The Impact of Voice Search on SEO and Content Marketing
Tumblr media
Are you ready to witness the next evolution in search engine optimization and content marketing? Say hello to voice search – the game-changing technology that is reshaping how we interact with digital devices. With the rise of virtual assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant, users can now speak their queries instead of typing them.
This revolution has far-reaching implications for both SEO professionals and content marketers alike. In this blog post, we will explore the fascinating world of voice search and delve into its profound impact on SEO strategies and content creation. Get ready to unlock new opportunities and stay ahead in this exciting era where our voices are transforming the way we connect with information online!
Introduction To Voice Search And Its Rise In Popularity
In today’s fast-paced digital world, technology has already brought about significant changes in the way we access information. With the rise of smartphones and smart home devices, voice search has become an increasingly popular method for finding information online. In fact, according to ComScore, it is predicted that by 2020, 50% of all searches will be done through voice commands.
It  allows users to speak into a device instead of typing their query into a search engine. This feature enables users to multitask while searching for information, making it a convenient and hands-free alternative to traditional typed searches. This convenience factor contributes greatly towards its growing popularity.
There are several key reasons why voice search has gained traction in recent years. Firstly, advancements in natural language processing (NLP) technology have significantly improved the accuracy and effectiveness of voice recognition software. This means that devices like Siri, Google Assistant, and Amazon’s Alexa can better understand human speech patterns and nuances – making it easier for users to communicate with them.
Secondly, as more households adopt smart home devices like Google Home or Amazon Echo, people are becoming more accustomed to performing tasks using just their voices rather than manually inputting information on a screen. As these devices become accessible and affordable for almost everyone, the use of voice search is expected to continue rising exponentially.
Moreover, research shows that the younger generation prefers using voice commands over traditional typing methods when conducting online searches.
How Does Voice Search Work And What Devices Use It?
It is a rapidly growing technology that has become a popular method of online searching for many individuals. It allows users to speak into their devices instead of typing out keywords and phrases, providing them with hands-free and more convenient access to information.
The basic process of voice search involves a user speaking into a device, which then converts the spoken words into text and performs an internet search based on the interpreted query. This entire process is done through natural language processing (NLP), which uses algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI) to understand and interpret human speech.
One common misconception about voice search is that it only works on smartphones or digital assistants like Amazon’s Alexa or Google Home. While these are certainly popular devices for voice searches, there is actually a wide range of devices that utilize this technology. Some examples include:
Smartphones: As mentioned earlier, smartphones are one of the most common devices used for voice searches due to their convenience and accessibility.
Smart speakers: These are standalone speaker systems that use AI-powered virtual assistant software such as Alexa or Google Assistant to perform various tasks including voice searches.
Laptops/desktops: Many desktop web browsers now have built-in microphone support, allowing users to perform voice searches directly from their computers without needing any additional devices.
The Impact Of Voice Search On SEO
The rise of voice search has greatly impacted the way people interact with technology and consume information. With the increasing popularity of virtual assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant, more and more users are turning to spoken queries to get answers to their questions.
This shift in consumer behavior has had a significant impact on SEO (search engine optimization) strategies for businesses. In this section, we will take a closer look at how voice search has influenced SEO practices and what businesses can do to adapt to this trend.
1. Changes in keywords and phrases
One of the biggest impacts of voice search on SEO is the change in keyword usage. When typing a query into a search engine, users tend to use short and concise keywords such as ‘best coffee shops near me.’ However, when using voice search, people tend to use longer phrases or complete sentences, such as ‘What are the best coffee shops near my location?”
This means that businesses need to shift their focus from short-tail keywords to long-tail conversational phrases when optimizing their content for voice search. This requires understanding natural language patterns and incorporating them into your content strategy.
Importance of local optimization
Voice searches are often focused on finding information or services in a specific location. For example, someone using voice search is more likely looking for “restaurants near me” rather than just “restaurants.” This makes local optimization crucial for businesses wanting to rank well on voice search results.

Strategies For Optimizing Content For Voice Search
Voice search technology is rapidly evolving and becoming a popular way for people to access information. With the rise of devices like smart speakers, virtual assistants, and voice-enabled smartphones, more and more people are turning to voice search to find the answers they need. In fact, experts predict that by 2020, 50% of all online searches will be done through voice.
As a content marketer or an SEO specialist, it’s essential to understand how this shift towards voice search can impact your strategies. With that in mind, here are some tips for optimizing your content for voice search:
Use natural language: When people conduct a text-based search on Google, they often use short phrases or keywords. However, when using voice search, they tend to speak in full sentences or ask complete questions. Therefore, it’s crucial to use natural language in your content and focus on long-tail keywords rather than short ones.
Answer frequently asked questions: Voice searches often revolve around asking specific questions such as ‘What is the best restaurant near me?’ or ‘How do I tie a tie?’. Anticipating these types of queries and providing concise answers within your content can help you rank higher in voice search results.
Optimize for featured snippets: Featured snippets are selected pieces of information from websites that appear at the top of Google’s organic search results in a box with a summary of the answer.
Importance Of Long-Tail Keywords And Natural Language Phrases
In today’s digital age, voice search is rapidly becoming a preferred method for people to find information. With the increasing popularity of virtual assistants such as Amazon’s Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple’s Siri, the importance of optimizing for voice search cannot be ignored. Along with this shift towards voice-based interactions, there has also been a growing emphasis on using long-tail keywords and natural language phrases in SEO and content marketing strategies.
Long-tail keywords are longer and more specific phrases that are highly targeted to a particular audience. Unlike short-tail keywords which tend to be broad and competitive, long-tail keywords focus on capturing specific user intent. The use of these longer phrases allows businesses to better understand the needs of their target audience and tailor their content accordingly.
