So a weekish ago I got a snapchat from my friend of a picture of my face on the cover of Vita.mn magazine. I agreed to do the photoshoot but had no idea they'd pick my mug for the cover.

Kinda cool right? How many times in the average persons life with that happen? :) I just thought i'd make a post about it and share! It's weird to be recognized by strangers and to see my face all over downtown.

Countdown: T-10 Days and Counting

Today is Saturday March 2nd and I woke up this morning highly excited about SXSW. One thing that I believe contributed to this was that last night I helped out fellow students at Mill City Nights for the Vita.mn competition to find out which band will fill the final slot at our day party. The band that was selected was Carroll, who was recently named by the City Pages as one of the top Twin Cities college bands to be heard. After the announcement was made the band got up on stage to play an additional set to a packed house and the crowd was really digging the music. I can hardly put into words how excited I am to be able to witness this band play at our showcase and watch them begin to place their mark on the Twin Cities music scene and beyond.
