This particular concert is so painful to see because only three were present and it's been so long since their last comeback. I feel when Leo said he's feels like VIXX name was being forgotten slowly because it does feel like it when new kpop fans come in and questioned, 'Who is VIXX?'. My heart just hurts for the members, to see them cry the way they did. They missed VIXX just as much as us and it sucks to see them be that way.

But they made such a good song to comeback. I love 'Gonna be alright', the lyrics just resonates so much to me. VIXX and Starlight will be alright. Even going through all the shitshow, they will still exist, every single one of the members.

VIXX has six members. Always has and will always be. I hope one day we be able to see all 6 of them together even if it's unofficial.

vixx should just disband tbh. i think jelpi should invest on other ventures instead of milking the same dried up cow. just look at their newest fan concert. its a shameless cash grab and the only thing that makes it vixx is that balf of the group is there. they dont use concepts anymore after scentists, parallel was the ugliest music video i've ever seen, and their overpriced tarot cards are glorified photocards. they can say ot6 forever but thats idol speak. theyre obliged to say that no matter what they actually feel. i think fans should stop pretending vixx is still alive and just appreciate what is already in the past.

As a OT6 VIXX supporter/STARLIGHT + Ravi fan, it became much difficult to show people to have proof and sharing the real truth behind Ravi's military scandal because the majority of those people reading about Ravi's military scandal and his trial updates are from clickbait articles + AllKpop, Soompi and Koreaboo.

Plus, there are so many STARLIGHTs are deciding to support VIXX as only OT5/OT4/OT3 + STARLIGHTs who thought they are supporting OT6 VIXX but in reality they turned out to be OT5/OT4/OT3 VIXX supporters...

And there are fans from another Kpop fandom are sending d3ath threats, and r@p3 jokes to Ravi. They even kept saying "FUCK RAVI" and believing that Ravi is going to jail and Ravi doing a fake epilepsy...

The fucking drama of the thekking ad, ppl pissed #3 won because it’s ot4 and saying it was a tie the poll says both are 41% but some say it isn’t on theirs … ppl saying they only voted for the #2 ad because it was a nod to ot6 … BUTTT now thekking said that they confirmed that a person who is not currently a member of VIXX is included in the 3rd draft (they were very sneaky if there is I mean I saw a hand and an ear in the jaehwan scentist clip but I didn’t notice more?? Unlike the others ) that won first place they had to cancel the confirmation because it may be a copyright issue… and they are like please resubmit and only include videos of members who are currently active as VIXX

Breaking The Hiatus

I experienced life with less social media for the past three years I didn’t write here. Less Facebook and Instagram but Twitter, I can't. It will always be may kpop-haven.

I dropped keeping records of my day to day activity and probably getting back here for entries cause I miss expressing myself and hoping that people bumping into this page may pick up something good.

Also, It's good to look back and see how I've grown emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.

So hello to you if you're reading this. Declaring blessing over blessing to you and your household; praying for God's protection to your family members from head to foot and all the abundance this life could offer.

Going back, I've been through the process of healing in the past 3 years. It wasn't easy and I can say I haven't fully recovered. Despite of everything, my heart is more than willing to love as much as it can or even more than it can.

Two Days & 1 Night S4 was my healing show. I found Kim Seonho to be my greatest healing warrior. He's also my biggest "BUDOL" (it means implusive buying in Filipino)

I added his merch to my fair share of growing kpop collection. Oh and also Ravi's (from VIXX) merch. I instantly became a HoRavi shipper and later on a solid OT6.

I got a new job title, unexpectedly and not part of my life's plan definitely.

The Lord is always faithful to His promises. I am deeply amazed how he lead me to where I am now, fit for exactly what I need just at the right time. 

For now, I'm a daughter fulfilling my duties to the best people who brought me up and showered me with unconditional love.

Behind everything, I am a woman full of faith, hope, and love to give despite all the silent pain I've been through.

1. Voodoo Doll - VIXX

- I know I am writing for an audience who basically focuses on female idols, but I need to acknowledge that it is actually a boy group who led me into this K-pop world in 2013. And that boy group is VIXX. Voodoo Doll basically enshrined their status as the Concept Kings which led them to their first win. I cannot forget that era, OT6 forever.

2. Rum Pum Pum Pum – f(x)

- I’m Asian, I love math, I love K-pop, f(x) is the first girl group I ever listened to and Hot summer is still the best summer song of all time. I remember listening to Rum Pum Pum Pum when it first released and I had a crush on red-haired Krystal immediately.

3. Very Good – Block B

- I was basically bullied in high school because I used to wear long, long white socks to school. I like the comfort they bring me, but as you can probably tell, a teenage male wearing long white socks is probably not a good sight to look at…unless you are ZICO. I remember the first time I saw the MV and I was pissed off. How can he ride this kind of fashion, with that kind of hair and still be extremely handsome, unlike myself. And I hated that song too, it was too noisy for me. Fast forward 3 years later, I stumbled upon this song again, and for some reason I fell in love with it. 4. Crooked – G-Dragon

- I never stanned Big Bang, nor do I follow their musical paths. But Crooked is one of those songs that you basically cannot avoid, whether it is because your friends are talking about it, or maybe because it tops every single chart you know, either official charts or fan made charts like K-Ville. It was a great song at that time, it is still a great song today, and I am sure it will still be a great song in the future.

5. Ringa Linga – Taeyang

- Everything G-Dragon touches turns into gold. This is probably the one song that shaped my musical preference to liking EDMs. Also, Taeyang is probably the only human being that can rock a white-haired mohawk without looking like a complete idiot.

*sigh* lately i’ve just been feeling so bittersweet and nostalgic about vixx… like, “way back when” during 2015-2019 in their peak era, it was so different; kpop itself was so different too. however, vixx specifically, the fandom was so… idk, i found it easier to meet starlights back then? probably because vixx was super active or smth…or maybe it was just the time and the people back then. it’s so hard to find like-minded people nowadays because you have me, an ot6 stan who’s oh so passionate about those 6 idiots; and at the same time, you have too many variations of fans ! this post isn’t meant to be hostile or anything—merely just a rant for me to put out there in (maybe) hopes of finding more like-minded, active starlights.

i left the “deep kpop stan” life a while ago, but with me recently coming back, i’m just hit with so many new things and concepts and groups! obviously it’s a new generation—OF COURSE things are new to me! idk…

i’m not saying that i wish i were back in that era or anything like that—but i do wish that the community i once was part of didn’t have to “die” so much. IM NOT SAYING IT COMPLETELY DIED! obviously times change (like i said previously)… i just really miss being a kpop stan in 2015-2019. everything, not just vixx related, is so different now compared to back then…