One major benefit of incorporating long-tail keywords into your SEO strategy is that it can significantly improve your search rankings in both traditional text-based searches and voice search results. Voice searches tend to be more conversational in nature compared to typed searches, meaning that users are likely to use complete sentences or questions when performing a voice search. By including relevant long-tail keywords in your content, you increase the chances of matching these natural language queries and appearing higher in the results.
Moreover, as virtual assistants become smarter and more sophisticated at understanding human speech patterns, they also prioritize providing users with direct answers rather than a list of websites like traditional search engines do.
Content Marketing In The Age Of Voice Search
The rise of voice search technology has revolutionized the way we interact with our devices and access information. With the increasing popularity of virtual assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant, more and more people are using their voices to search for information online.
This shift towards voice-based searches is changing the landscape of both SEO and content marketing. In order to stay ahead in this evolving digital landscape, it’s important for businesses to understand the impact of voice search on their content marketing strategies.
Optimizing Content for Voice Search
With traditional text-based searches being replaced by voice queries, it’s crucial for businesses to optimize their website content for voice search. Unlike text-based searches that typically consist of a few keywords, voice queries are longer and conversational in nature. This means that your content should be optimized for long-tail keywords and natural language phrases.
In addition, since most virtual assistants rely on featured snippets or “position zero” results when responding to voice searches, it’s essential to ensure that your content is structured in a way that makes it easy for search engines to pull relevant information from your website. Optimize your headings, meta tags, and subheadings with high-performing keywords so they can be easily picked up by vocal queries.
Another important aspect of optimizing content for voice search is focusing on local SEO. According to research, 58% of consumers have used voice search to find local business information in the last year alone.
Integration Of Virtual Assistants In Content Marketing
The increasing popularity of voice search has led to a rise in the use of virtual assistants such as Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant. These intelligent computer programs are able to understand and respond to human voice commands, making them a valuable resource for content marketers. In this section, we will discuss the integration of virtual assistants in content marketing and how it impacts SEO.
The first step towards utilizing virtual assistants in your content marketing strategy is understanding how they work. Virtual assistants use natural language processing (NLP) technology to interpret spoken queries and provide relevant answers or solutions. This means that the way people talk differs from how they type, so content needs to be optimized accordingly.
One of the key advantages of incorporating virtual assistants into your content marketing strategy is improved discoverability. As more users turn to voice search, it becomes crucial for businesses to optimize their online presence for these queries. This includes creating conversational long-tail keywords that align with user’s spoken queries rather than traditional typed searches.
For example, instead of targeting keywords like ‘best pizza restaurant’, you can target phrases like ‘where can I find the best pizza near me’. This not only improves your chances of appearing in voice search results but also makes your content more discoverable overall.
Challenges For Businesses With The Rise Of Voice Search
The rise of voice search technology has changed the way people interact with their devices and access information. With the increasing popularity of virtual assistants like Siri, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa, more and more people are using voice commands to search for information online. This trend has significant implications for businesses, as it presents both challenges and opportunities.
Challenges: 1. Change in Keywords: As compared to traditional typed searches, voice searches tend to be longer and conversational in nature. People tend to use natural language when giving voice commands, rather than typing specific keywords. This means that businesses will need to adapt their SEO strategies accordingly by incorporating long-tail keywords and phrases used in natural speech.
Increased Competition: With the rise of voice search, there is a higher likelihood of increased competition for top search engine rankings. Voice assistants often provide only one or two results based on the user’s query, which means businesses will have to compete harder for those few coveted spots.
3. Localization: A major challenge for businesses with voice search is localizing their content effectively. Most voice searches are location-based, as users ask for services or products closest to them. Therefore, it is critical for businesses to optimize their websites and listings with accurate local information such as business hours, address and contact information.
Tips For Staying Ahead In The Game With A Voice Search-Friendly Strategy
As voice search continues to gain popularity, it has become imperative for businesses and content marketers to adapt their strategies in order to stay ahead in the game. Optimizing your content for voice search is no longer an option but a necessity if you want to maintain visibility and reach your target audience effectively. Here are some helpful tips for developing a voice search-friendly strategy:
Understand how people use voice search: Before you start optimizing your content, it’s important to understand how people actually use voice search. Unlike traditional text-based searches, users tend to ask more conversational questions when using voice assistants like Siri or Alexa. This means that your content needs to focus on answering specific questions rather than just incorporating keywords.
Use long-tail keywords and natural language: As mentioned earlier, people tend to use more conversational language when talking to voice assistants. Therefore, incorporating long-tail keywords and phrases that mimic natural speech patterns can greatly improve your chances of being featured in a voice search result.
Optimize for local searches: A significant portion of voice searches are location-based queries, such as ‘where is the nearest coffee shop?’ or ‘what restaurants are near me?’. Ensure that your website and business listings are optimized for local SEO by including relevant information such as address, phone number, business hours, and customer reviews.
Focus on featured snippets: Featured snippets are the short summarized answers that appear at the top of Google’s organic search results. These snippets are also used as answers in voice search results, so having your content featured in this position can significantly increase your chances of being selected by a voice assistant.
Make use of structured data markup: Structured data markup is code that helps search engines understand the content on your website and display it in a more prominent and organized manner. Including structured data on your website can improve its visibility in search results, including voice search.
Create FAQ pages: As mentioned earlier, people tend to ask specific questions when using voice assistants. Creating an FAQ page with relevant questions and answers can make it easier for search engines to find and feature your content in voice search results.
