Overprotective Dad
Pairing: Carlos Sainz x reader (y/n)
Warnings: google translate spanish..
Girl Dad Carlos series continues, enjoy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Carlos, Charles and Pierre participated in the World Stars Football match. It was a charity football match and it was happening tonight so you and your now three year old daughter Bea decided to go with Carlos and cheer for him.
It was no secret that Carlos loved football and is an avid fan of Real Madrid, so the fact that his wife and daughter will be watching him play tonight made him all too excited.
"Están mis niñas listas?" Carlos asks entering Bea's room where the two of you were getting her ready. (Are my girls ready?)
"All done! Go show daddy what you're wearing." You say as you tighten the red ribbon on her tiny curly ponytail and put her down from your lap. Bea excitedly runs towards Carlos and spins around in front of him showing him the small grey Ferrari sweatshirt that had Sainz written in big red letters on the back and number 55 on the front in the right top corner of the sweatshirt.
"Wow, mi amor, eres hermosa." Carlos says picking her up in his arms and kissing her chubby cheek that was blushing. Bea was a truly girly little girl and she loved compliments and attention especially from Carlos. And Carlos being the best girl dad in the world loved spoiling her. "What does it say on your back?" He asks her.
"Sainz" You whisper to remind her.
"Sainz" And she repeats after you.
"Are you gonna cheer for papa tonight?"
"Yes!!" She screams clapping her hands.
"Did you show him you hair?" You ask stepping closer to them and fixing the ribbon on her hair.
"Let me see." She quickly turns her head and reaches for her ponytail for him to see. "Ayy, maravillosa!" (Gorgeous!)
You put on your long trench coat and high heel boots and Carlos took his backpack and Bea into his arms. Soon you were out the door on your way to the stadium. Since it was big event with a lot of famous athletes, there was a ton of reporters impatiently waiting for them to arrive.
As soon as you saw it, mild anxiety washed over you. You got used to it by now, but you didn't like them taking pictures of Bea. So far you have successfully kept your three-year-old out of the media eye. It's not that you were hiding her, but you didn't like them sharing pictures of her all over the internet.
Besides, as much as Bea is an extrovert and loves attention, she's still just a little kid who gets terrified of a crowd of strangers shouting in her face. And that's exactly what happened this time.
As soon as you got out of the car they spotted you and the camera flashes went off like crazy. You took a deep breath opening the back door of the car to get Bea out of her seat. Carlos stood behind you with the backpack in his hand and held the door of the car open.
"Come here, baby" You say unbuckling her belt as she stretched her arms towards you. Bea already noticed from the car that something was happening outside. They were calling for you shouting your names out loud and she was very confused about who these people are and how do they know her name.
You positioned her on your hip and tightly wrapped your arms around her. At first her big brown eyes widened watching all those people standing in your way as you started walking towards the stadium. Carlos had his arm around you as you walked close to him, but you were struggling because it was hard to see clearly from the flashes and in addition to all that, you were wearing high heel boots and holding your child.
"Mama.." You could hear Bea's heart pounding against your chest and it didn't take long for her to burst into tears. It all became too much for her.
"Baby, it's okay shh.." You tried, but it didn't help and you completely understood why. "Oh my God, I'm gonna trip and fall"
"Give me her" Carlos slung his backpack over his shoulder and stopped walking for a second to take her from your arms into his.
"Are you okay? Hold on to me." He asked you and you quickly gave him a nod. She hid her face into his neck and you held on to his arm as you started walking again.
You could feel Carlos slowly starting to fume with anger because they scared and made his little girl cry, and she was so excited to come here and watch her daddy play. You tightened your grip on him trying to calm him down, but once one of them tried to shove their camera into her face, Carlos was about to lose it. He was not having any of that.
"Do that one more time and I'll smash the fucking camera against your head you fucking piece of shit" He stopped in tracks, his brown eyes darkened. If he hadn't been holding Bea, he would have punched him for sure.
"Carlos, no please" You said pulling him away.
When you finally managed to make your way through the crowd and reach the inside of the stadium you ran into Charles.
"The Sainz family!" Charles yelled smiling, but he quickly noticed something was wrong.
"Just give us a second please." Carlos said to him as you two stood to the side to calm Bea down. "Bebe, it's okay, you're safe, daddy wouldn't let anything happen to you" He said softly wiping her tears away and placing a kiss on her cheek. After a few minutes of comforting, the tears dried up and the sweet smile returned to her face.
"Papi no nos dejes" She said quietly playing with the collar of his t-shirt. (Daddy, don't leave us)
"No bebe, tu y mami vendrán conmigo. Vas a apoyar a papá, sí?" Carlos said tickling her tummy making her laugh and nod in agreement. (No baby, you and mommy will come with me. You're going to cheer for dad, okay?)
"We'll be daddy's loudest cheerleaders, okay?" You said gently pinching her cheek.
"Y más hermosas" (and the most beautiful)

Pay Attention To Me | Leah Williamson x Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis: do you know what's worse than dating a football player? dating a football fan.
warnings: brief mention of sex
wc: 2.5k words
Sometimes you wonder to yourself what possessed you to date a footballer. You weren’t athletic or sporty, and unlike your athlete brothers, you didn’t enjoy any sport enough to stick to it. Your only means of exercise was pilates and the occasional trip to the beach in your cute bikini.
So how did you end up dating a professional footballer?
You found yourself thinking about that question as you sit curled up on one end of the leather sofa browsing the Chanel website on your laptop. On the other end of the sofa, with her legs sprawled out and a beer bottle in one hand, sat your girlfriend. Leah was dressed in a grey hoodie and matching grey joggers; her hair was down, which was a rarity these days due to the heat, streaks of light blonde strands framing her pretty face. From your place on the sofa, you are granted the most breathtaking view of the ocean thanks to the expansive glass walls. The horizon stretches as far as the eye can see; the sky painted in hues of orange, pink, and purple. As the sun begins to set, it casts a golden glow over the water, making the waves glimmer and sparkle.
The villa was gorgeous, and exactly like how the pictures showed it to be. You had chosen the place yourself, tempted by the promises of walking out onto the deck and being able to jump into crystal clear waters. The spacious overwater bungalow features polished wooden floors, high vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, and furnishings in soft, neutral tones complemented by cool-tone vibrant accents. When you showed pictures of the villa to your girlfriend, she took once glance at it and handed you her gold amex card. She didn’t even ask you for the price.
Back to your own question earlier, the short answer was that Leah was attractive as hell. She was also everything you could ask for in a partner. She's got a cracking sense of humour, she's passionate about her job, family-orientated, and it didn’t hurt that she was the most gorgeous woman you had ever laid eyes on. She made sure to spend as much time with you around her busy schedule. She accepted that you were high-matainance, and gladly indulged you. Leah was the whole package. Sometimes as you lay in bed, when the night is still and quiet, you would take a moment to thank your lucky stars that she walked into your life.
