//well I do have preferences as I've been writing with most of my mutuals for years now, the other part being new ones that I decided to stop being shy and reach out for writing/plotting.

Also I try to be up to date with any new rp blog that reaches other friends of mine and check them out myself later. Now, if you asking about the relatively new rp blog around, I did interact w/ them a little bit before and they seem to be new and all. I will not say my full opinion because I feel like you're trying to get something out of me, and I don't always have the time to check on everyone y'know. I'm quite selective on that because I have little time to be here and my brain sometimes either focus on one specific thing or cant focus at all.

Thing is, if I had something against the mun, I'd tell them already in private and discuss the latter in DMs. I'm not the type to overshare my opinions on others out of the blue in public just to cause drama is a big no no. Sorry.

P.S.: that doesn't mean I don't give compliments though. That's a whole other story. But if it eases you out, I rarely get mad at someone or overall start to hate them, it just takes some time to interact with every single mutual I have and form my own likings and thoughts.

Honestly I pity this person. I can only imagine the deep gaping pit of insecurity all this misdirected anger is coming from, which presumably is why by their own admission they're a fan of my fics and were consuming yandere content in the first place. Honey look in the mirror before you come to me

Also lmao I literally had to get off work before I even checked my asks so like. Is this supposed to ruin my life or something. I'm a functional member of society with a job. I remember when I was internet beefing with someone in the past --as a minor mind you, which may be where this person's irrationality is coming from; being a stupid keyboard warrior of a kid-- and I would beef over anon with a couple of people. And I obsessed over it, checking their blogs over and over because I just HAD to see their response

And now someone is doing it to me and I know first hand the level of obsession and pure boredom with life that takes. I know for a definitive fact that this person is so fucking miserable they legitimately have nothing better to do, because if this was actually about whatever morals they're trying to debate, they'd be doing it publicly to show what a great upstanding citizen they are

I was surprised by your post about validating all expressions of bisexuality and how vehemently you supported it when just a few posts later your reblogged without remark a post that doesn't take Parker at her word when expresses her bisexuality. As a bisexual woman reading that "well maybe she means it but here are multiple options for how it's just Parker being wacky" attitude is infuriating. So maybe you're the one who should examine yourself.

what on earth? i had to scroll back and review and wow, cool, that’s definitely one way you can interpret what that post was saying but that sure as hell isn’t how i read it.

Eliot and Hardison have a little of the “hurr-durr sexy con lady” gross faze, but Parker really turns that on them by being so delightfully herself (I can never decide if Parker is 1. Actually in to Tara and doesn’t realize it’ll be weird to say that 2. Is just mimicking E&H for the comedy, fully understanding the confusion she causes or 3. Mimicking E&H just because)

literally all i’m reading here is someone hypothesizing whether this character who is not stated as bi in canon might have definitely been doing this particular moment in a sincere way that then lends to interpreting parker as actually bisexual and actually into tara, or it might have been meant/read in this way, or this way instead.

it’s literally just acknowledging that we don’t have This Is Canon about it and it’s entirely possible to read that as parker expressing herself in a way totally interpretable as her being bi and maybe not even realizing she’s feeling legit attraction, but it’s also possible to read it differently.

you need to chill out and understand that theorizing about whether we can interpret a fictional character’s actions as being an expression of her being bi but also it might not be that as equivalent to dismissing, minimizing, stereotyping, and maligning actual expressions of actual people who tell you they are bi and then act however they act (which doesn’t invalidate them being bi.)

and please, someone who isn’t trying to “oooh, you problematic hypocrite” yell at me on anon, if there is some shit i am missing or in my constant haze of tiredness legit misunderstanding in my reading here, hit me up, i’m open to being corrected and admitting to fucking up.

So some peeps have been getting on @vindictive-little-shit about using art produced during the Sketchy Saturday event, and come running to me going SO AND SO IS POSTING YOUR ART WITHOUT PERMISSION OR CREDIT!!!! And expect me to post it cause they're grayfaced, and they only way to respond is to post it publicly.

This is rude. This is rude as hell.

