник утопился. Lennart Segerstråle. Художник знаменит своими фресками и муралами. Увлекался монументальным искусством и сделал несколько витражей для финских и шведских церквей. Это произведение называется Världen brinner, что переводится, как Мир в Огне. Модернизм с христианскими ценностями. Борьба добра и зла. Леннарт Сегерстроле никогда не думал, что насилие будет искоренено. Но он не одобрял насилие, слепой материализм и расовые конфликты, говорит Трюггве Гестрин (один из дальних родственников и владельцев его картин). На этой фотографии часть экспозиции с автопортретами разных авторов.