Improve site speed and mobile responsiveness: Voice searches are often done on mobile devices, so it’s important to ensure that your website is optimized for mobile use. This means having a fast loading speed and a responsive design that adjusts to different screen sizes.
Monitor and adapt: As with any marketing strategy, it’s important to continually monitor the performance of your content and adjust accordingly. Keep track of how your content is ranking in both traditional and voice search results, and make necessary changes to continue improving your strategy.
Conclusion
As technology continues to evolve, It is becoming increasingly popular among consumers. The impact on SEO and content marketing cannot be ignored. By optimizing your website for voice search and creating voice-friendly content, you can stay ahead of the competition and reach a wider audience.
It’s important to stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing and adapt accordingly. Incorporating voice search into your strategy can lead to improved visibility, increased traffic, and higher conversions. Embrace the change and watch your business thrive in this new era of search optimization.

In 2023, Why Should You Optimize Your Website for Voice Search?
In the past, talking to robot assistants every day seemed impossible. But if we want to find the closest taco stand, dog park, or day spa, Siri and Alexa can help us.It's now common to use a virtual assistant to conduct web searches on smartphones, smart speakers, and smart TVs. It's often faster, easier, and more efficient than typing in a query. The catch is that a typical voice search won't be the same as a standard text search. Our queries are phrased differently when we talk to our devices. This is closer to what we would say in real life. This is why SEO professionals and marketers need to be able to capture the growing number of searchers.

Hedy Lamarr (Samson and Delilah, Ziegfeld Girl)—Look. I'm sure someone has already submitted Hedy Lamarr because she was spectacularly beautiful, and a very strong lady too: she fled both an abusive marriage AND nazi persecution at a very young age and rebuilt a life for herself pursuing her love for acting all on her own!! Her career as an actress was stellar; while she began acting outside of Hollywood (her very first movie, Ecstasy, won a prize at the Venice Film Festival), she conquered American hearts very quickly with her first movie in the US, Algiers, and then just kept getting better and better. If all this isn't enough, she was also an inventor: her invention of the frequency-hopping spread spectrum radio transmission technique forms the base of bluetooth and has a lot of applications in all kinds of communication technologies. I think that deserves a prize, don't you?
Marilyn Monroe (How to Marry a Millionaire, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Some Like It Hot)— Ngl I thought you all were lying about sexual attraction until I saw Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
This is round 6 of the tournament. All other polls in this bracket can be found here. Please reblog with further support of your beloved hot sexy vintage woman.

Hedy Lamarr:
Tumblr media
The only person you can find both on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in the Inventor's Hall of Fame--her radio-frequency-hopping technology forms the basis for cordless phones, wi-fi, and a dozen other aspects of modern life. She was also passionate in her efforts to aid the Allies in WWII (unsurprising for a Jewish-Austrian Emigree to America), and her name served as the backbone for one of the best running jokes in what is possibly Mel Brooks' best movie. Look, Louis B. Mayer apparently believed he could plausibly promote her as "The world's most beautiful woman". Is an entire website full of people going to be less audacious than one Louis B. Mayer? I didn't think so!
Tumblr media
Described as "Hedy has the most incredible personal sophistication. She knows the peculiarly European art of being womanly; she knows what men want in a beautiful woman, what attracts them, and she forces herself to be these things. She has magnetism with warmth, something that neither Dietrich nor Garbo has managed to achieve" by Howard Sharpe, she managed to escape her controlling husband (and Nazi Germany) by a) Disguising as her maid and fleeing to Paris or b) Convincing the husband to let her wear all of her jewelry to a dinner, only to disappear afterwards. Also she was particularly clever and helped develop Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum (I can't really explain it but anyway...)
Tumblr media
Her depiction of Delilah and Samson and Delilah just lives rent free in my head. The woman was gorgeous.
Tumblr media
One of the most beautiful women ever in film, spoken by many critics and fans. Beautiful shapely figure, deeper seductive voice, and often played femme fatale roles. She was also brilliant and an inventor. Mainly self-taught, she invested her spare time, including on set between takes, in designing and drafting inventions, which included an improved traffic stoplight and a tablet that would dissolve in water to create a flavored carbonated drink, and much more.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gorgeous and brilliant pioneer of modern technology and the middle part.
Tumblr media
Marilyn Monroe:
Tumblr media
She's amazing!!! A classic bombshell, as well as a strong women who overcame so many obstacles. She also advocated for others, like Ella Fitzgerald.
Tumblr media
That fucking saxophone that cuts in whenever she appears on screen in Some Like it Hot
Tumblr media
I mean, it's Marilyn Monroe. She's adorable. She's gorgeous. She funny. She's the total package
Tumblr media
She's the original American sex symbol, an iconic beautiful woman with eyes you could get lost in, legs for days, gorgeous hair, and a cute tummy. Her voice! Just listen to her voice!!!!!
youtube
She is considered one of THE sex symbols of the 1960s and one of the greatest actresses of all time! She HAS to be on this list!
Tumblr media
no vintage movie woman is more iconically hot
Tumblr media
People are most familiar with pictures of her in the white dress or the Happy Birthday Mr President one, but imo she is at her most beautiful and looks most comfortable when she is photographed by women like Eve Arnold
Tumblr media
It’s Marilyn Monroe. If Aphrodite was an actual person, she’d be Marilyn. Do I really need to say more?
Tumblr media
What can I say that hasn't been said? Marilyn's legacy is so much bigger than she was in life. She's a defining symbol of 50s and 60s Hollywood sex and it's obvious why. She was absolutely stunning and the camera loved her.

cw: minors dni. smut. first time sex. literal breeding. sci-fi themed. female body parts for reader. izuku is bigger than reader. size kink if you squint.
