Gonna explain some stuff because I have THOUGHTS about this dude. I gave him a buncha scars because I think that between him being an alien at a facility that is doing research on aliens, he was bound to get "studied", as well as the Resonance Cascade stuff just being dangerous, I refuse to believe he came out unscathed. I know he can heal his body or whatever but I still like to think that they can't fully remove scars. I also think that Benrey would never be caught dead without a hat, big comfort item and all that. Also think they're a bit cold-natured, so they prefer to wear warmer clothes, but will occasionally wear t-shirts n whatnot. Also they have sectoral hetorochromia because I said so <3. Also also monster boss fight Benrey is is glitch-y one, just in case that wasn't clear or something. Also also also I use he/they pronouns for Benrey because I can <3

OOC: Baby Pics Of Moonwell Valley (my custom hood)

Okay, so this is an out of character post. I just recently stumbled onto the "Storytelling" folder of my custom hood by total accident and I unlocked some core memories. It's nostalgic for me, and probably not that interesting for anyone else, but I'm still gonna post them, and no one can stop me.

Be prepared, these pics were taken in game (for some reason), so they are suuuuper crispy.

Xenry and Boyona. At least you can see the original hair colors of the founders now, if you're interested in that. Fun fact, Ravvin's red hair came from Xenry. I swear, I hit the jackspot with the recessive genes.

Snake and Amana. Yeah, you can finally get introduced to the sims who died before I started this blog.

Wind and Bear. Omg, Wind looked so different.

Shandra and Zavyr. Another one of the red haired sims who's genetics I'll cry about being gone forever.

Thundera and Earthquake. I originally imagined them being these badass people while creating them, then they turned out to be one of the chillest. Hello there Earthquake! Another long gone dude. Now that I see him, I think Cloud is almost a copy of him.

Yeah... That's how this challenge plays in the start.

I actually completely forgot about this, but I let Bear beg for Wind's life, which I wouldn't let today. I think I originally did it, cause it was fricking twins (she died from birth with a mod)! I don't regret it. Maybe it's destiny that Wind ended up taking out 2 other people while she lived. It was perhaps the price for her life in the long run.

Little Feather and the even smaller Forest. I love them.

I gotta be honest, the twins are my favourite still to this day.

More Goldfinders... The hood used to have almost no trees, it was so barren.

Shandra with little Zoma who was rebelling against the dress code. I can't believe he ended up being such a good looking sim, his toddler face didn't do him justice.

Woooow, clay hair. That toddler is... I honestly can't tell if she's Maza or Azra. I think it's Azra judging from the eyebrows.

Wait, what the hell was Zoma doing with one of the Goldfinder twins?

Well, he ended up marrying Cliff, so...

Out of order pic, but the babyface Zoma is so cute... Oh no, you can see the old Hot Springs community lot in the background. It was so horrible. I decided to remove the palm trees, cause the rest of the neighbourhood's trees didn't match at all. But thinking logically? It was actually the palm trees that fit the all time summer, and not those fricking trees that are used to 4 seasons... But whatever, this is the Sims, damn it, I can do whatever I want.

LETS JUST START AT THE BEGINNING

Here in the fantasy portion of the story are:

^^These three lovelies - Members of Krielle's Rotal Family! From left to right we have:

1. Denzal - the middle child - whose magic abilities center around plants and foliage. He is especially good with handling relations with the Fair Folk

2. B - the youngest (half sibling) - whose magic allows them to absorb magical energy leaving them unscathed/unaffected (they can also use this energy to strengthen their own spells). They act as the kingdoms Archmage and right hand to their sister

3. Dianna - the Crown Princess (and Denzals' twin) - whose magic centers around water and ice, though she finds ice more practical. Shes the brains of the operation (and also the most nosy, she knows EVERYONES business)

4. Tatyenn - one year older than B - whose magic centers around lightning. Shes been friends with B since they were children, before Tatyenn was knighted and B was sent to the Faith's for mage training.

5. Taera (named for the earth goddess Taera), B's best friend. They met during Mage training became so close that when B graduated and moved back home, Taera decided to follow. Her magic centers around the earth, she's very sturdy.

6. Unillustrated, but still very important, we have a member of the Fair Folk, the Prince of Summer, Xenrys. Hes a large, dark red scaled dragon, and is Denzal's most common form of contact with the Fair Folk. (They're secretly dating)

Now, we jump ahead to the Sci-fi portion of the story, meeting:

7. Zirka - a bug based shapeshifting alien from the planet Callisto! Their magic allows them to bare their soul as a shield, manipulate it to move things around, and get into other peoples minds

8. Kriit - Zirka's bonded other half! Their magic allows them to absorb other beings souls into their own and become them, rather than just shifting their appearance to look like someone else! They can also make a "copy" of the person's soul to keep preserved in case of further need.

9. Kairi - an alien stranded on the planet Taera - Separated from her mother and brother, she sails Taeras seas on the ghost ship The Vagabond after asking Captain Raylan for help. Her magic centers around Glamours and Dreams (which are becoming more realistic by the day...). It helps her blend in with Taeras populace

10. Simar (Sim) - A native Taeran who's magic allows her to see the truth in everything, she sees Kairi for what she really is, though no one else can seem to see it. They become fast friends, and meet whenever The Vagabond is in Krielle's port

11. Orrin - First Guardian of the planet Taera, one of Captain Raylan's closest friends. His magic centers around teleporting and shielding. Hes kind of a big baby, still young and unsure of what hes doing, but he IS doing his best!!!

12. Manji - Kairi's brother (in Taeran disguise). His magic centers around dreaming and Healing, and hes a big Mamas boy. He misses his sister terribly, and honestly remembers her more than Kai remembers him or their mother :(

13. Vex - An alien from the planet Jaiper (in Taeran disguise) sent looking for Kairi and her family by Kairi's father. She found Kairi in Taeran disguise (on the right) first.

14. Another unillustrated, but still very important person: Cenia! A Kraken-like being who swims under The Vagabond and helps fend off other ships and enemies. Shes the adoptive daughter of Captain Raylan and a good friend of Kairi
