1. Focused Impact: By concentrating our streaming efforts on Season 2 exclusively, we maximize our collective impact. Netflix tracks metrics for each season separately, and we want to ensure our viewership numbers for Season 2 do the most to get us trending in the Netflix Top 10.

2. Data Speaks Volumes: Netflix values concrete data. Our concerted streaming efforts this week will communicate a clear and undeniable message to the platform that the Shadow and Bone community is a force to be reckoned with.

3. Viewer Engagement: High streaming numbers indicate engaged viewership, showing Netflix the depth of our commitment to the Grishaverse.

Whether you’re actively watching the show or streaming it in the background, make sure the volume is on (lowest setting or plugging in earphones works if you need quiet), and don’t skip through to your favorite parts. The show must be watched all the way through, from start to finish. Also, make sure you stream a short episode of a different show between rewatching the season so Netflix doesn’t think you’re a bot!

Join a Shadow and Bone fandom watch party!

If you were part of the fandom last summer, you might remember the Shadow and Bone watch parties that were a blast because everyone got to watch and chat about the episodes together. The reason we haven’t continued those is because we need everyone to be watching Shadow and Bone from their own Netflix accounts in order to boost our views. But guess what? We’ve finally found a solution that takes care of that issue!

Starting this week, we'll be hosting Shadow and Bone watch parties on Scener.com at two different times: 8:00 a.m. ET and 7:00 p.m. ET every Friday. This week, we’re watching Season 2!