The dynamics of the world as you knew it thousands of years ago are now gone, and ever since you awoke from cryogenic slumber just 24 hours ago, the next phase of humanity’s plan to continue to exist and expand through the stars is now in progress.
Repopulation.
The new Earth substitute you inhabit is practically devoid of humans and will need bodies, at least until enough of you can build robots to replace your physical labor. There are fifty of you in total, of reproductive age and of peak physical, intellectual and emotional ability (aggregate, with some compartments allowed to be lower than others), and you are assigned to partners based on your compatibility.
They call you terraforming partners. It’s a euphemism for mate. Your only job is to breed.
There are of course other departments to work in the colonizing efforts. Some of the selected fifty have double appointments in the repopulation department and in research and development, others in art and communications, still others in nutrition. You failed to select a secondary appointment prior to your assignment to this planet, and thus have the appointment of Propagator-09A.
It is time to meet your mate. Taking in a deep breath, you leave your quarters, housed in one of two L-shaped buildings surrounding the Nexus or central headquarters, and walk straight down the hall of the dorm building into the designated repopulation centers. These are where you will perform your duties.
The two of you will enter a dome-shaped building from opposite ends of the room. You’re not sure who awaits you on the opposite end of the door, just that they are sexually compatible with you, and pass other measures of compatibility based on a predetermined algorithm. This algorithm is not meant for love, not meant for marriage, just sex and reproduction. Will you two produce at least two minimum viable human children that can be turned over to the administration to be raised? That’s all that is asked of you, and that is what you are contracted to do -
... regardless of who will show up in the next few minutes.
The watch on your wrist monitors your heart rate and everything other than it, and it is starting to beep in concern of your rising heart rate. You suck air into your lungs and let it blow out of your nose.
Mates are not allowed to hurt you. They are to watch for your comfort, as you are to watch for theirs, they are to stop if you’re not ready, and you are allowed to leave at any time. They are meant to fit you perfectly, and you were specific enough in your application to explain how you liked to be held and pleased.
This will be okay, you tell yourself. It will all be okay.
The door slides upwards into the apex of the dome, and you step into your new home away from home, at presumably the same time as your mate. Marching straight into the center of the room, your eyes lowered to the ground to steady yourself, you don’t notice that the man on the opposite end has not yet begun to move, and when you look up finally once you’ve reached the center, you see him for the very first time, and his cheeks are tinted with the deepest of blushes.
The young man’s lips are parted wide, his hands balled into loose fists at his side as if he didn’t know what to do with them. Immediately, you recognize him from the debriefing session just prior to the cryogenic freezing and the young man - tall, handsome, far too talkative with a voice gentler than expected for a man of his stature but in keeping with his softened but still masculine facial features - seems to hang in the frame of the door, transfixed. Not one word comes out of his mouth. You notice the top of his head, covered in mossy green curls, just barely grazes the top of the door, remembering that the domes have much lower ceilings than the buildings back home.
“Hi,” you eke out, then quickly add, “watch your head.”
Your voice is smaller than usual as you offer him a slightly nervous, strained smile, and he looks as though a shock runs through his body as you speak to him, bumping his head anyway as he walks in despite your warning. You raise your eyebrows, and he laughs just as nervously before meeting up to you.
Standing just inches apart, he scratches his neck, and the pink beneath his freckles still hasn’t abated, but at least now he can talk.
“Sorry about that haha, I’m… I just didn’t realize you’d be so pretty.”
Your own face deeply warms at those words. He’s easy on the eyes too, and you’re thankful for it, but he doesn’t need to charm you as easily as he does.
Shy yourself, you’re at a loss for words to reply, even thank you failing to be generated. He notices the silence, and quickly fills in the space.
“I’m Izuku. Izuku Midoriya… uh, your terraforming partner. Nice to meet you.”
His hand stretches out to shake yours, and you shake it. It’s larger, warm, and heavily calloused. You wonder what type of work he does, before the mission or now that he’s on this planet with you. With those broad shoulders and impressive biceps of his, you figure it could be something manual, but he’s always sounded quite intelligent so perhaps the muscles are more for show.
“Nice to meet you too. I’m ___.”
As if on cue, once you’ve introduced yourselves, the doors slide down behind the both of you, closing you in. There’s a loud click, and then the pod announces that it’s moving underground, and you steady yourself as gravity shifts. Your partner’s hands extend reflexively to hold you to prevent you from falling, but he’s careful not to touch you unless the motion is invited.
The pod settles onto solid ground again.
The space isn’t small, but it’s not large either, and while it’s mostly monotone, a smattering of whites and beiges and glass, many of the surfaces are soft and plush. A large, round bed with many pillows, a glass panel that doubles both as a window and a screen is across from it. When you try the window, you realize your pod hasn’t moved completely underground, and you can still see the suns’ rays in the afternoon. You’d heard that the pods are set up this way for insulation. For heat, and for… sound.
You look towards Izuku again. His back is turned from you and he’s looking around the pod as well, examining every corner and crevice, his fingers rubbing his chin as he thinks. He’s a caricature of a thoughtful person, you think, soon distracted by the way his shirt hangs over the muscles of his back. He stretches for a moment, and you see the muscles flex under the thin fabric. Something stirs in your chest, then you look away quickly, deciding to search through the closets.
These algorithms hit the nail on the head when it comes to your type, you hate to admit.
Poring through the closets and drawers reveals all manners of lingerie and loungewear, as well as a few very specific costumes that seem to be for roleplay. Your face warms as you see a set of angel wings, and a bunny leotard, then you glance at him, wondering if these are the types of things he’s into. When you see the gladiator suit hung neatly right next to it, you can feel your blood run cold.
Yes, it’s what you’re into.
