گرام کا حامل یہ عضوکئی افعال سرانجام دیتا ہے۔ اگر جگر کی حفاظت کی جائے تو یہ انسان کی حفاظت کر سکتا ہے یعنی انسانی جسم کو تندرست توانا رکھنے کے لئے جگر بنیادی اہمیت کا حامل ہے۔ معالج کی ہدایات کے بغیرادویات کا استعمال جگر کی سوزش کا باعث بنتا ہے۔ سکون آور ادویات اور اینٹی بائیوٹک کا بے جا استعمال بھی جگر کو خراب کر سکتا ہے یہ بیماری انڈیا، برما، افغانستان، الجیریا اور میکسیکو سمیت ان ملکوں میں زیادہ ہے جہاں حفظان صحت کا معیار ترقی یافتہ ممالک کے مقابلے کانہیں ہے۔ہیپاٹائٹس (بی) اور (سی) قلیل المیعاد بھی ہو سکتے ہیں مگر اکثر لوگوں میں طویل المیعاد کا باعث بنتے ہیں جو رفتہ رفتہ جگر کے سکڑنے کا باعث بنتا ہے ۔ پاکستان میں گزشتہ چند برسوں کے دوران اس کے پھیلنے کی شرح میں تیزی سے اضافہ دیکھنے میں آیا ہے۔ہیپاٹائٹس (بی) خودبخود ختم ہو جاتاہے کیونکہ بچوں میں تقریباً پانچ سے دس اور نوجوانوں میں نوے فیصد اپنی قوت مدافعت سے اس بیماری کو ختم کرنے میں کامیاب ہو جاتے ہیں۔کچھ لوگوں کو جگر کا کینسر بھی ہو سکتا ہے۔ہیپاٹائٹس (سی) عموماً خون کے راستے منتقل ہوتا ہے اس لئے انتقال خون سے خون کا ٹیسٹ انتہائی ضروری ہے۔ ضرورت کے وقت صرف صحت مند خون ہی لگوانا چاہئے۔ حجام کے اُسترے، بلیڈ، قینچی، بیوٹی پارلر کے اوزار اور ڈینٹسٹ کے اوزار اس انفیکشن کو پھیلانے کا سبب بنتے ہیں۔ مریض کے زیر استعمال اشیاء مثلاً برش، استرا، قینچی، کنگھی وغیرہ بھی اس مرض کو پھیلانے کا سبب بنتی ہیں۔۔ اس طرح ایک ہی سرنج سے بار با لوگوں کو ٹیکہ لگانے سے بھی دوسرے شخص کو وائرس منتقل ہو سکتا ہے۔ہپاٹائٹس (بی) کی ویکسین دستیاب ہے۔ پاکستان میں ہیپاٹائٹس (بی) کی شرح کافی کم بھی ہوئی ہے ۔اچھی ادویات کے استعمال سے ہیپاٹائٹس (بی) کے ساتھ ساتھ ہیپاٹائٹس (سی) کے کیسز بھی کافی حد تک کم ہوئے ہیں۔ اگر کسی کو یہ مرض لاحق ہو جاتا ہے تو اس کا بہترین علاج ادویات کا استعمال ہی ہے۔پوری دنیا میں انجکشن کی حوصلہ شکنی کی جاتی ہے جبکہ ہمارے ہاں گلی محلے میں بیٹھا ہر عطائی،حکیم لوگوں کو طاقت کے ٹیکے لگا رہا ہے۔ اس کی حوصلہ شکنی ضرور ہونی چاہئے۔ پانی ابال کر پینے، ہاتھ دھو کر کھانے سے بھی اس بیماری کے جراثیم سے کافی حد تک بچا جا سکتا ہے‘‘۔ انہوں نے کہا’’ہیپاٹائٹس (بی) ایک مہلک مرض ہے جو ایک خطرناک وائرس (HBV) کی وجہ سے لاحق ہوتا ہے۔یہ ایڈز کے مقابلے میں سو گنا زیادہ متعدی مرض ہے۔ ہیپاٹائٹس (بی) سے ہر سال دنیا میں دس سے بیس لاکھ اموات واقع ہوتی ہیں۔ ہیپاٹائٹس (بی) جراثیم آلود خون، آنسو، پسینے اور جسم کے رقیق مادوں کے ذریعے ایک سے دوسرے انسان میں منتقل ہو سکتے ہیں۔ پاکستان میں جگر کے سرطان میں مبتلا مریضوں میں اصل وجہ ہیپاٹائٹس (بی/ سی) ہے۔ دائمی ہیپاٹائٹس (بی) اور اس کے کیریئر کا اب تک کوئی علاج دریافت نہیں ہوا۔اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے بچوں کو ہیپاٹائٹس (بی) سے محفوظ رکھنے کیلئے حفاظتی ٹیکے لگوائیے۔ ہیپاٹائٹس اے اور ای کے وائرس آلودہ پانی یا جراثیم سے آلودہ اشیاء مثلاً فالودہ‘ گول گپے‘ سموسے‘ گنے کا رس‘ پھل وغیرہ کھانے سے جسم میں داخل ہوتے ہیں اور سیدھا جگر پر حملہ آور ہوتے ہیں۔ ہپاٹائٹس اے اور ای سے وقتی یرقان ہوتا ہے۔ اسلئے انہیں مہلک تصور نہیں کیا جاتا۔پانی سے ہونے والی بیماریاں ’’واٹر بورن‘‘ کہلاتی ہیں۔ ہیپاٹائٹس بی‘ سی اور ڈی وائرس کے جسم میں داخل ہونے کا بڑا ذریعہ خون ہے۔ لہٰذا یہ خون سے لگنے والی بیماریاں ’’بلڈ بورن‘‘ کہلاتی ہیں۔ ہیپاٹائٹس بی اور سی وائرس انسانی جسم کی رطوبتوں سے ایک دوسرے میں منتقل ہوتا ہے۔ ان رطوبتوں میں خون‘ تھوک اور جنسی اعضاء کی رطوبتیں شامل ہیں۔ہاتھ ملانے، گلے ملنے‘ کھانسنے اور بوسہ لینے سے یہ مرض نہیں پھیلتا ہے۔ ماں کے بچے کو دودھ پلانے سے غذا یا پانی سے اور عمومی تعلقات کی صورت میں مرض ایک دوسرے فرد میں منتقل نہیں ہوتا۔ ہیپاٹائٹس سی وائرس سے ہونے والا انفیکشن جگر میں مستقل سوزش کا سبب بنتا ہے۔ ہیپاٹائٹس بی کی عام علامات میں بھوک کا نہ لگنا‘ اسہال‘ تھکاوٹ کا احساس‘ جلد اور آنکھوں میں پیلاہٹ اور پٹھوں‘ جوڑوں اور معدے میں درد‘ معدہ ٹھیک نہ رہے‘ بخار محسوس ہو‘ قے‘ پیشاب کا پیلا آتا ہو تو ڈاکٹر سے رجوع کریں ۔ وہ بچے جو 18 سال سے کم عمر کے ہوں اور انہیں بچپن میں ہیپاٹائٹس بی سے بچائو کیلئے ٹیکے نہ لگے ہوں‘ انہیں بھی ہیپاٹائٹس ویکسین دی جا سکتی ہے۔ حفاظتی ٹیکوں کے بعد بخار یا جلد کا سرخ ہونا خطرے کی بات نہیں ہے‘ لیکن ویکسی نیشن کے بعد اگر سانس لینے میں دشواری ہو‘ دل کی دھڑکن بہت تیز ہو یا پھر بہت کم ہو اور بہت زیادہ کمزوری کا احساس ہو تو فوراً ڈاکٹر سے رجوع کرنا ضروری ہے۔ہیپاٹائٹس سی آپ کے جگر کی کارکردگی کو روک دیتا ہے اگر ایسا ہو جائے تو آپ کو نئے جگر کی ضرورت ہو گی۔واٹر سرچ کونسل کی رپورٹ کے مطابق ملک کے 23 بڑے شہروں میں پینے کے پانی میں بکٹیریا‘ آرسینک‘ مٹی اور فضلے کی آمیزش پائی گئی ہے۔ پاکستان میڈیکل ہیلتھ ایسوسی ایشن کے مطابق ملک میں 90 فیصد بیماریوں کی ہو سکتا ہے۔ جگر کی بیماریاں ہیپاٹائٹس سی کی وجہ سے پیدا ہو رہی ہیں۔ کوئی گھر ایسا نہیں ہے جن میں ہیپاٹائٹس سی اور بی کا مریض نہ ہو۔جگر میں جلن محسوس ہونا‘ قے متلی آنا، پیٹ کے اوپری حصے میں درد وغیرہ ہیپاٹائٹس سی کی بڑی علامات ہیں۔ہیپاٹائٹس کی اقسام اے‘ بی‘ سی‘ ڈی اور ای میں سے بی اور سی انتہائی مہلک ہیں۔ہر بیماری کے علاج کیلئے گولیاں موجود ہیں۔ جناح ہسپتال لاہور میں ہیپاٹائٹس بی کے حفاظتی ٹیکے نوجوانی میں شوگرکا مرض ہوتاہے مثلاً پانچ سالہ یا دس سالہ ، پندرہ سالہ بچے کو شوگرہوجائے تو ان میں چار نمایاں علامات پیاس زیادہ لگنا، پیشاب زیادہ آنا، بھوک زیادہ لگنا اور وزن کم ہونا ہیں ۔اس کے علاوہ عام اور زیادہ عمرکے لوگوں میں شوگرکی یہ علامات نہیں ہوتیں۔ ان میں شوگرکے مریض کا وزن بڑھ رہا ہوتا ہے اور اس کے ساتھ ساتھ شوگرکے مرض کی پیچیدگیاں شروع ہوچکی ہوتی ہیں ۔ عموماً جن لوگوں کو چالیس پچاس برس عمرمیں شوگرہوجاتی ہے ۔ ان میں ہاتھ پاؤں کا سوج جانا، سن ہونا، ٹانگوں اور پیروں پر زخم بن جانا، فالج ہوجانا جیسی علامات پائی جاتی ہیں ۔ان مریضوں کو عام طور پر زیادہ پیشاب نہیں آتا اورنہ زیادہ پیاس لگتی‘‘۔ انہوں نے کہا’’ لبلبہ کا کام انسولین بنانا اور یہ انسولین جسم میں شوگرکو کنٹرول کرتی ہے۔ جس مریض میں لبلبہ ٹھیک کام نہ کررہا ہو، اس کا مطلب ہے اس کا لبلبہ انسولین ٹھیک نہیں بنارہا ہے تواس کو شوگرکی بیماری ہوجاتی ۔ بچپن میں ہونے والی شوگر میں لبلبہ بالکل کام نہیں کرتا ، لیکن زیادہ عمرکے شوگرکے مریضوں کا لبلبہ کام کررہا ہوتا ہے لیکن اس سے جتنی انسولین بن رہی ہوتی ہے وہ اثر نہیں کررہی ہوتی ہے۔ ایسے مریضوں کو ایسی دوائیاں دیتے ہیں جن سے مریض کا وزن کم ہو اور ان کے لبلبہ سے پیدا ہونے والی انسولین بہترکام کرنا شروع کردے۔ Awareness of anything prevents man from many troubles and
