3.favorite line/scene you wrote this year

I can't share my actual favorite because that fic will be published only in February next year, and I can't spoil it/reveal that I'm the author yet 😢 It's only say that is a femslash smut for Code Lyoko fandom, which is very much not my usual thing xD

But I'm going to share a piece of a different unpublished fic that I like. I was suppose to post it for 2024 Prongsfoot Fest this July. Struggled with it a lot, didn't finish that oneshot on time. I still haven't gave up on this and I like.. add a few sentences per month to my draft (currently about 2.8k). Hopefully I'll finish it next year lol xD Anyways, that was suppose to be Hockey Player/Figure Skater AU, which isn't mentioned in this snippet but I like that a lot.

Sirius should have known that all the important people in his life stumbled into it by accident. Of course, he had parents, he had a brother (barely a year younger than him, but forever a whiny baby in Sirius’s eyes), he had cousins and aunts and uncles and God knows how many other relatives. But if Sirius had to name one important person in his life, he wouldn’t pick any of them.

12.favorite character to write about this year

Ooh that's a tricky one. I've tried writing so many fandoms and characters this year! But I think my favorites were Chrissy (Stranger Things) - I wrote 3 oneshots with her, and Lise (Code Lyoko) - she got a series of 5 small oneshots.

Alone On Thanksgiving? Mad At Your Mom? by Anonymous

Hellcheer Modern AU. Chrissy moved to California and she'd coming back to Hawkins for Thanksgiving. She meets Eddie through craigslist because he basically put up an ad "do you need a fake boyfriend for holidays to piss of your relatives". He didn't expect anyone to actually answer but. Yeah they're about to give Laura Cunningham a heart attack and it's HILARIOUS.

INDIANAPOLIS GENERAL - 12:40 AM by IntotheTrees

Hellcheer, No Upside Down AU, outsider POV. Chrissy is a waitress, Eddie got into a bar fight. Very very cute fic!

Wild Thing (You Make My Heart Sing) by MoonWitch96

(Some of the tagged ships are Harringrove and Heelcheer but there weren't any romantic plot points yet really. Rated E for violence etc)

Time-travel fix-it, where Chrissy and Billy got psychic abilities after thet've died, and they returned into their old bodies to the point when Billy and Max has just moved to Hawkins. This fic touches on trauma/trauma response a lot. I love the characterisation of Billy in this work. Since he, well, died, it changed him a lot. He actually tried to mend his relationship with Max. Also this fic has protective Hopper (I think he has one chapter from his POV so far?) which I adore.

Greatmage, No Upside Down AU. Okay first of all I really like epistolary fiction, but it's not super common so I'm so glad to see it for this rarepair! Also, a separate kudos for the visuals - it's very very cute. The plot is fluffy and comforting, and I think that El/Jane backstory for this AU is great.

Hellcheer, No Upside Down AU. After graduation Eddie opens a shop where he's trying to sell metal cassetes/band merch but he's not great at sales. He desides to hire someone… The only person who comes to the inverview happens to be Chrissy.

Salvage by MuffinLance

Gen, early canon divergence. Zuko falls from the ship and is found by Water's Tribe ship. Zuko redemption arc. IMHO The best thing in this fic are moments that show cultural differences between Fire and Water nations (and briefly Earth nation), espesially when we see the same stuff from different POV. Also +1 cutenes: Zuko is good with animals.