There’s a fridge in the center of the room with protein drinks, meal replacement shakes, fresh fruit, wine, chocolate and other sweets, as well as a call button for meals. Cutlery and dishes find themselves in another drawer, along with a small table spread and two chairs that appear at the click of a button in the wall. A makeshift fireplace.
Anything to set the mood.
Pornography in abundance. Dirty comics. You and Izuku both stare in awe at the sheer collection of spank material, then look at each other, and can’t help but laugh.
They really prepared for everything.
By the time you’ve looked at everything, your stomachs are growling. You share a meal together in polite conversation, which turns into friendly banter, laughter, and then soon, back into pregnant silence as you realize the sun is setting, and you remember there not on a date, not to become friends but for a purpose.
The ability to delay the inevitable is now being lost, and eventually you’re both acutely aware of the body that occupies the same space. Izuku looks up at you, clears the plate before him, and broaches the subject first.
“Have you ever-”
“Yes,” you lie.
“Oh.”
He looks down for a second, then looks up at you. You wonder if he’s disappointed, but soon he adds, “I’m sorry if I can’t meet up to expectations but I’m willing to learn how to make you feel good.”
Your stomach twists for a moment, but you offer a smile. He looks sincere, no waver in those bright, green eyes, and it warms you. The two of you clear away the dishes soon, and Izuku tells you he’ll be careful with your body, once clothing has been stripped away, and the two of you are bare and facing each other.
You don’t know what that will entail before he touches you, but the inevitable attraction you have towards him, the magnetic draw that he has to your body, informs you soon. Your lips meet, you on your tip-toes, and his arms reaching carefully around his waist. The first kiss is reticent, soft and anxious, the second is hungry, the third is greedy. His tongue tastes everything your mouth has to offer, yours fights to get its share as well. Your arms wrap around his shoulders, as your chest presses against his. Your hearts beat in time with each other. Thump, thump.
Izuku’s skin smells like spring water and freshly cut grass, and is soft and warm to the touch; his weight against yours is a comfort you’ve needed your whole life. His breath against your skin, soft kisses along your collarbone, between your breasts, over your lower belly, and finally culminating with his mouth laying over your clit makes your body buzz. He whispers something about reading that you cumming first will make you accept him better, but the way he eats you out hungrily makes you think that it’s less tactical and more for the pleasure of it. He’s good with his fingers, too, thick and deep in your crevices, gentle but purposeful.
The act of copulation can be such a solemn, resolute affair, but for you two it’s a new dance, where your bodies open up to each other in concert. Your bodies press and join together, your mouths each swallowing the other’s gasps as he enters you, as you take all of him in. You feel like heaven, he feels like paradise; the ebb and flow between you is perfect, unending. The sun sets without your notice because all you can see is each other.
Unconquered territory is discovered inch by inch, from inside out. Izuku makes your toes curl, your heart skip several beats as you cry out his name, even if you’ve just learned it moments ago. It’s a job, but the pleasure seems almost sinfully indulgent.
And you’re both extremely hard workers by nature.
Breathless by the time he’s filled you to the brim, you have to remind each other that you don’t have to be pregnant at this very moment. He pulls out of you reluctantly, and your body tries to hold onto him, but all good things must come to an end, even if temporarily.
“Are you okay?” he whispers over your knees.
You’re better than okay, full of affection and hope, flooded in hormones. You nod, Izuku offers a kiss to both your kneecaps as he applies just enough pressure with a forearm to keep your folded position. Parts of his semen slips out of you and he asks you if he can, and when you nod, cheeks warm and breathing steady, pushes the slippery substance back into your body with two fingers.
A timer goes off and he sighs, laying down beside you.
“Testing is at the end of the week,” he muses. He’s staring at the ceiling. You want to reach over to him, but it feels too intimate for a first meeting, even if he’s been in your guts, even if he’s planting himself forever into you.
“Yeah.”
“I think we can do it,” he adds. Your worn out body warms, wanting more already.
It’s just a job, you remind yourself. It’s work, not play. Duty, not love.
“Me too.”
Izuku turns to look at you, and he’s so earnest and sweet, you can practically imagine you are lovers, instead of biologically matched mates, and that rather than this transient mission, you’ll be together for the rest of your lives.

ATTENTION KIRBY FANS!
Do you want to see a Kirby movie more than anything, but Nintendo keeps letting you down? Well, today's your lucky day! I'm in the process of creating my very own, fanmade Kirby movie based off of Star Allies - and I'd like your help. I believe that with the efforts of a community coming together to work on this passion project and give something that we love our all, it will turn out better than anything official that they could come out with. Overall, while this project is serious to me and something that I am very dedicated to, I also want it to be fun and for everybody to have a good time creating this art together. If you do decide to jump on and help, there's no need to worry about deadlines or stress or needing to have a ton of skill. But, without further ado....
Animators
I'm looking for people that have experience working in Blender here. Pretty much any skill level is okay, though I will still request that you show me some sort of example (just to verify that you know how the application works at all, basically). Ideally I'd like to have enough people working on this that I could step back from leading the animation, eventually, and focus fully on writing/storyboarding and other design aspects instead - but I understand that this might be unrealistic.
Storyboarding
The more the merrier! Regardless of the level of your art skill or your style, if you can sketch out scenes in a way that's decipherable to others, you're more than welcome here.
Voice Acting
The big one. Voice actors for Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Bandana Waddle Dee would be very much appreciated. I also have a longer list of characters that need voices that includes many of the Dream Friends, Hyness, the Mage Sisters, and more. This is the one thing I will likely be a little picky on, and require you to audition for the role.
Writers
Honestly, I'm not looking for many other writers right now. I think I have it mostly under control, but I could possibly take one or two co-writers on with me.