I get that you're worried about art theft and credit, but coming into ask boxes under the nonnie face with accusations and assumptions is rude. It gets folks riled up for no reason, and it puts whomever you are talking to in a defensive position where they are forced to explain what actually happened, contrasted with your SHORT, QUIPPY, and WRONG soundbite.

So, since this seems to be a thing in the Fallout circles, lets have us a quick tutorial on what to do if you suspect someone of art theft, or as I call it...

Loor's Guide on how Not to be a Fandom Policing Shithead

Step one: DON'T GO ON ANON. Going on anon forces public responses for something that generally can and should be resolved in private. If you have a genuine concern, you should not be afraid to appear with your own fricking face. Better yet, hit the IM. Its fast and easy and only bugs out once in a while.

Step two: Talk to the artist, first. Don't fucking get on the poster's ass, you're gonna make them feel like they got pulled over by the fandom Secret Police and drive the joy out of the relationship they have with the artist. Scaring people outta posting is how we kill communities. Fuck off with this. Come talk to the source of the work, they know who they did or did not give permission to.

Step three: Alert, don't accuse.

DON'T: OMG SO AND SO IS POSTING YOUR ART WITHOUT CREDIT AND SOME PEOPLE THINK ITS THEIRSSSSS

DO: Hey, it looks like this user posted some of your work. Do they have permission from you? I didn't see a watermark so I was worried.

Ask questions. Don't force the artist, whom you're (I assume) trying to help to play defense. Again, there's that sense of getting pulled over by the Fandom Police, and shit that beats the joy out of fandom is what kills communities. Do not raise the social cost of joy when you only suspect harm has been done.

Step four: Respect the people involved

We have offline lives. Don't spam just cause you didn't get a response right away. Some of us live in weird timezones, or had a date, or needed a nap. Wait a day. If no response, try again and say 'Hey I think Tumblr ate my message, I wanted to bring this to your attention.'

Step five: Leave the poster alone until you have the facts. Period.

It’s also okay to feel upset at shitty dumb anon messages tho. I definitely do, and it’s why I turned anon off like two years ago, and honestly it’s the best decision I ever made. I no longer feel a spike of fear when I see I got a new ask because at least if it’s someone who’s come to say mean things about me, it’s someone who’s wearing their own face, and then I can say “Who the FUCK are you?” and block them. Or if I think their point is legitimate then I can engage with them because I know who they are and we can have a discussion and hopefully at least one of us grows from the experience.

I almost never got anon hate before but one day I got really weird anon hate and then the next day I got another really weird anon ask that upped the ante SIGNIFICANTLY and I was like “Idk what’s going on here but I’m not into it tbh” and I just disabled anon.

I don’t really understand why people who continually get hateful anonymous messages leave that feature enabled on their blog but maybe those people truly do have a thicker skin than I do and aren’t just pretending not to be hurt by them.

A few months ago I had to unfollow someone I’d followed for a long time because they kept posting and responding to nasty really transphobic anon messages and it greatly upset ME to see those on my dash without warning all the time, so I sent them an (anon, which I realize is ironic and possibly the wrong move) ask which was like “Hey maybe if you disabled anon you would stop getting horrible messages all the time” and they basically told me to go fuck myself and that the timing of my ask (after they had spent like, the whole day posting hateful anons they’d gotten) was suspicious and that I was a loser concern troll so I was like Ok then! and unfollowed them and tbh I don’t know if it’s a testament to my lack of social skills or not but I STILL do not understand why they got so angry at me. (This is not the first time that I’ve messaged someone I’d followed for a while exactly 1 time and sent what I thought was an innocuous message and they got pissed at me. A few years ago I sent someone an ask or maybe just added something to their post, and it was someone I admired and had followed for a while, and they sent me an ask that was like “Unfollow me. Now.” and I was SUPER gobsmacked because I had no idea what issue they were taking with my comment)

I really was just trying to help! A lot of people don’t feel like they’re Allowed to turn anon off but you really just gotta weigh the pros and cons sometime! Free yourself from the tyranny of grayfaces!