However, no one in this world is perfect– even someone like Leah Williamson.
Your girlfriend’s biggest flaw was that she is a football player–and by extension– that meant she was a football fan.
And that was the problem.
Today was the 2024 Euros final. England somehow managed to slither their way to the tournament final and will be facing Spain to compete for the title of Champions of Europe 2024. The original plan was to head over to the Williamson’s house so everyone could watch the game together. However, your birthday happened to fall in the week leading up to the final. As a birthday gift from your very generous girlfriend, Leah had surprised you with a week-long trip to the Maldives. Her only condition was that she gets to watch the Euros final at the villa
Uninterrupted.
And being the good girlfriend that you are, you were more than happy to compromise. That is until you realise that Leah has pretty much ignored you the entire day.
Well– maybe ignore is the wrong term. She was acting the same this morning– ordering a breakfast spread fit for champions by the time you woke up, booking a luxury spa treatment for the both of you at the resort, and even letting you run wild with her card at the nearby mall where there’s a strip of high-end stores with names like Cartier, Vacheron Constantin, and Dior. You came strutting back to the villa in your new pair of Jimmy Choo kitten heels, while Leah trails behind you, her arms full of shopping bags– all of them belonging to you.
However, you were what other people would call clingy. You craved attention and affection more than the usual person. Physical touch was your love language, and most of the time, your girlfriend was more than happy to meet your needs.
But not today it seems.
She was far too busy watching a bunch of men on telly chase a ball around a field of freshly cut grass to pay enough attention to you.
Finally getting board of looking at bags and shoes on your laptop, you shut it down and put it aside. Stretching one leg over the length of the cream white sofa, you nudge Leah with your foot. “Lee…”
Without even moving her eyes away from the screen, your girlfriend just hums in reply. Rude.
Another nudge with your freshly manicured toes. “Leah”
Finally he blonde turns to you, grasping your foot with one hand effectively putting an end to your incessant poking. “What, baby?”
“I’m bored” You pout at her.
“Then watch the game, darling” She tilts her head towards the 85” Samsung TV that is mounted on the wall. Her hand was now lightly massaging your foot and your calves, probably sensing how tense you are.
You groan in reply, your head falling backwards dramatically. “That's exactly what’s boring me, Lee”
Leah just smiles, but it’s a bit strained. She just wants to watch the game, and you’re making it hard for her to focus. She’s usually used to your indifference for the sport that she happens to make a career out of. You only "enjoyed" football when your girlfriend was playing. You attended all her matches and would cheer loudly for her when she's on the pitch. Whenever Leah would drag you along with to watch football matches as a spectator with her, you would reluctantly agree– after many kisses and promises of shopping afterwards– and armed with the latest copy of Vogue to pass the time. If she wasn’t on the pitch, you did not care.
You sneak a peek at her, wanting to see if she would indulge you further, but she was already turning her attention back to the TV. Stupid tv.
You rattle your foot that is still under her hand. You didn’t know where this was coming from but you had enough of being pushed aside for a game of football. “Leah!”
And that’s when she snaps.
“Fucking hell– would it kill you to be quiet! Can’t you see I’m trying to watch the match, mate?” She gestures wildly at the tv. Her eye brows were drawn together, the skin between them wrinkled. When she looked at you again, her gaze was intense– piercing almost.
You glare back at her, hoping she can feel your wrath from her peripheral since she has once agin directed her eyes back to the tv. “m’not your mate”
You huff audibly, snatching your foot back from her grasp. You could feel the annoyance bubbling up inside you. Sure, you had both compromised that Leah gets to spend one day to watch the game uninterrupted. And yes, you did get your girlfriend all to yourself during the last five days, but you couldn’t understand why she was pushing you away like this. You were being selfish, but who wouldn't be when their girlfriend is being uncharacteristically mean about it.
When you were in one of your moods, you had a habit of muttering under your breath when things don't go your way, making scathing, albeit humorous, remarks. It wasn’t long before the sounds of you grumbling under your breath could be heard by your now equally moody girlfriend.
“bloody football…this was supposed to be a birthday trip yet my girlfriend is spending time watching ugly men kick a ball around…we could’ve been snorkelling and exploring the reefs or having sex on a yacht but nooooooo apparently football is more interesting”
Sometimes Leah found it cute but other times, like today, your grumbling was annoying and it was distracting her from the game. The blonde just wants an hour or two to watch football uninterrupted, yet you can't even give her that. She smacks her hand down hard on the sofa, startling you and putting an end to your angry muttering. Leah turns to you and glares. “If you want to keep grumbling like that go do it somewhere else. You’re actually fucking pissing me off. don't know why I even put up with you” She groans the last bit as she rubs her forehead like you were some sort of nuisance to her.
That did it.
You were annoyed at the lack of affection from your girlfriend, and the same person that you wanted attention from was now mad at you. You glare at her right back, but your eyes were starting to water and you were getting the sniffles.
Wrestling the blanket off your lap like you were fighting an alligator, you swing your legs off the sofa, ready to stomp to the room and slam the door like a mature lady when Leah grabs your arm before you can move. “Sorry. I-I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it, baby”
You angrily wipe away a traitorous tear as it slides down your cheek, trying to shake off the blonde’s grip but she holds firm. She moves to stand on her own two feet until she’s standing in front of you. Leah crouches down slightly, forcing your eyes to meet her blue ones. She frowns when she notices your tear stained cheeks. “Darling…hey, look at me, please”
You meet her eyes, albeit reluctantly. She rewards your effort with a kiss on your wet cheek. “I didn’t mean it. Don’t cry, please. You’re breaking my heart, baby”
“Oyarzabal…Cucurella! 2-1 SPAIN!! Time is running out and Spain are nearly there. Oyarzabal hooks the ball out left to Cucurella, who beats a flagging Walker with a lovely diagonal ball into the box.The substitute is stretching ahead of Stones, having timed his run to perfection in between England's two centre-backs, and slides to put Spain back in front. This might just be it for England…”
Shit.
You head snapped towards the tv in shock, your annoyance disappearing. While you weren't personally rooting for any of the two teams, your English girlfriend was rooting for England so you automatically were rooting for England too. Not that you would ever admit it out loud.
You were anticipating a slew of cursed words from the Milton Keynes native, but her eyes had not left your face once, far too concerned about making sure you were okay. You were her number one priority, always.
Taking a step closer to her, you rub the sides of her waist lightly. It was your turn to comfort your girlfriend. You hug her, pressing your head against her chest to listen to the rhythmic beating of her heart. It’s soothing and familiar, and any lingering feelings of frustration have completely disappeared.