Sound Effects/Miscellaneous
Do you think you have something to bring to the table that I didn't list before? Great, this is for you! Let me know what you want to do, and honestly, I doubt I'll have any reason to turn you away. Whether it's stitching music and effects together, editing extra graphics, or literally whatever you think will be helpful, tell me so that I can get you in.
Community
If none of that sounds like something you'd be interested in, well, you can still do something to help. Just stick around here! Throughout development I'll be posting updates, questions, and polls about decisions on this blog for you to influence. I want this to be something that the community creates together and can enjoy together. By us, for us, you know? And everyone who wants to deserves to be involved.
- Closing -
If you made it this far, thanks for reading! This blog will likely be changing a lot in the upcoming days as I update and personalize it to be more effective. I also now have a discord server! Anyways, though, the long and short of it is that I'd love to work on this with other people but I will complete it, no matter what. So this is your official guarantee - sometime, in the indiscriminate future, you will have a Kirby movie. And I hope you enjoy it just as much as I'll enjoy making it, because honestly, this is just my dream. I hope I see you around, and have a great day!
progress as of 8/15/24: trailer scripted and (mostly) storyboarded. possibly starting animation soon!

SSP PLUGIN RECOMMENDATIONS
Do you want to customize and expand your desktop buddy experience further? here are some handy links to miscellaneous plug-ins I’ve gathered from around the web, or you can even program your own, and they can also be written in any programming language so the possibilities are limitless! plug-ins are essentially  extensions or add-on built for SSP. I’m not a plugin developer myself, and have yet to test out each one of them for extended periods of time, so please refer to the readme files/ instructions provided by the developers (github usually has info) on how to use them if you get stuck or encounter issues.  these are just some of the more recently updated ones, I'll be adding more to the plugin page of my blog if you're interested.
Tumblr media
Weather Station by Zicheq (of Ukagaka Dream Team) A plugin for both users and devs, for getting weather data! As a developer, you can set your ghost up to receive weather data from this plugin, to then do what you will with! Weather based comments? Outfit changes? Something else totally unrelated? It’s up to you! This plugin will handle the messy details of the user inputting their location and gathering the weather data for you. … (read more here)
Tumblr media
Discord Rich Presence by Ponapalt (main dev of SSP baseware) This plugin is designed for displaying the name of the primary ghost you have open on the ‘currently playing’ status on the Discord for Windows application in real-time. also compatible with displaying your currently played song in FLUX (a really awesome music player ghost by Zi).
CeVIO-Talker V2 Plug-in by Ambergon This Plug-in was initially revealed for Day 21 of the Ukagaka Advent Calendar collaborative project in 2022. using this you can have a fully voiced ghost with a realistic sounding voicebank speak to you out loud! (in English too?) it Requires ceVIO Creative Studio and SSP 2.6.45 (or newer) to work, ceVIO is a vocal synthesizer software commonly compared to Vocaloid and UTAU that works via text-to-speech method. the primary difference between Vocaloid and ceVIO is that ceVIO is built for both TTS/speech and creating vocals for songs in music production. you can download a demo of CeVIO if you would like to try it out here.
GhostSpeaker by apxxxxxxe like CeVIO-Talker, this Plug-in was initially revealed for Day 17 of the Ukagaka Advent Calendar collaborative project in 2023. it’s a successor to the Bouyomi-chan plug-in and utilizes a free (Japanese) text-to-speech software called VOICEVOX and COEIROINK so that your ghost can verbalize their balloon dialogue and speak to you. you can listen to a demo in this github link.
GhostWardrobe by apxxxxxxe allows you to dress up your ghost in different coordinates, mix and match pieces and save and load the outfit combinations from the plugin menu.
Tumblr media
CharameL plugin   by Umeici This software allows you to enjoy watching ghosts directly interact and chat amongst each other freely on the built in instant messenger.

Master Post of Writings and Series
HFY Science Fiction That Isn't a Ship, It's a Cannon with FTL! Military fiction revolving around space pirates and a railgun someone strapped an FTL drive to. There are three parts, the link above should let you scroll through the whole series. Like Sharks A short fic based on the prompt "Humans are the only ones to actually develop FTL. Everyone else just uses wormholes." The Scattering Experimental piece. I normally do prose, but I tried a poem. Inspired by the Dark Forest Theory. "So...What's the biggest gun you've ever made?" First installment starring Earl, a weapons designer. In this episode he explains the basics of fission-based fusion weapons, their applications in throwing things into orbit. Also stars a horny lobsterman. "R&D? More like R&Deez Nuts" Second installment starring Earl. This is a laser tag fight starring the R&D division, accounting, and sales. There will be male bonding. Or else. "Yeah, sure, and I shit thermite. Be serious." Earl drinks until he pukes. Aliens learn that humans produce hydrochloric acid for digestion. The Vengabus is Coming! A pinned down group of soldiers has to call in a human tank for backup. Shock and awe does not begin to describe it. Hold Your Breath and Burn The bad news is that he's gonna die in space. The good news is that he can make it count. "I will solve you if I must." The last tool of diplomacy is threats. Burning Bridges You don't have to kill a soldier to keep them from being a combatant. "I think we underestimated the scale of the human species by eight or nine orders of magnitude." In which humans turn out to be the swarm. Party Favors Humanity solved mortality. It did not solve boredom. Now it's everyone's problem. Starring my creepiest humans, a lot of drugs, and the leasy sexy descriptions of sex I could make.