It’s not quite niceness even it’s just the assumed familiarity y know? And the persistent refusal to identify self even after being asked repeatedly which read kinda like those times you ask someone to explain a joke bc you don’t get it and they refuse to :( 

I get it, tho – keeping up coy vagueness for the joekese:tm: is a pretty common thing to do. Societally we’re encouraged to value the integrity of a joke probably more than we should, same way as we’re encouraged to maintain arbitrary standards of politeness

Plus, online anonymity is weird and hard, and parasocial relationships are easier thn ever with it – it’s easy to forget what things look like from the other end when you’re on anon etc. 

As to my taking care of myself: it’s cool to be worried, but again, since you are still (as you haven’t identified yourself as anyone I know nor do I have a reason to believe you are) an internet stranger it’s. Frankly, not your business :| I don’t mean to sound rude or even like, offended here, it’s just. Not rlly somethin that involves you bc again I don’t know you and have no reason to suspect you know me outside of following my funney blog where I scream sometimes :< It’s really not needed and semi invasive when coming from anonymous grayfaces – I appreciate the sentiment, and the concern, tho!!

Huh. That was...really weird. Peering out from behind the tree, Toon Link releases the breath he didn't realize he'd been holding, watching as the anons' backs disappear around a corner. I continue to have too many thoughts about Riverdale and got tired of being a grayface anon ask or rambling in AO3 comments on other people's work, so -- here we go, I guess? Mostly a handle to interact with fandom and to appreciate other people's (thoughtful, skillful, hilarious) writing and commentary. Occasionally my own thoughts and content. There was probably a joke in there somewhere, but Tsubasa couldn’t find it. She just stared at the grayface incredulously. And then Seiji just happened to walk by. Oh, sweet relief!

“Tsubasa, are those grayfaces bothering you again?” he asked, giving the anon a disapproving look. Tsubasa promptly inched closer to her boyfriend, simply nodding her head. “Come on, let’s go.”

A magic anon is here with a pretty pink fairy wand to BAP narc on the head. I do decree an MA for Narcissus in which he can feel actual emotions for as long as the mun wants!

 He had tried to lock the door behind him, but the grayfaces didn’t care about locks, now did they? Narcissus should have known better. At first, he paid the odd creature no mind, instead focusing on the teenager bawling their eyes out on the bed. Shivering, screaming like that into the pillows...but they’d been fine just a couple of minutes ago. He didn’t really care that they were obviously suffering.

 He cared more about the woman that’d overheard them and what she would think -and how easy it would be to ruin his reputation with rumors after that incident. He really hated having to deal with the press but at the same time his job was easy money. And this kid kept insisting on ruining his safety. It didn’t exactly anger him, but he understood that he’d have to teach them a lesson.

 The ‘bap’ came as he was already stepping towards the bed, eyes fixed on Steel that was trying to curl up into the mattress -and disappear in it if possible. Their crying was devastating, it was pure screaming at this point as if someone was causing them immense pain. But no one was touching them. Narci couldn’t understand that, but he decided to give them a good reason to scream.

 Though just as that wand touched him, his condition suddenly changed. Normally, he would only think a punishment was appropriate. But suddenly...he was convinced. Suddenly, he was...

...He was angry.

 Really angry.

 Actually angry.

 It scared him for a second and fear reigned instead. But that faded back to anger pretty fast. He just wanted to make that stupid kid shut up now. So stupid, so defenseless too. Something tickled him to do it; his hand extended into a vine, with thin and sharp tips hanging from it.

 A whip.

 And he drew his arm back to lash at them.

  The first one was strong. It was fueled by this new odd state of being. Steel screamed so hard that he could hear their ravaged vocal chords straining and breaking. They started to cough and tried to drag themself out of the matress in shock and fear. But in Narci’s eyes...that just made it feel better. The image of them crawling around defenseless and trying to escape...it was causing something really weird in his chest.

 Ecstasy. Pure ecstasy. He wanted more.

 And he started to laugh when he realized how easy it would be to get it.
