He is unable to get medication, and medical attention that he desperately needs. He has nowhere to go, nowhere to refrigerate his insulin. His legs are swollen and blistered with open sores from untreated infection and Lymphedema. He is a cancer survivor and this is how he is treated. This is no second chance at life.
THIS IS A CALL FOR MUTUAL AID TO SUPPORT PALESTINIANS TRYING TO FLEE GAZA.
From helpcatsmallam on x.com, cat rescuers from Gaza who are trying to flee to safety through the Rafah crossing into Egypt. Organised by Mohammad Sallam, a wonderful man who has been running a cat shelter for around 5 years.
My partner and I are still homeless and we've been struggling for some time to meet our basic needs. We've been going hungry much more often and we keep losing shelter when we need it most. It's been raining a lot lately and my bronchitis has progressed to pneumonia with no sign of recovery yet so having a place to rest is super important right now. Any help we can get covering food, supplies, bills, and shelter in a motel room is greatly appreciated.
On a brighter note, our 20th anniversary is this month and, on April 12th, we will be getting married. It's a simple courthouse marriage for now, but that doesn't make it any less special to us. Please join us in hoping for the best going forward!

(Please no hate and no unsolicited advice. I can't deal with it right now and you will be blocked. Well wishes are welcome.)
just got kicked out of the best panhandling spot i've ever had by the mcdonalds management due to a customer complaint. all i got today so far is one dollar.
a dozen people are kind and generous to me every day, and it takes just one asshole to ruin the whole thing.
i'm so tired of moving around and avoiding the wave of stigma and hatred against homeless people. i'm just trying to survive out here, man. cops and other homeless people drove me out of the previous spot, and now i don't know where i'm gonna go.
i'm gonna have to spend the day driving around and finding a new spot to sleep and get my cash, but first i need some gas. the prices went up 10 cents recently too.
i'm sorry to ask again, but if you want to support me through this and are able to, please consider donating to my ko-fi. i would greatly appreciate it as it's all i have for today and until i find another option.
I'm a disabled trans woman. My dad is temporarily unable to work and so my mom is our family's only breadwinner.
And her employer just stole her entire last paycheck. Also the bonus for working over entire Christmas without ever seeing her family, as if it wasn't evil enough.
We have no money left to survive - we have like 5usd left in in account. We're currently eating groats and beans that we had in our pantry, but that won't last long.
Literally anything you can - even 1 dollar - would help so we have some money for groceries.