“The lads can pull one back” You say to her, peeking at the time running at the left top corner of the screen. Your girlfriend still hasn't said anything and you assume it's because she's sad about the score. “They’ve still got 10 minutes to equalise– plus additional time to play.” Just because you weren’t the biggest football fan out there did not mean you didn’t understand how the sport works.
“Quit thinking about the match for a minute, baby, I don’t care about them right now. Are you sure you’re okay?” Leah pulls back slightly, cupping your face gently, and you lean into the warmth of her palms.
“There’s nothing to forgive, Lee. I was just been silly” You pucker your lips up at her, and she grants your request with a grin. She kisses you once, and then again, pecking your lips repeatedly like she can’t get enough of you.
You give her one more kiss, giving her a sharp bite on her lower lip before you pull away completely. Leah frowns at that, her eyebrows furrowing in displeasure.
“I’m going to grab my laptop and watch Desperate Housewives out on the hammock. I’ll leave you to your football–alone– so you can focus.”
“What no. Baby, you can’t leave me when we’re one nil down during a Euros final” Leah gestures animatedly at the TV, the scoreline still showing Spain in the lead. “Stay with me. Watch your show right here with me”
It wasn’t a question, it was a demand.
Without waiting for you to reply, Leah began pulling you by the hand back to the sofa. She sat down, tugging you onto her lap. You just laugh, not even bothering to reach for your abandoned laptop on the other side of the sofa. You snuggle into her, your chest pressed together, tucking your face into the crook of her neck. Just because you agreed to stay with her, doesn’t mean you were interested in watching the match.
A buzzing from the inside of your short’s pocket startles you slightly. You glance at the screen, reading the text, and then gasp.
“love, my Chanel sales associate is asking me if I’d like to book an appointment at their store to see their new collection! There’s actually a cute bag that I've been thinking about…"
Leah hums, distracted slightly, not even looking at the phone screen that you are practically shoving into her face. “Yeah, we can get your bag once we arrive back home”
You squeal, already texting your sales associate to go ahead and book you in.
“–only if England win it” The typing stops and your heart drops. Your celebration cut short.
“w-what…b-but, love…” You look up at her to see if she was serious, and to your dismay there's not a hint of playfulness in her gaze. She's serious. Glancing back at the screen, you see England have only 5 minutes left to equalise if they want to play for additional time, but the seconds are ticking by quickly.
Scrambling off your girlfriend’s lap, you take your place beside her on the sofa instead. You have never been more motivated to cheer for a team your girlfriend was not playing for. Mustering all the manifestation in the universe, and your desperate need for that Chanel medium 25cm double flap shoulder bag in pink quilted lambskin leather with silver metal trim, you shout from the top of your voice “C’mon, England!!”
Leah just laughs loudly beside you, yelling and whooping too.
However, sports can be a cruel thing sometimes.
England did not end up winning the Euros, much to the dismay of your girlfriend— and probably an entire nation. However, you got your bag anyway. Leah could never say no to you. She would give you the entire world if you asked for it, but luckily all you wanted is a pink Chanel bag– for now.

Crossing the line (Part 1)
Ingrid Engen x Putellas!reader
Alexia Putellas x sister!reader
Word count:3k
Warning: some angst
Summary: You meet Ingrid, who is one of your sister’s teammates and friends, and begin dating her secretly, keeping it hidden from your extremely overprotective sister.
Based on this request.
Part 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You’ve always found comfort in the quiet spaces. In those moments between the noise, where the world seems to slow down and you can just… breathe.
Being the youngest of three sisters—especially when those sisters are Alba and Alexia Putellas—quiet moments are rare.
Alba, with her fierce independence and unwavering determination, and Alexia, the football star, shining so brightly that it’s impossible not to notice her.
And then there's you—Y/N. The quiet one. The introvert who prefers the shadows over the spotlight.
It’s not that you don’t adore your sisters. You do. Alba is your role model, always encouraging you to be the best version of yourself. And Alexia… well, Alexia is your protector.
The one who shields you from the world when it becomes too loud or overwhelming. But as much as you love them, you can’t help but feel different.
While Alba and Alexia thrive in the public eye, you shy away from it. Your social media accounts are private, your friend circle is small, and you've perfected the art of avoiding cameras and attention at Alexia's matches.
Growing up in the shadow of a football star had its perks, of course. You got to attend Alexia’s games, sit in the VIP sections, and watch her dominate the field with grace and skill.
But as much as you loved watching her play, you dreaded the attention that came with it. The cameras, the reporters, the fans—they all made you feel like you were suffocating.
Alexia understood this about you, which was one of the reasons you were so close.
She never pushed you to do things you were not comfortable with, and she always made sure you felt safe and loved.
In return, you supported her in the ways you could—by being there for her, by cheering her on from the sidelines, and by simply being her sister.
But everything changed the day Alexia decided to bring you to one of her training sessions.
It was a decision she made casually, without much thought. You were sitting in the living room of your childhood home, the TV playing softly in the background. You were reading a book, and Alexia was scrolling through her phone.
“Y/N,” she said suddenly, breaking the comfortable silence. “¿Por qué no vienes conmigo a la práctica mañana? Hace tiempo que no vas al campo de entrenamiento” (Why don’t you come to training with me tomorrow? You haven’t been to the training ground in a while.)
You looked up from your book, surprised by her suggestion. “entrenamiento? Por que?”(Training why?)
She shrugged, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. “No sé. Solo pensé que podría ser divertido. Podrías ver al equipo y tal vez patear un poco el balón.” (I don’t know. I just thought it might be fun. You can see the team, maybe kick a ball around a bit.)
The idea of going to her training session made your stomach twist with anxiety. You were not used to being around her teammates, and the thought of being in such a social setting made you uneasy.
But the way Alexia looked at you with those hopeful eyes made it hard to say no.
“Okay,” you agreed reluctantly. “Solo si puedo quedarme en el segundo plano” (But only if I can stay in the background.)
Alexia laughed, reaching over to ruffle your hair. “Siempre estás en segundo plano, Y/N. No te preocupes, me aseguraré de que estés cómoda.” (You’re always in the background, Y/N. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you’re comfortable.)
And so, the next day, you found yourself standing on the sidelines of the FC Barcelona training ground, watching Alexia and her teammates warm up.
The sun was shining brightly, and the sound of laughter and chatter filled the air. Despite your nerves, you couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride as you watched your sister lead the team with her usual confidence and skill.
You kept to yourself, as promised, standing off to the side and trying to blend in with the scenery. But as the training session progressed, you found yourself relaxing a little.
The players were focused on their drills, and no one seemed to pay much attention to you. You even started to enjoy yourself, watching the intricate footwork and passing drills that the team executed with precision.
And then it happened.
One of the players came sprinting toward you, clearly in a hurry.