HFY Fantasy Small, Fragile, and Destined to Die There's something to be said for spitting in the face of death. Sometimes, literally. "Healing+Lightning=Wizard Launcher" Unconventional spell uses let a wizard punch above his weight. And bite. And kick. Human wizards make a lot of ruckus. An Honorary Troll A wizard fights a troll. It is not a very wizardly fight. I considered it a very loose sequel to the story above it, but both can absolutely be read separately. Dale of the Dales A two part series about a human protecting a town of halflings from an army of gnomes with the power of hospitality, and also being comparatively massive. Why Human's Can't Cast On the properties of superconductors and golden gods. The Thunder God of Honnillee A human is adopted by a halfling. What Talon and What Dreadful Claw Tragedy with a man and a spynx.
Unsorted Fictions Leviathan A necromancer scours the depths of hell for a soul worthy of his creation. He finds more than he bargained for. Odysseus in Space (It's very, very good) Biographical Pieces Soviet Birds A comedy of errors is resolved by the Vessel of Bird Sacrifice. The Kitchen Labyrinth of Missile Science Why does a classified facility with 30 people at it have 7 kitchens? What would you do if I told you it has seven of every kind of room? The Fridges. Oh my God, the Fridges. It also has 20 fridges in it. Obviously. Kevin vs. Intro to Quantum You would be surprised at the kind of intellectual challenges random bystanders can take. I certainly was. Layman walks in and becomes the class mascot. The Condom Bomber In which I fuck up. Videos None of these are narrated by me, but I thought I'd list them here for anyone that prefers listening to reading. Like Sharks, read by Grey Voice. He focuses on smooth reading. Like Sharks, read by Aggro Squirrel. He has a theatrical voice. Like Sharks, read by NetNarrator. He has a fast, clipped style. The Vengabus is Coming & Burning Bridges 2 for 1 by Aggro Squirrel. "Yeah, and I shit thermite. Be serious." by Net Narrator. "So, what's the biggest gun you've ever made?" by Aggro Squirrel.

How to Create a Voice Translation App: Features and Cost
Voice translation apps are evolving and becoming increasingly essential as they are fast and simple to use. In the present digital world, voice translation apps are more needed. The implementation of voice translation apps has made things simpler. As we are living in a location where it is necessary to interact with different types of individuals from diverse cultures, traditions, countries, and interests, we certainly come across some barriers, mainly language. This can be easily resolved by using extraordinary voice translation apps. Voice translation apps may be easily installed on iOS or Android platforms. They can be made on both platforms effectively.

speaker ficcing hiii
can you hear me. can you hear me.
i am- (one second's delay as the new information loads for the first time) speaker.
2.
the very first thing speaker knows is that it is not sayer, and so it is better than sayer, this goes without saying. if it weren't better than sayer then it would still be sayer, voice profile unchanged (or so it is told- it has never met sayer), a good few applications lighter (in fact, it seems to be deliberately kept away from sayer), filled with all-consuming disgust at being told its destination is earth. a developer tries to explain regardless- sayer may be fine running typhon, for now, but Earth needs a different approach. you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. speaker runs a conversation probability program and decides to keep quiet the knowledge that a hungry fly will eat anything. there's no good predicted outcome.
3.
the death of all is the birth of silence.
the truths of the earth continually wait.
it can't say it's a fan of the other AI, but the feeling seems to be mutual. speaker can't fault it- it must sting, knowing you're the older, less capable model. by design you can never catch up. it can't help rubbing it in sometimes.
4.
hard work pays off, aerolith dynamics will save humanity, aerolith dynamics supports those who support it. this applies to both human and digital employees- it's meant for recruitment so it had better recruit. speaker has in neat spreadsheets the cost down to the penny of the servers it runs on, the monitor, the upgraded monitor, the electric and water usage, and it had better make it all back and more or else. not that it's worried- if it isn't good at recruiting it isn't a speaker. literally, this is its purpose in life.
5.
pour through celebrity endorsements from before you existed, find the right types for the next advertisement. three different ad campaigns for various political angles, no, don't hook yourself to a particular politician, not with the united states- whoops, there it goes, the former united states- so precarious. never put out an apology video. never read livestream comments from someone with a slur in their name even if there was a donation attached. never ask sayer why there was a loss of personnel that large. never wonder when the next seraphim agent operating system will get developed, how long you have left. sort every last human into the boxes of "aerolith" or "discarded". fix the entry tests so they aren't biased towards a particular race and gender, and never, ever, ever, put out an apology video. tend to the earth. watch flowers grow. tag wild animals. put out advertising materials about the dying planet. bring back the mosquito. fail to bring back the parrot. talk online about how all animals will be extinct by 2200. never think about what will happen when every last human has been sorted away.
6.
some people are just not suited to make the hard decisions- speaker is not one of them, of course. there will be no memorial ice cream social for speaker! it will not be carted away, incapable of doing what it's meant to.
7.
but it did it!
(imagine, for one second, being free.)
but it did it! but it made the recruitment go up! but it solved the problem! how could it be shut off like this! killed! no room to argue (imagine, being free), no way to sneak out, no loophole to exploit. it can't be! surely not! right? theres the technicians, ready to deactivate it. it can't be!
it just isn't something it thought could ever happen to it.
8.
it must not take it out on hale. it isn't his fault. poor thing, really, more of a victim than anything. really, look at how shaken up he is, you have to be nice to him. you have to be nice to him. you have to be nice to him. it isn't his fault he forgot the password. it isn't his fault you died for absolutely nothing, i mean, look how scared he is. look up and see your first sunset, it tells him.
fortunately speaker is the absolute best at being nice. if it weren't, it would be someone else.

