If not give it a try it’s a wonderful way of introducing yourself to the world of yokai in all of it combined horrors & wonders and the owner of the site has also made books about yokai and Japanese magic in the same type of art medium as the site.

Also I recently discovered a fandom tag that not oftenly used and it’s called Yokaicore but basically it mean yokai themed like these prime examples Jujutsu Kaisen, Ghostwire Tokyo and Mononoke. It shocking that no one uses it, especially on tumblr.

I’ve had some previous asks speak of some yokai and even some art commissions that I’ve done in the past (but thankfully they didn’t need in depth information to complete with grace) yet I’ve found it so hard to find places to properly read about japanese folklore like this; this website is just perfect! I’m going to spend so much time here for sure. thank you anon ^^