She wasn’t paying attention to where she was going, and before you could react, she collided with you, sending both of you tumbling to the ground.
For a moment, you were too stunned to move. The world spun around you, and all you could feel was the hard ground beneath you and the weight of someone on top of your body.
“Søren!I’m so sorry!” (Shit!) a voice exclaimed above you in a mix of english and another language.
You blinked, trying to focus your vision, and found yourself staring into the most beautiful blue eyes you had ever seen.
They were wide with concern, framed by long lashes and a few strands of black hair that had fallen out of her ponytail.
Your breath caught in your throat as you realized who was lying on top of you—Ingrid Engen, one of the stars of Barcelona’s team.
“Está bien” (It’s okay) you managed to stammer, your heart racing for reasons that had nothing to do with the fall.
Ingrid quickly scrambled off you, offering her hand to help you up. “Are you alright? I didn’t see you there. I was running late, I’m really sorry.”
Ingrid spoke in English, and fortunately, you understood it.
You took her hand, feeling a jolt of electricity shoot through you as your skin made contact. “I’m fine, really. I don’t think I’m hurt.”
She looked relieved, her smile returning as she brushed some dirt off her shorts. “Good. I would hate to have injured you.”
You laughed nervously, feeling your cheeks heat up under her gaze. “Don’t worry, no injuries.”
Ingrid tilted her head slightly, studying me with curiosity. “You’re Alexia’s sister, right? I’ve seen you at some of the games.”
You nodded, feeling a mix of pride and embarrassment. “Yeah, I’m Y/N”
Her smile widened, and you couldn’t help but notice how it lit up her entire face. “Well, it’s nice to officially meet you, Y/N. Sorry again for knocking you over.”
Before you could respond, you heard a familiar voice call out from behind you. “Y/N? Ingrid? ¿Qué está pasando aquí?” (What’s going on here?)
You turned to see Alexia jogging over, her brow furrowed in confusion. She glanced between Ingrid and you, her protective instincts clearly kicking in.
“No es nada”, you said quickly. “Solo un pequeño choque. Estamos bien”(It’s nothing Just a little collision. We’re both fine.)
Ingrid nodded in agreement, flashing Alexia a reassuring smile. “Yeah, just a bit of a mix-up. No harm done.”
But Alexia’s eyes narrowed as she noticed the way you were still holding onto Ingrid’s hand.
She raised an eyebrow, giving you a look that you knew all too well. It was the “what’s going on here?” look that only a protective older sister could give.
“Entiendo” she said slowly, her gaze shifting between the two of us. “Bueno, asegurémonos de que no vuelva a pasar, ¿de acuerdo?” (I see,Well, let’s make sure it doesn’t happen again, okay?)
Ingrid quickly let go of your hand, her smile faltering slightly. “Of course, Alexia. I’ll be more careful next time.”
Alexia nodded, but you could tell she wasn’t entirely convinced. She gave you one last look before turning to walk back to the training session, motioning for Ingrid to follow her.
As you watched them go, your heart continued to race, but this time it wasn’t just from the adrenaline of the fall.
You couldn’t believe what had just happened. Ingrid Engen—the Ingrid Engen—had not only noticed you but had also touched you, talked to you, and smiled at you.
And you were completely, hopelessly smitten.
But as you stood there, watching Alexia’s retreating form, you couldn’t shake the feeling that this newfound crush was going to be a problem.
Because if there was one thing you knew for sure, it was that Alexia would never approve of you getting involved with one of her teammates.
Especially not someone as close to her as Ingrid.
——
The following days passed in a blur. Your mind kept drifting back to that brief encounter with Ingrid.
Every time you closed my eyes, you saw her smile, those striking blue eyes, and the way she had looked at you with genuine concern after the collision. It was impossible to forget, no matter how hard you tried.
But it wasn’t just Ingrid that occupied your thoughts—it was also Alexia. You couldn’t help but replay the moment when she had caught you together on the ground, the protective look in her eyes when she noticed how close we were. It was a look that said, “Stay away from my sister.”
Alexia had always been protective of you, especially when it came to relationships. She was the type to scare off any potential suitors with just a glance, her reputation on the field translating into her personal life.
She had once jokingly told you that no one would ever be good enough for you, but you knew there was a kernel of truth in her words.
And now, with this crush on Ingrid bubbling beneath the surface, you found yourself caught between two conflicting desires—the desire to pursue something that felt so right, and the desire to keep the peace with your sister, the person you looked up to more than anyone else in the world.
It was a dilemma that gnawed at you day and night. You kept your feelings hidden, not just from Alexia, but from everyone.
A week after the training incident, you found yourself wandering around the city, your thoughts consumed by Ingrid.
You couldn’t understand why you were torturing yourself like this. You had only officially met her once, and that encounter lasted less than a minute. Yet here you were , replaying it in your mind over and over again, thinking about someone who was so clearly out of reach. It was ridiculous—pathetic, even.
You had always been so careful, so good at keeping your emotions in check. But Ingrid had slipped through the cracks of your defenses without even trying.
You were lost in your thoughts when you stumbled upon a small café tucked away in a quiet corner of the city.
It was one of those cozy places with soft lighting and wooden furniture, the kind of place where you could lose yourself in a book or a conversation. You decided to go in, hoping a cup of coffee might clear my head.
The café was nearly empty, which suited you just fine. You ordered a cappuccino and found a table by the window, where you could watch the world go by without being part of it.
As you sipped your coffee, you tried to push thoughts of Ingrid out of your mind, focusing instead on the book you had brought with you.
But then, as if the universe had a cruel sense of humor, the door to the café swung open, and in walked the very person you had been trying to forget—Ingrid Engen.
Your heart skipped a beat as you watched her scan the room, her gaze eventually landing on you. For a moment, you considered ducking behind your book, pretending you hadn’t seen her. But it was too late. She had already spotted you, and there was no escaping now.
“Y/N?” she said, a surprised smile lighting up her face as she approached my table. “Fancy seeing you here.”
You forced yourself to smile, trying to keep your nerves in check. “Ingrid. Hi. What are you doing here?”
“Just grabbing some coffee before training. This place has the best cappuccinos in all Barcelona.”
“Yeah, they’re pretty good,” you agreed, taking another sip of your drink to calm your racing heart.
She hesitated for a moment, then glanced around the café before meeting your eyes again. “I’m just going to order. Is it okay if I join you afterwards?”
You nodded, trying to appear nonchalant even though your heart was pounding in your chest. “Sure. Go ahead.”
Ingrid heads to the counter to order her cappuccino and then returns.
She slid into the chair across from you, and her presence quickly filled the small space between you.
You could smell the faint scent of her perfume, a mix of something floral and fresh. It was distracting in the best way possible.
