reader is hajime’s older sib & knows inui. haji and reader have a yor & yuri relationship (spy x family)
“How come you’re here, in Japan ?” The platinum blonde pointed at the floor as he rambled on as you were cooking, still in shock with your random appearance.
“I’m just visiting ! plus i wanted me to check on my brother. what’s going on with you seishu ?”
“i.” He stopped to think before he spoke— "I’m doing alright.“ inupi’s eyes traveled downwards to watch his twiddling thumbs, a giddy feeling overtaking him.
You took off your apron and started pulling plates down for your late dinner, "Yeah ? That’s wonderful, i hear you got a motor business goin’ on ?” A small warm smile gracing your features, one he’d missed.
“Mhm, with a friend, you should stop by sometime.” seishu got up to help set the table as the door knobs started twisting, “Hey, (name) who’s at the door ?”
A visiblelight bulb went off above uour head. “HAJI, ITS OPEN !!”
“GOT IT.” A familiar voice shouted back, one he identified as hajime opened your front door.
“(name) ?!” he yells out for you. akin to a marco, polo game. “Kitchen !! and guess who’s over for dinner tonight ?”
A dumbfounded look takes over your brother’s face as he see’s his old best friend sitting at the kitchen island. “Oh, Inupi.” Your brother attends to spew out a jumble of words, making the smallest amount of sense to you and even less to seishu.
“Ah ta ta, think about it and calm down Haji.”
“Why’s inupi over for dinner ? And, how come your over ? Got tired of Italy? What’s for dinner anyway.” He let out his questions in a conscious stream of thoughts, missing how close you got while he spoke.
“Well, I missed ya, figured a visit was in order. Italy is fine, just missed good ol’ japan. I wanted to catch up with you, plus inupi was in the area ! And its soup, zuppa toscana, my favorite <3”
He nodded taking in what you said before listening to you continue. “Won’t be a problem, hm haji ? Go wash up, both of ya’.” Your serpant eyed brother nodded his head as they both went off.
‘this is nice,’ you trailed off in thought, old memories of the four of you together. 'hanging with my boys, gonna miss it when I go back to europe…’
“…me), heyyy…”
“oh sei, thanks, did you guys start eating?” you stopped zoning out as he called you, “well, hajime did..”
“HEY, I WAS STARVING!!” You all laughed before chatting it up at dinner. It’s been a while since you’ve been back and you were enjoying it to the max. Shopping, walking around your hometown, visiting old friends even. Sharing stories of your life in Europe.
After dinner bringing you all together is has come time to break you back apart. Sending inupi home for the night and doing dishes with your brother, giving the evening a nice solemnly atmosphere.
“(Name).. ?” Your brother called out, setting the dried dish back in the cupboard. “Hm ? What’s up Haji ?” He turned, his dark eyes staring straight into yours.
“Would you, consider…” He trailed off, debating to finish his thoughts when you faced him, clearing your throat and making hand motions to continue.
“Would you consider staying here for a while ? You could stay here ! I have an extra room not being used and, I just, kinda miss you..” that last part mumbled under his breath.
Your tired eyes softened at his request, setting the sponge and cup down, you enveloped your brother in a hug. “I’d love it too. I can take care of my lil bro, don’t think I can’t see your eye bags.” Giggling with your sibling you finished the dishes and went off to get ready for bed.

How Glass Protects You from UV Rays
Tumblr media
Did you know that excessive exposure to ultraviolet or UV radiation can cause skin cancer? While we cannot see the UV rays, they have been found to be harmful – not only can these waves kill off viruses, but even healthy body cells; at the least, cause them to mutate. Yet a vast number of people remain unaware of how harmful UV rays are in truth.
This is especially true of India, where summer wreaks havoc every year for months on end. While vitamin D is essential, excessive exposure to the sun can cause serious harm.
Here’s How UV Rays Harm Us
UV radiations include a wide spectrum of rays. There are primarily three types of UV rays which the sun emits, as mentioned below.
UVA Rays – About 90% of the rays that reach the surface of the Earth are UVA rays. Also known long-wave light, UVA rays can even penetrate the second layer of skin. These rays mostly cause sun damage, skin ageing, and wrinkling. But excessive exposure to UVA can lead to skin cancer as well.
UVB Rays – Medium-wavelength UVB rays deeply affect the topmost skin layers. Unprotected skin can become red and burn under their exposure. However, most UVB rays do not reach the Earth’s surface.
UVC Rays – Considered to be the most harmful of UV rays, UVC rays do not even reach the surface of the Earth. These rays are fully absorbed by the Ozone layer.
Of the radiation spectrum, UVA rays cause the most harm as they are not filtered by the Ozone layer. In addition to skin cancer, UV rays also cause eye issues, sun damage, premature ageing, weakened immune system, and more.
Even from a 15-minute solar exposure, one can suffer from sunburn, tanning, and skin reddening. Such harmful effects inevitably put forth serious questions about safety and wellness under the sun.