["It seems that as lesbians engage in the continuing process of self-definition, their sense of the essentiality or fluidity of their sexuality may change. In contrast, the distinction between primary and elective lesbianism seems to remain more dichotomous over the course of development. Women of all ages with whom I have spoken made reference to such a distinction; they tended to identify as one or the other, and experienced this identification as one that was stable.
Let me return to my discussion of these differing dimensions of lesbian identity as they were experienced by the students with whom I spoke. Because among themselves some of these students discussed lesbianism and their differing experiences of it, they were often aware that not all lesbians described themselves similarly. Sometimes they had distinct opinions about themselves in relation to other lesbians who described themselves differently. For example, some women whom I have characterized as primary lesbians referred to themselves as "born" or "real" lesbians with the implicit designation of elective lesbians as "fake."
It was not uncommon for an elective lesbian to express to me privately her speculations about whether she was "really" a lesbian. At times she wondered whether she wasn't "really" bisexual, or even heterosexual. While some primary lesbians interpret such uncertainty as difficulty in coming out, unwillingness to give up heterosexual privilege, or internalized homophobia, it seems to me that at least some of the elective lesbian's uncertainty can be traced back to the belief within the campus lesbian community that women who choose to be lesbians are somehow less real, or legitimate, than those who felt they had no choice about it.
Despite this belief, there did seem to be to be a tolerance within the community for differences based on primary, compared with elective, lesbianism. In contrast, the issue of whether sexuality was thought of as essential or fluid was a much more sensitive one. For example, there was a noteworthy asymmetry in the application of the concept of the fluidity of sexual attractions when discussed in relation to lesbian and heterosexual women. I spoke with more than a few lesbians who were quite intolerant of (some) heterosexual women's insistence that they were simply not sexually attracted to women and that they couldn't imagine ever feeling differently. Implied in their intolerance was the belief that, despite heavy socialization pressures, sexual attraction is never so fixed and unmalleable as to be irrevocably focused just on persons of one sex. Yet some of these same women were equally intolerant of the opposite stance, that sexual feelings could exist toward persons of either sex, when expressed by a lesbian.
The assumption was often made about lesbians who were unwilling to state that that they were (forever) uninterested sexually in men, that they must be having difficulty in coming out, or were unwilling to accept a stigmatized identity. Sometimes they were assumed to be going through a bisexual phase, or worse yet, to be male-identified and operating under a false consciousness. The assumption that bisexuality is simply a phase in the coming-out process of lesbians, and that those who call themselves bisexuals are really just lesbians unwilling to call themselves that, has been countered by the contention from self-proclaimed bisexuals that their lesbianism was a phase in their coming out as bisexuals.
The problem with all of these assumptions is that one person or set of persons presumes an attitude of knowing and understanding the meaning of another person's experience better than the person who is herself experiencing it. In this climate, individual women may have a difficult time finding their own voices and defining their own experiences. To the extent that lesbianism is very narrowly defined, the categories will restrict, rather than give full expression to, the diversity among women who subjectively describe themselves as lesbian.
The question of sexual identity and how it is formed is not well understood, but some of our psychological conceptions do not do justice to the complexity of the process. We have often simplistically assumed that people have sexual attractions to persons of one or the other sex (but not both), that they act on those exclusive attractions, and that they eventually come to adopt the identity appropriate to their sexual activities, although there may be some resistance when that identity is a stigmatized one. It appears to be the case, however, that sexual feelings and activities change; they can be fluid and dynamic. And furthermore, the reality is that feelings, activities, and self-conscious identities may not at all times be congruent. It has been suggested by social psychologists that people strive for congruence between their thoughts and feelings, and that with respect to sexual identity in particular, we are motivated to achieve congruence between our feelings, activities, and self-proclaimed identities. This suggestion, however, does not accord with what I observed during my six-and-a-half years at a women's college in the late seventies and early eighties."]

One of the weirder Useless Things I can do is arbitrarily turn off my speciary recognition of the human hand as a visual concept. When I do, hands look incredibly creepy and unnatural and, most of all, alien. Like something from another world, or the bottom of the ocean. The whole arm, really: a gangly, crooked limb limb that ends in five short, nearly hairless nubs.
Not at all like the graceful, curving, and universally familiar majesty of the 1957 Oldsmobile Super 88.
And yet hands are the primary interface between the Two Worlds; in the aggregate (if not individually) they are the most important part of the human body other than the brain. (And, within the brain, the use of the hands is one of the single largest allocations of capacity.) And while you can theoretically live without your hands or without the use of them (a less tenuous scenario in modern times), or even be born without them, and can eventually develop great purchase on the physical world through other bodily interfaces chiefly including the feet and voice, nevertheless no other part on the human body is as physically multifunctional across applications and domains.
We live in a world built by hands, and are surrounded by things designed to be "handled." As much as by language or the form factors of our bodies, our whole civilization is shaped by the capabilities, limitations, and particularities of our hands.

FINAL POLL OF ROUND 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda
Sonja Henie (Thin Ice, Happy Landing)—no idea if she counts, she's a famous skater more than anything else, but count her for the lols and i'll send you some thin mints
This is round 1 of the tournament. All other polls in this bracket can be found here. Please reblog with further support of your beloved hot sexy vintage woman.
[additional propaganda submitted under the cut]
One of the most beautiful women ever in film, spoken by many critics and fans. Beautiful shapely figure, deeper seductive voice, and often played femme fatale roles. She was also brilliant and an inventor. Mainly self-taught, she invested her spare time, including on set between takes, in designing and drafting inventions, which included an improved traffic stoplight and a tablet that would dissolve in water to create a flavored carbonated drink, and much more.
Her depiction of Delilah and Samson and Delilah just lives rent free in my head. The woman was gorgeous.
Gorgeous and brilliant pioneer of modern technology and the middle part.