“So,” she began, taking a sip of her coffee. “How have you been since… well, since I knocked you over?”
You chuckled, grateful for the lightness in her tone. “I’ve been fine. No lasting injuries, thankfully.”
“That’s good to hear. I still feel bad about that, you know.”
“Don’t. It was an accident.”
She smiled, and you both fell into a conversation about everything and nothing—discussing how her days had been so far, the little things that had happened recently, and what she had lined up for the near future.
You talked about your daily lives, shared updates, and enjoyed the easy flow of your conversation.
You couldn’t believe how easy it was to be around her, despite the nerves buzzing under your skin. There was something about Ingrid that put you at ease, even when you were freaking out on the inside.
“Well, I need to go now. I’m really sorry, but I have training soon. It was wonderful catching up with you again, Y/N,” Ingrid said, rising from her seat.
“It was great to see you too, hopefully, we’ll run into each other again sometime,” you replied, standing up as well.
Ingrid smiled warmly, pulled you into a brief but heartfelt hug, said a final goodbye, and then headed out of the café.
——
You ran into each other sooner than you had anticipated. Just a few days after your café encounter, you were at the park, one morning, engrossed in a book, when a familiar voice broke the quiet. “Y/N?” You looked up and saw Ingrid standing there.
“Hi! How are you?” You asked with a smile, and she responded by pulling you into a warm greeting hug. “I’m doing great. How about you?” she replied. “I’m fantastic,” you said, and she offered you a soft, pleased smile.
“Do you mind if I join you?” she asked, gesturing to the bench where you were sitting. You nodded, inviting her to sit down with you.
She glanced at the book in your hand, her eyebrows raising in interest. “What are you reading?”
You showed her the cover, feeling a little self-conscious. It was a novel about forbidden love—ironic, considering my current situation.
“Oh, I’ve heard of that one,” she said, nodding in approval. “Is it good?”
“Yeah, it’s pretty good. A little heavy, but well-written.”
You talked a bit more about books, which was a pleasant surprise. You hadn’t expected Ingrid to be much of a reader, but she was full of surprises.
You ended up chatting for nearly an hour, your conversation flowing effortlessly from topic to topic.
You found yourself laughing more than you had in a long time, the usual weight on your shoulders lifting, if only temporarily.
As the time passed, you started to feel a little more confident, even bold. Maybe it was the fresh air, or maybe it was the fact that Ingrid was so easy to talk to, but you found yourself wanting more.
More of this connection, more of her attention, more of whatever it was that made your heart race whenever she was near.
After a little while, Ingrid glanced at her watch and sighed. “I should probably get going. It’s getting late and I don’t want to be late for training”
“Yeah, wouldn’t want to get in trouble with Alexia,” you teased, though the mention of your sister brought a fresh wave of nerves crashing down on me.
Ingrid gave a small smile in response to the joke, which boosted your confidence just enough to take a leap.
Gathering your nerves, you asked, “Would it be alright if I got your number? That way, we can stay in touch and maybe, you know, go out again sometime?” Your voice wavered with nervousness as I spoke.
She ran a hand through her hair, suddenly looking a little unsure of herself. “Um…It’s just… I know you’re Alexia’s sister, and she’s really protective of you. I don’t want to cause any problems.”
Your heart sank a little, even though you had been expecting something like this. “You’re not causing any problems. We’re just… talking.”
“I know, but still.” She paused, biting her lip as if she was weighing her words carefully. “It’s just… complicated, you know?”
You modded, understanding completely. Alexia had made it clear to Ingrid that you were off-limits and Ingrid obviously didn’t want to cross that line. But as much as you respected that, you couldn’t help the way you felt.
You forced a smile, trying to keep things light. “It’s okay, Ingrid. You don’t have to worry about it.I understand… well…have a good training”
But as you stood up to leave, you could feel the tension in the air, the unspoken words hanging between you.
You started to walk away, not wanting to make things awkward, but before you could take more than a few steps, you felt a gentle hand grab your arm, stopping you in your tracks.
“Wait, Y/N,” Ingrid said softly, her voice filled with uncertainty.
You turned to face her, your heart pounding in your chest. “What is it?”
She hesitated for a moment, then let out a small sigh. “Here.” She reached into her pocket, pulled out her phone, and handed it to you. “Put your number in. I’d like to keep talking with you and maybe going out”
You stared at the phone in her hand, my mind racing. This was it—the moment you had been waiting for, hoping for.
But you could see the hesitation in her eyes, the way she was still holding back, torn between her feelings and her loyalty to your sister.
Despite the risk, you took her phone and quickly typed in your number, your fingers trembling slightly.
When you handed it back to her, she smiled, a mix of relief and something else that you couldn’t quite place.
“Thanks,” she said quietly.
“No problem.” You managed to smile back, though your heart was still racing. “I’ll… see you around, Ingrid.”
“Yeah,” she said, slipping her phone back into her pocket. “See you around, Y/N.”
As you both walked away, you couldn’t help but glance back one last time, your eyes meeting Ingrid’s who also turned away.
There was something in her gaze that made your heart flutter—something that told you this wasn’t the end.
But as much as you wanted to believe that, you couldn’t shake the feeling that you were walking a dangerous line. A line that could easily break if you were not careful.
And that line was named Alexia.

Two hearts, one timeline. Alexia putellas x reader
An age gap romance. Part 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“ We are delighted to introduce you to this young star. She is a 2 time world cup champion, the youngest ever to achieve that. A 2 time NWSL winner. A final’s MVP and just overall an inspiration. Welcome to the show.” said the reporter next to you. The studio was quiet and all you could hear was your heart beating in your ears. This wasn't the first time you were on TV but you were uncertain about the way the news you were about to deliver is gonna be perceived.
“ Thank you for having me.” you respond with a smile on your face.
“ After your recent NWSL win you were the talk of the sports world. Everybody is interested in whether you are gonna resign with your club or not. What do you say to those questions?”
“ Well I am sad to say that I will not resign with Seattle but very excited to say that a team I have been dreaming of joining has reached out to sign me. I have signed a 4 year contract with FC barcelona.”
“ Oh my god, that's exciting. Tell us how you feel at the moment.”
“ Well, I am very excited, but sad to say goodbye to my family in the states and at seattle. I think this challenge is gonna help me develop as a footballer and learn new styles.”
“ Well, we wish you good luck.”
“ Thank you.”
You exit the studio and the weight of the secret drops from your shoulder. You were gonna leave your home for a more competitive team and a shot at the chapion’s league.
Your move to Barcelona was smooth. You celebrated your run at your old club with the girls, took your flight the next day and landed in sunny Barcelona, the weather was as great as they all said. You then went directly to your new apartment. The time zone change weighed heavily on your body so you took a shower immediately, put your sheets in your new bed and laid down as soon as you could. You then opened your phone only for it to freeze due tha new messages and followers you received. You could see all the comments and messages your new teammates wrote on your post congratulating you on the signing and wishing well for you. This made you excited for your first day tomorrow.
