Who wants to hear about my hollow knight au? Good bc I’m gonna talk about it anyway

I’m calling it the “Of Gods and Void” au, and it’s set after the Embrace the Void ending, specifically the one with the delicate flower.

The Hollow Knight is freed, and Hornet has to deal with a complete mystery, along with a new sibling. She doesn’t know what happened, or why the Infection seems to be gone. She doesn’t know how to deal with THK. She doesn’t know how to be the sister they need. All she can do is look for clues while taking care of a very sick, very hurt sibling.

Then, weeks later, the Ghost of Hallownest stumbles into Dirtmouth, gravely injured and with no memory of the past several weeks.

They remember their purpose, and their past, but they don’t remember Godhome. It gets a migraine when anyone tries to ask it what happened, and it can no longer enter the Abyss. It blacks out when it tries, waking up back at the entrance.

On top of this, Ghost has new abilities that they don’t remember learning. The worst part of all of it is, the Void Sea is rising. Godseeker is missing, and the City of Tears will be in danger if the Void keeps rising at this rate. Hornet, Ghost, THK, and their friends will have to work together to unravel what happened, and why Ghost seems to be changing.

Oh yeah, and Quirrel lives. Woohoo!
