After the thunderous rush of their attack has run its course, the rhythm of adrenaline and pumping heartbeats calmed down and their injured are being seen to, after their victory, the city is quiet.

3. The sad message of the shooting stars [dmbj, pingxie fairytale AU, 4k pwp]

The nights drag themselves on, each sunrise a longer wait despite the shortening nights.

He hadn't been hired to protect this child. And yet, here he was, planning to do exactly that.

The first and most obvious pattern is that I'm bad at taking just the first sentence XD In my mind they feel like a single unit, and it felt wrong to leave them out. Also, for anyone actually looking at the links you'll also notice that numbers 2 and 4 aren't the first lines of the story-- they are the first lines I wrote for those fics, but because I was writing with other people these are my first lines. Despite the amount of co-writers number 6 is the first line of the story, because that happened to be mine

As for writing pattern: Clearly I like starting in medias res. Who needs introductions and neat openings when you can just hook your readers into the action! It's really intersting seeing them all lined up like this though, it makes me want to try different things. I'm also seeing more past tense than I was expecting ngl, I feel like I've been writing in present tense a lot recently.

Missing Scene I don't know how to put

Albert: Don't you worry, we have a backup plan in the inside so that the Government won't do anything to you

Adler: Who?

Albert: The wind is strong, isn't it?

Eurus snoring: *sleep-talking in a dream* Is my stance good Father?

Sherlock shaking her awake: Get up, I have a plan.

Eurus yawning before putting on her glasses: What? Did you finally profile her?

Sherlock nodding: Did you dream about dad?

Eurus: Fencing, I still remember it. Where's Miss Adler?

Sherlock: That's what I want to talk about.

*explosion*

Adler: Sherlock, Eurus, are you okay?

Eurus screaming: My leg!

Sherlock: *on the floor* You need run!

Adler: But-

Miss Hudson: Eurus get up!

Eurus: Go without us, we'll hold them off!

Adler: *running to get the documents*

Eurus: *stops limping* Bingo!

Sherlock: *taking the documents* What do we have here?

Eurus: Let's see!

Adler: Don't!

Eurus cocking her head: Why? Mycroft wants these documents, right?

Adler: It will change everything you know about your family.

Eurus and Sherlock: *reading it*

Eurus: *gasping* No way! Robespierre is my grandpa?!

(After the true reason why she did everything)

Adler: I wanted to fix the world, I see people like Eurus everyday who can't reach their true potential because of their enviroment.

Eurus: I don't have potential, I don't even know what I want to do.

Adler: You do have potential, I just hope I gave you a chance of freedom but my mishap lead me to my possible doom. *about to leave* thank you for everything.

Miss Hudson: I wish we could have spend more time together.

Eurus teary: I promise to continue your work. Take care Irene Adler.

(Takes place after Adler and Sherlock separate for the last time)

Eurus knowing Mycroft is going to kill her and sees a familiar guy in the street: *seeing Moran* Hey I know you, listen, can you give me ride to my older brother?

Moran: Who are you?

Eurus: Just get me there, I want to save my friend!

What are some of your favorite camren fics atm?

I haven't read any new Camren fics. I did re-read one of my most faves (The Blind Side of Love) recently, and now I'm re-reading YMMS. Been terribly busy with life, and also, I have just gotten back to the Camren fandom literally this week or last, so yeah.. Maybe soon I'll try to check out new fics