When you woke up the next day you were nervous to say the least. You got ready, called a taxi and headed to the facility. You first got a tour of the facility which was empty because it was early. You met as much staff as you could, did your fitness and health test, a photoshoot, and shot some content. By the time you were done your teammates were done training too. You were ushered by the assistant coach to go to the field and meet everybody.
Your heart was beating like a drum. You were standing next to alexia putellas, aitana bonmati, lucy bronze, and mapi leon. Those people are more experienced and have more accolades than you.
“ Everybody please welcome our new signing from the US.” said your coach which caused all of them to start cheering.
“Hola a todos. Estoy emocionado de ser parte de este equipo, compartir el campo con todos ustedes y ganar algunos trofeos con ustedes.”
“Joder, hablas español y tus estadísticas son buenas, nos llevaremos muy bien.“ said patri putting her arm on your shoulder and guiding you inside.
“Si ella hablara catalán habríamos sido mejores amigas.” said aitana sarcastically.
The rest of the day went on great, you had lunch with the girls, you laughed with them, and exchanged stories. They welcomed you very well.
“ for a young girl you really carry yourself well.” said lucy
“ I had to grow up quickly.” you respond to her.
Your first month at Barcelona was amazing. You got on with the girls really well, training was going well, you had your first start within 2 weeks of your arrival and the fans were really happy with you after your first hattrick in the last match.
“Necesitamos celebrar tu primer mes exitoso con nosotros estrella.” said mapi while you were recovering in the gym. Estrella was the Spanish translation of the nickname the fans gave you when you were getting famous, which was stargirl. That nickname was used by everybody you knew, even the press. But from them it sounded different.
“ Yeah sure, just text me the details.” You responded.
You then went home, showered, and rested. You then got a message from the group chat.“ La terrazza. 8:00.”
Since they went there to celebrate you, you decided to show up and show out. You decided on a black maxi dress, heels, gold accessories, and a red lip.
You drove to the club and got there at 8 sharp. You went inside, and headed straight to the bar to order a drink. The girls started coming little by little, and by a few hours you were all jammed up dancing in the middle of the dance floor. However, your captain didn't join you; she instead opted to watch from the bar.
Alexia has been quiet and reserved around you. Maybe she didn't like you or maybe she was just a quiet person, you never really thought about it before.
“chicas voy a ir al baño.” You yell so that you can be heard over the loud music and exit the dance floor.
Surprisingly the bathroom was empty. You got your business done and went over to the mirror to fix your makeup.
“Parece que te lo estás pasando bien aquí en Barcelona..” said a voice from behind you which took you a minute to realize it was Alexia 's.
“ Capitana I am too drunk for Spanish right now.” You respond still facing the mirror
“ You look good. I mean happy in Barcelona.” She said nervously.
“ Well that's because of you and your friends out there. Actually it was more your friends than you since you hate me.” You respond l, alcohol making you braver than you usually are.
“ I could never hate you. I just can't control myself around you.” She says half whispering. “tengo que ir.” She added before she exited the bathroom.
“ This is definitely something I need to visit tomorrow when I am sober.” You say to yourself before joining the girls again. You were told that Alexia left which caused you to have more questions but you didn't give it much thought. You partied more with the girls before leaving.
Your head was pounding the next morning but you couldn't remember anything, only that you had a great time.
The following weeks were nothing short of spectacular. You were training well, winning every game, scoring every game, and you really built a community with the girls. But Alexia was giving you more space than usual which you couldn't understand why.
Jonathan could see that Alexia was cornering herself away from you so he decided to pair you with each other on everything under the excuse of her giving you more experience since she was older than you. She didn't talk when she was near you, she barely even touched you. This caused commotion in your brain. You lost sleep over why she despised you so much.
One day you had enough of the questions in your brain so you waited in the locker room knowing that she wouldn't come to it to avoid you. You stayed there af-ter all the girls left. After a while alexia entered the locker room
“ Have I ever done anything to offend you?” you ask as soon as you see her figure.
“ Mierda, me asustaste, pensé que no había nadie aquí.” she said taking a few steps back
“ capitana please just give a straight answer. What have I ever done to you?.”
“ We talked about this and my answer was nothing, the problem is in me.”
“ when did we talk about this i don't remember anything.”
“ that night at the party now will you please leave so that i can change and go home i am really tired.”
“ Alexia, this is eating away at me. All I want is for us to be friends or just teammates. Tell me what I did so that we can get past it.”
“ You did nothing, just get over it. You have plenty of friends.”
“No puc fer això ara mateix, és massa jove i hauria de proteger-la de mi” she whispers in catalan and leave without looking at you.
You didn't understand catalan but it was close to Spanish which you were fluent in so when you heard her words you could remember them easily. After she left you reached for your phone and translated her words. “ I can't do this right now. He is too young and should protect her from me.”
Alexia’s words shocked you. You felt dizzy and couldn't focus. You never realized that alexia could have anything for you except hate. You loved her and admired her for the player and person she is. You looked up to her kind heart and intelligent brain. But no matter what you thought about it you needed her approval, her attention, and her focus to be on you as much as you were on her. That's why her distance from you left you puzzled.
You knew that you couldn't stay like that, not when your brain was filled with questions that needed answering.
You left the training facility, and headed straight to Alexia's house.
Before knocking on her door your knees were weak and your brain was quiet. She opened the door mere moments later.
“ What did you mean by protecting me from you?” you asked as soon as she opened the door.
“ What are you doing here?” she asked.
“ What did you mean, alexia?”
“ i don't want to talk about this.”
“ well i do it's the only thing i have been thinking about.”
You force your way inside and she closes the door after you
“ You are not this passive aggressive. I know you. I heard alot about you. This thing you are hiding from me is killing me.” you say to her once she is in front of you.
“ Believe me when I say that I am protecting you.”
“ it's not your choice capitana. What are you protecting me from?”
“ I am protecting you from my feelings for you god damn it. We can't be together and that is all I have been thinking about. I have been thinking about you, your body, your laughter, your eyes. It’s driving me insane.” she yells as she slams the wall behind you.
You weren't shocked, you managed to keep your calm. You held onto her hand which was still on the wall. You backed up a little bit and didn't say a word.
“ this can't happen, you are 23, i am 30. I am older than you. I outrank you in the team. I just…”
“ i dont care.” you interrupt her still holding on to her arm. “ capitana i dont give a fuck. I want you. I need you. Do you want me?” you add.
“More than you'll ever know.” she whispers.
