Almost a year after the Debate Club, we're happy to announce our latest contest - Welcome to ComboCon2024!

The contest involves combining two prompts, which will inspire your entry. Also, winners will be decided by nomination rather than votecount.

HOMESTUCK SHIPPING TOURNAMENT

From now to March 27th (two weeks) this form will be open to submit any homestuck ships that you ship! After the form ends, all ships submitted will be featured in a single-elimination bracket style tournament to decide the ultimate Homestuck OTP! Once the submission period ends, the results will be posted and there will be a vote on whether bracket placement should be totally randomly assigned or partially randomly assigned, placing ships with similar votecounts against each other.

Rules:

Rarepairs, crackships, polyamorous ships, all Homestuck ships are allowed, AS LONG AS all characters involved are from Homestuck (Beyond Canon/Epilogues included)!

You may submit as many ships as you'd like!

Its encouraged that you submit your favorite ships regardless of if you think they've already been submitted! The amount of submissions a certain ship gets may be important too!

Please don't submit the same ship multiple times!

Quadrants will not be included in the polls, meaning voting will just be on the ship itself, not just a specific quadrant of it!

The voteCount mapping stores the number of votes received by each candidate, with the candidate's name being the key. The contract exposes a vote function that allows users to cast their vote for a specific candidate by providing the candidate's name as an argument. The function verifies if the sender has not already voted before incrementing the vote count for the specified candidate and marking the sender as having voted. This smart contract enables transparent and immutable voting processes, where the votes are securely recorded on the blockchain and cannot be altered or tampered with. 2024 Election Results: Key Trends from Haryana and Historic Vote Count in Jammu & Kashmir

Vote counting is happening for the assembly elections in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir. In Haryana, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is hoping to win a third term. So far, the BJP is leading in 46 out of 90 seats, while Congress is ahead in 38. Exit polls suggest that Congress might win a clear majority.

In Jammu & Kashmir, this is the first assembly election in 10 years. The Congress and National Conference (NC) alliance is currently leading in 52 seats, which is more than the 46 needed for a majority. The BJP is leading in 22 seats.
