Another subtle manipulation by the Doctor toward Belinda (and us) -- immediately calling her Bel. A nickname meant to make him feel closer to her than he actually is. Meant to make them feel connected. And I fell for it at first! I got distracted by the fact that it is an undeniably cute nickname! But in an episode where this woman's full name is used so prominently in a way she doesn't want, and she clarifies several times how she wants to be called - drop the Miss, it's not Linda it's Belinda, etc. - wow. He really is part of the problem. I dont even know how consciously he's doing it. But girl don't let him off the hook for a second you are Belinda!!

my one season 4 complaint is Where The Fuck Was Aneesa
#never have i ever#i really wish her and fabiola had stayed together them not working out didn't rlly serve any purpose to the plot for the new season#fabiola's new relationship was barely rlaborated upon. as expected.#and aneesa was basically written out she was barely even part of the group#plus that scene of them at the staircase talking about fab's robotics team. they still have so much chemistry and they were literally just#talking about robotics#i understand she's not a major character and she can't have a separate plotline to herself but she wasn't even involved in anyone else's#her and fabiola were cute together and she would've at least been part of the plot if they were still dating#allison was barely a character what was the point of writing some random new partner for fabiola when she already had a perfectly good#love interest#it just doesn't make sense to me. whi decided it would be a good idea for them to break up#was it just an opportunity to shove in a nonbinary character who had no personality and was just there as someone's s/o and call it#representation#cause there are Many better ways to have nonbinary rep than this#but ofc mindy kaling wouldn't give a shit about this.#n e ways for this support my nonbinary aneesa hc . it's real.#fabiola torres#aneesa qureshi#OR AT THE VERY LEAST SHE SHOULD'VE GOTTEN WITH PAXTON. I watched Avengers: Age of Ultron (apart from I skipped some overly long action sequences) and I am not sure so can someone tell me whether or not Tony Stark was the baddy in that film? Because about halfway through I was sure he was but then it was maybe just an evil robot after all and I am confused because either this film was surprisingly subversive or it was about robots hitting each other.
#I CANT STAND THE CONFUSION IN MY MIND#also i get why people wrote wanda/sylvie. they should go on a wholesome chick-flick revenge-quest together. and also they should kiss.#also i am now only *half* joking about thor being in love with mjolnir#it kept doing Christianity Bits which was quite awks.#not sure why it used the bit about building the church on a rock for some metal i mean wasn't jesus making a pun there? about peter?#i think Vision might be Jesus? or else he's Dr Manhattan who's done a first year philosophy course. could go either way on that tbh.#BUT TONY WAS THE BADDY RIGHT? #in the happiest relationship of my life and yet i am so very lonely!!!#not from him or bc of him just like. i miss having friends i wish i could combine my life w my fiance now#and my friendships from like three or four years ago or whatever#everything just feels so daunting#idk. i don't feel like i'm any different but maybe i am#life is all about growing and changing but no one said anything about how lonely it can be#like i'm looking at houses and planning a wedding in two yrs and my career movements and kids and all of this#trying to get this stray dog on my street to trust us and cultivating what i have in my apartment and budgeting#my step dad took a fall and he can't really walk anymore and im taking a whole week off just to clear my mom's house out#so that we can set a bed up for him downstairs until he can retire and they can move somewhere else#like i'm trying to figure all of this out and i am but it feels like i'm shedding who i used to be to do it#and i wish i could just have both of those exist. i wish i could stay who i was five years ago and be who i am now#and i have lexi she gets it because she's married with kids now#and emma and i have a set day to call every week but every time we call i just miss her so much#and my sister moved to another state to be with her girlfriend and i'm just here.#i miss being goofy with friends i feel too serious and preoccupied now#i just can't find a way to balance no one taught me how to balance#talking to people now make me feel like a creaky little robot. i don't know how to just BE anymore#i can with hunter and he's my best friend but him and i have talked about it and we agree that it's not the same#as just having friends that you can shoot the shit with!!!!!!#why is it so much easier to talk to my 75 year old neighbor and his wife and help them with yard work without never having met them before#than it is just to talk to people i have known and loved for years#i can go days or weeks without talking to friends that i don't physically see at work now#what is it about having undealt with abandonment issues that makes you close yourself off. those are incompatible ideas lol#it feels like i'm a stranger in my own life#i think the answer here is to just take a fat edible and then move AWN#tate.txt.#i'm avoiding reading back what i just typed LOL