The air was still. The tension was high. You feel your body unintentionally move towards alexia. Your face was millimeters away from her you could feel her breath on your lips. You somehow got brave enough to kiss her. The kiss cut short because she pulled away.
“ please capitana i want this. I want you.”
She then kisses you deeply. Her need for you was apparent. She took control of all of you, not just your lips. She picked you up and walked towards her bedroom all while kissing you. She then threw you on her bed.
“ Are you sure estrella.” whispers
“ I never wanted anything more in this world.”

BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP with England's star football player had its ups and downs.
You got to be a WAG, enjoying the glamorous lifestyle that came with dating Jude. From attending high-profile matches and exclusive events to traveling the world and mingling with other footballers and celebrities, life was never boring. The media attention was overwhelming at times, but you learned to navigate the spotlight and maintain a sense of normalcy.
However, that was the problem. You longed for a sense of normalcy, that was all you wanted was for your relationship. The glitz and glamour of being a WAG was only fun for a bit, not it seemed like you never got a moment to yourself. This was the root of all your relationships, somehow ─ Jude never understood why you wouldn't like all the media attention.
"It's overwhelming," you muttered as you played with the bottom of your of your coffee cup, the warm ceramic providing little comfort. Jude sat across from you, his expression both of concern and confusion.
"What do you mean, overwhelming?" He replied, his gaze locked on you. "This is part of the life we have. The attention, the media... it's just something we have to deal with."
You sighed, looking out the window at the city outside. "But that's just it, Jude. I never wanted this. I love you, and I support your career, but I miss having a private life. I miss being able to go out without cameras following us or people recognizing us everywhere we go."
"Overwhelming for you?" He sighed, his expression hardening. "How do you think I feel? Look, I'm not asking for much ─ I've given you the best life I can,"
You scoffed, he wasn't listening to what you were saying. "This isn't about you or-or what you've given me. I'm grateful, I really am-"
"Doesn't sound like it," Jude cut you off, his voice rising in frustration. "It sounds like you're not happy with anything I've done."
You felt a surge of anger, the words bubbling up before you could stop them. "That's not fair, Jude," you sighed. "I've been by your side through everything, and all I'm asking for is a little understanding. I need space, I need to feel like my own person, not just an accessory to your life."
Jude stood up, his chair scraping loudly against the floor. "So, what? You want me to quit football? Give up everything I've worked for?"
"No!" You stood up as well, your heart pounding. "I don't want you to give up anything. I just want you to see things from my perspective for once. I'm losing myself in all of this, and I feel like an accessory you just get to show off."
"Well, you know that's not true," his eyes softened for a moment, but then the frustration returned. "I thought we were a team. I thought we were in this together. But it feels like you're just... giving up."
"I'm not giving up," you said, your voice breaking. "It's hard for me too, like I'm just a pretty face with no dreams or aspirations. That's what they think-"
"Who cares what they think? I know you're more than that, everyone you care about knows that." Jude let out a huff as he glared at you.
"Well it's always just been about you, Jude," you didn't mean it to come out so harsh ─ your tone hard and cold. "Moving to Spain and-and all this, it's hard on me too."
That seemed to hit a nerve because Jude's eyes went wide before he scoffed. "You think this has been easy for me? You think moving to a different country, dealing with the pressure of a new team, and trying to keep us together is all about me?"
You flinched at his words, but your frustration was too strong to back down now. "That's not what I'm saying, Jude. I just want you to see that I'm struggling too. I left everything behind to be with you. My friends, my family, my life — everything."
Jude's face softened slightly, but his jaw was still tight with anger. "I need you to understand that this life comes with sacrifices. We both have to make them, this is what you signed up for."
"I know that, Jude," you said, tears welling up in your eyes as you sniffled. "But sometimes it feels like I'm the only one sacrificing. I feel like I'm losing myself, and I don't know how to fix it."
You wiped away a tear before continuing, averting your gaze from Jude. "I just need to feel like I'm more than just your girlfriend. I need to feel like I have my own purpose."
"You are!" Jude snapped, before sighing.
You sent him a glare as you sighed loudly, getting tired of not being heard. "Don't raise your voice!"
"You're being ungrateful, I've given you everything! A nice house, a nice car, you know how many girls would kill to be in your position?"
That was the last straw. Your mouth was slightly agape as you took in his words. Ungrateful? How could he say that after everything you've sacrificed to be with him?
"Fuck," you sighed as you looked up, meeting his gaze. "Is that how low you think of me? Fine, then. Let them have my position, since apparently, you think I'm just here for the perks," you said, your voice trembling with a mix of hurt and anger.
Jude's face fell, a mixture of regret and panic crossing his features. "I didn't mean it like that. I'm just frustrated. I love you, and I want us to be happy."
You shook your head, taking a step back. "That's not enough, Jude. Love isn't just about the nice things or the glamorous life. It's about understanding each other. And right now, I don't feel understood."
"That's not what I meant," Jude sighed as he began rubbing his temple. "Jesus, I need some space from you."
You glared as he grabbed his keys from the counter and you watched him walk out of the room, feeling your stomach twist in anxiety and hurt. The sound of the door closing echoed in the silence, leaving you standing alone in the kitchen. Tears streamed down your face as you sank into a chair, feeling the weight of the argument pressing down on you.
You sat there for a while, trying to process everything that had just happened. The love you had for Jude was undeniable, but the constant feeling of being misunderstood was taking its toll. You needed to find a way to reclaim your sense of self, to feel heard in your relationship.
After a few moments, you wiped your tears and took a deep breath. You needed to do something, anything, to clear your mind. You decided to go for a walk, hoping the fresh air would help you think more clearly. Grabbing your jacket, you stepped outside and started walking aimlessly through the streets of the city.
As you walked, you reflected on your relationship with Jude. There had been so many beautiful moments, but lately, it seemed like the challenges were overshadowing the good times. You loved him deeply, but you needed to find a way to communicate better, to make him understand how you felt without it turning into a fight.
After a while, you headed back home, feeling a bit more centered. When you entered the apartment, you heard the TV and sighed. You took off your jacket and made your way to the living room, your gaze landing on Jude was too immersed in the show he was watch to realize you'd come home.
He finally met your gaze and instantly muted the TV, the tension palpable as you walked toward him.
"Hey," you whispered as he gave you a small smile.
He tapped to the spot next to him, inviting you to sit down. You hesitated for a moment before joining him on the couch, the silence between you heavy with tension.
"Hey," he said softly, his eyes filled with regret. "I've been thinking about what you said."
You nodded, your heart aching at the sight of his earnest expression. "Me too. I just... I need you to understand how hard this is for me."
Jude took a deep breath, his hand reaching out to gently take yours. "I know I've been incredibly fucking selfish, and I haven't been listening to you. I didn't realize how much you were sacrificing and how it was affecting you until now and... and I'm sorry."
