SUMMARY: Is it remotely possible to have a successful professional life and a fulfilling personal life?
THIS SHOW HAS EVERYTHING: Nice apartments, wedding dresses, bold chaebols, servitude for survival, childish parents, professional growth, puppy love, true selves, double lives, stylish winter coats, hot Americanos, height differences, product samples, and long-distance longing.
HOT TAKE: First off, the title of this show is upsettingly confusing to me since every woman in this show KNOWS about the crises happening around her. Communication is actually refreshingly great, so even after finishing it I have no idea who 'never knew.'
Although Rowoon gets to really shine here since his character is a little serious, a little silly, and a whole lot of 'green flag,' he can't help the painfully slow-pace of the plot or the sudden ep 15 plot flip. Why wait so long to introduce a conflict, writers?
I'm rewatching this drama right now and let me tell you something the first time i saw this episode it was my favorite one ( 3-4 ) and this time too. Nothing can replace this scene for me.
It's such a beautiful romantic drama with many sad episode. It has the same vibe as "Now We Are Breacking Up"
Following the structure of Love Actually but using quintessential korean elements, A Year End Medley follows a group of people learning to live through heartbreak and disappointment, first love and second chances, and figuring out the best way to support your friends.
This film knows what it is and doesn't try to be anything else. The director fully understand what needs to be done to get the viewer invested in every storyline. That's a difficult task when you have a cast as big and star-studded as this one, where everyone is bringing their A+ game. Even the random 30 second cameos that you don't expect are really fun to watch.
The music is fun and catchy, making you feel at ease and immediately in the happy holidays mood.
I really liked this film. It left me a big smile and a feel good warmth when it ended. I recommend it.
Just finished watching If You Wish Upon Me, starring Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sooyoung, Sung Dong-il, Nam Tae Hoon, Won Ji Ah, and many more excellent young and veteran actors and actresses. It’s not an easy watch as the topics the drama tackles are heart-wrenching. Nevertheless, it it worthwhile… the drama is full of empathy and even though sometimes it portrays the end-of-life moments through optimistic lenses, it also delivers comfort. Ji Chang Wook is excellent as always. He has a wide range of acting skills and is quite believable as a gangster, a wish granting genie, and a tender boyfriend. Team Genie is a real delight.
just me going crazy over life (2018)’s couple gu seung hyo and lee no eul. I love how the drama portrayed the attraction between them. the results of his reforms appealed to her ideals (even if his intentions were “crooked”) and she caught his attention by being nice to him (and trying to lead him to the “good side”) in a place were everyone was hostile to him. from then on, try as they may, they could not escape each other. they went from being workplace crushes to undeniable long term partners. I would say there is not much visual chemistry, but their actions are so in sync with each other, they just scream husband-wife vibes.
Vovó disse uma vez: viver é uma repetição de arrependimentos e fracassos. E eu perguntei: então qual o objetivo de viver? Ela respondeu: Para cometer ainda mais arrependimentos e fracassos, então não seja um gato assustado!
to the 3 or so ppl watching Unicorn (2022), has anyone found good eng subs for the last 4 eps ㅠㅠ my usual site only has chinese subs for some reason ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
Se vi piacciono le commedie sentimentali, se vi piace Ji Chang Wook e la sua capacità di far perdere battiti del cuore con i suoi sguardi, non potete perderlo.