Naturally, there’s a dire need for a solution to this problem, especially since escaping these harmful rays may become quite for those living or working in tropical regions, in areas that receive direct sunlight, and the likes.
Can Glass Block UV Rays?
Put simply; the answer is both ‘yes’ and ‘no.’ Glass is a complex element which can be processed to befit any need, even heat resistance. However, in its natural state, glass has a very high surface emissivity, which means it can absorb and emit solar radiation completely.
To combat this issue, glass can be treated chemically for enhanced solar control and heat resistance properties. Glass can also be tinted or coated to block UV rays to some extent, especially in residential and commercial spaces.
For enhanced thermal comfort, you can invest in the following types of glass.
Low-E Glass
Low-E glass can block both UV and infrared rays of the sun. But visiblelight can pass easily. This is because it has ‘low’ emissivity. Consequently, the glass lowers the amount of solar radiation absorbed and transmitted. Outside heat is reduced tremendously.
For best benefits, you can install Low-E glass for skylights or bay windows to keep out harmful UV rays and still enjoy ample daylight. On the other hand, glass does not let the internal heat to move out, so you can also enjoy warmer winters.
Solar Control Glass
A protective oxide-based coating is applied to solar control glass, which reflects away most of the UV radiation. It also prevents excessive solar glare and offers overall thermal comfort. In this way, solar control glass keeps the indoors cooler and cheerful.
Solar control glass is best suited for window use. You can install it in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc. and enjoy excellent thermal comfort. It will also lower your reliance on AC as well as heating systems for energy-efficiency.
Solar-Low-E Glass
A combination of low-E and solar control glass, solar-low-E glass has a protective solar coating. It can reflect away harmful UV rays, infrared rays, and solar glare. At the same time, solar-low-E glass keeps the outside heat from seeping in or inside heat from seeping out to create a comfortable ambience indoors.
You can use solar-low-E glass for both residential and commercial applications. Keep out harmful UV radiation and benefit from improved energy efficiency. You can use the glass for façades, walkways, balconies, doors, internal partitions, windows, and much more.
To Sum Up
Many people continue to rely on curtains and blinds to prevent heat entrance. However, these methods not only block the harmful UV rays, but they also block the natural light. For a more ‘permanent’ solution, homeowners should turn to high-performance glass instead.
As you know, prolonged exposure to UV rays can cause severe damage to your eyes and skin. Not to mention, excessive sun exposure can cause furniture and upholstery to fade, glass windows to crack, raise indoor heat, and whatnot. But with proper glass applications, you can cut down UV radiation significantly.

SPECTRUM // The Huntington Library, San Marino, CA . Cone-shaped cells in our eyes act as receivers tuned to the wavelengths in this narrow band of the spectrum. Other portions of the spectrum have wavelengths too large or too small for the biological limitations of our perception. So essentially our human eyes can only detect 0.0035% of the electromagnetic spectrum yet so many adhere to the limiting belief, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” Remember that your body is limited in its capacity to experience “reality” so keep an open mind & heart when exploring the realms of the unseen. 👁👁👁 . . . #sourcefield #source #spectrum #light #visiblelight #electromagneticspectrum #3d #reality #explorations #foodforthought #theunseen #invisible #earthlife #humanexperience (at Planet Earth) https://www.instagram.com/p/ChTGMagvHVz/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Deep-sea animals take hide-and-seek to a whole new level! . Organisms like this bloodbelly comb jelly (Lampocteis cruentiventer) use red pigments to hide in the darkness of the deep sea. Red light is one of the first wavelengths of visible light to be absorbed by the ocean (at ~100 meters), so it appears black in the darkness of the deep. . Lighting at these depths is a subtle art. In order to actually see what is in the water and take high-quality images, MBARI engineers have equipped our ROV’s with multiple, high-powered lighting tools. The ROV Doc Ricketts has six 17,700 lumen LED lights and four 250 watt Incandescent lights. Just for comparison, the LED light bulb in your living room gives you 1,100 lumens and a typical light bulb runs from about 40-75 watts. The ROV Ventana uses six 400 watt HMI lamps and two 250 watt LED lamps—all used to light up and record the fantastic organisms that live in the absolute blackness of the deep sea. . Note
if someone says they don't want a post to be about reds it's super fucking rude to reblog and make it all about reds, you know.
(context)
a) the op never said they didn’t want the post to be about reds, they said reds were not included in their chart and their “send me pairs of castes and I will tell you where they overlap and where” invitation.
b) well as far as I’m concerned ‘all castes! (but not reds)’ is… rather more than super fucking rude, so, you know.
c) if the op is pollution triggered by seeing content about reds or whatever else like that, they are very free to block me and then they will never see any of my reblogs and won’t even have to know they exist. (and relevant to b, if they had actually said that, in an actually considerate way, I would in fact have respected that and made a separate post rather than reblogging theirs).