Tears welled up in your eyes again, but this time they were tears of relief. "I appreciate that, Jude. I love you, but I need to find my own way, to have something that's mine."
He nodded, squeezing your hand. "Yeah, I get that. And I want to help you find that. We can work on this together, maybe you can look into things that interest you here, find something that makes you happy."
A small smile tugged at your lips. "I’d like that. And maybe we can set some boundaries with the media, try to keep our private life a bit more private."
"Yeah, absolutely," Jude agreed, his eyes shining with determination. "I'll talk to my manager and see what we can do about that. Your happiness is important to me... you are important to me."
You leaned your head against his shoulder, feeling a sense of reassurance. "Thank you, Jude. I just want us to be happy together, without all the pressure and stress."
He kissed the top of your head, his arm wrapping around you protectively. "We will, I promise."
"I love you, a lot," Jude continued, his voice soft. "I didn't mean anything I said earlier, I was just angry. I don't know..." He trailed off, before pausing. "I don't know what I'd do with you, baby."
You looked up at him, your eyes meeting his brown ones, and you could see the depth of his feelings for you. "I love you too, Jude," you whispered, your heart swelling with emotion.
As you cuddled together on the couch, the warmth of his embrace enveloping you, you felt a sense of peace.
"How about we start fresh tomorrow?" Jude suggested, his voice gentle. "We can spend the day together, just us. No media, no distractions. Just enjoying each other's company."
You nodded, feeling a wave of relief. "I'd love that. It sounds perfect."
He smiled, his eyes twinkling with affection. "Good. It's a date then."

Hello! Of course, I'm so sorry for everything that is happening. I'll do everything I can to help.
Please do donate to and share their gofundme! They are low on funds with £3,350/£30,000. They have been vetted by nabulsi
here is the link again in case you are not able to open it.
Here is their story (from gofundme) if you have not seen it:
"The Munna Tashmali family has faced unimaginable hardship and loss. Their home in Gaza has been destroyed three times by the wars on Gaza in 2014, 2021, and now again in 2024. Each time they have painstakingly rebuilt their lives and their home, but this time, they have lost not only their home but also any source of income. The compensation for their 2021 home destruction is still pending, and now they face the devastating reality of losing their home once more."
This family consists of five children, each with their own dreams and hopes:
- Rima, the eldest, is a teenager who dreamed of decorating her room with the best furniture and devices, to build a future alongside her four younger siblings.
- Salah, 11 years old, has a deep love for football and admires stars like Messi, Ronaldo, and Mohamed Salah. He hasn't watched a match in nine months and missed an entire school year without any education.
- Lina, the youngest at 5 years old, often says, "End the war - we are children - we want to live." But does anyone in the world hear her cries and respond to them?
For the past nine months, this family has been living in a small tent, barely 3 meters in size. Imagine spending every day, every night, and every moment in such cramped conditions. They need urgent support to rebuild their home and regain a sense of normalcy."

Alessia Russo + reporter!gf, where Alessia is nonstop flirting with Reader on national television when you're trying to interview her
LIVE TO ALL — alessia russo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
masterlist
you were a sports journalist for itv, travelling up and down the country as well as across the world each week to cover matches as well as try and get some of the players thoughts and opinions on the game.
today was the england lionesses vs sweden at home, at a sold out wembley. the game being tense but the girls pulling out a win by one goal and of course it being scored by non other than the alessia russo who just happened to be on your radar to interview.
normally it would take some convincing from some players to get them to do a quick post match interview, most players after a win wanting to celebrate and after a loss was when it was even harder to get players to interview as they just generally weren’t in the mood, understandably.
however luckily you wouldn’t have to do much convincing to get england’s star girl for an interview as she just so happened to also be your girlfriend. so one little bat of the eyelashes and a flash of the smile and the blonde would be right over.
so as your team handed her a mic as she walked over from the pitch hugging you tight as you sent her a loving smile trying your best to remain professional but the girl just looked so gorgeous even after running around a pitch for ninety minutes, her hair slicked back a few flyaways had came loose above her as well as her cheeks being slightly flushed pink probably from the amount of running she’d done.
“so alessia another sold out wembley for the lionesses, does the feeling ever change walking out and seeing that many people in the stadium?” you began the interview as alessia nodded along with what you were saying, her bottom lip inbetween her teeth as you watched as her eyes roamed your face as she held her eye contact with you instead of the camera like she was supposed to.
there was a slight pause between your question and the blonde starting her answer, “oh um it definitely helps to keep us motivated whilst we are playing- as we love seeing our fans pack out stadiums and creating as much noise as possible!”
“speaking of motivation, what helps to keep you fired up especially when your playing top teams like sweden?” you asked as you seen alessia giggle to herself, you being thankful for the fact that the camera can’t see the look your throwing alessia right now.
“well away from football there’s definitely someone who does that for me-” the blonde making direct eye contact with you as a smirk crept onto her face. you knew exactly what she was insinuating on and while the your relationship wasn’t exactly out there it wasn’t a big secret either fans definitely had their suspicions and alessia right now was definitely adding fuel to that fire.
she carried on, you sending the blonde another stern look that told her to behave, “but the staff at england as well as the girls we all do our part to ensure that’s we can all play to the best of our ability to ensure we get the result that we want as a team and as a nation” she smiled innocently as she finished awaiting your next question.
you began to explain the importance of the goal that alessia scored to start off the lionesses euro qualifying campaign while alessia well she was just staring at you, totally zoned out as she licked her lips. her eyes scanning your outfit as she imagined maybe what it would look like on the floor of your shared bedroom…
“and finally how does it feel to finally get your first goal at wembley especially the one that sealed the win for you guys” you finished with a quick smile, slightly kicking the blonde which wasn’t able to be seen by the camera which shook the blonde from her daydream.
“oh- um, wait i- sorry what was the question?” alessia flushed red with embarrassment as you were the one now with a smirk, knowing by her face she hadn’t been listening and also having a suspicion of why she hadn’t been but nevertheless repeating the question again for her.
“yeah, it’s always a good feeling to score at wembley makes it that little bit special but anything to help the team out”
“well thank you alessia and well done for tonight!” you applauded with a smile as alessia nodded, “thank you babe” alessia said so causally, you quickly spinning around mouth wide open as you eyes widened.
the interview already been finished as your team off-mic’d you both. alessia with a smirk which was widening on her face, you knew she had done that on purpose.
“i love you?” she whispered, as she looked at your less than pleased look on your face.
“your on thin ice miss russo!” you warned narrowing your eyes at the blonde as she slung her arm around your shoulders guiding you both down the tunnel as you knew she was rolling her eyes at your stern tone.
“hey! it’s not my fault the person who was interviewing me happened to be my really sexy, beautiful, gorgeous girlfriend!”
