Yama-Con Commission: Gohin (Beastars)

Just got back from Yama-Con which turned out to be quite a great convention. I met a lot of really cool people and was fortunate enough to draw some commissions for them! TIME TO SHARE ART!

First piece is a Gohin from the anime Beastars!

We just got back from YamaCon! It was my 10th year as a panelist, and I got to go with my partner this time. We’ve been working on EraserMic on and off since last Yama.

The work she’s put into that wig is astounding, and the armor was her first time working with foam. I made everything I’m wearing except the boots, and the goggles are a plexiglass pattern I designed and cut on the Glowforge. The utility pockets are lined with cat print fabric. The scarf is 30’ long.

I’m still working on more improvements and accessories, so we’ll see how it looks at ETSUcon in April!

At my first con. Currently have a print of the Xmen, American Horror Story, steampunk Google and horns for a SCU cosplay, three pairs of earrings, and a Markiplier pillow!!! As well as getting to hear and meet the voice actor from Speedwagon (he was really nice to me and my friend despite her being the only one with enough money to get an autograph)

Next Yama-Con sketch is Iruma Suzuki from Welcome to Demon School! I know nothing of this character, and I've never heard of the anime. So I hope I did the character justice!

i don’t know if anyone will see this haha but i’m wondering which wig would look better for grimmer…canonically i don’t think his undercut is darker, but it would be a cool effect with my cosplay? i think? i have a month to get everything together but i’m curious what y’all’s thoughts are.
