Reverse unpopular opinion ask for young royals! What moment do you love most in each season?

OUGH I FORGOT I REBLOGGED THAT BUT WHEE!!!

Season 1: i think my favorite moment is probably the morning after scene in s1e5! it is just so soft and joyous and sweet and such a wonderful capture of them together.

Season 2: oooooo i kinda want to say the locker room argument between Wille and Simon in s2e4! as much as it hurts, i love the energy in the scene and i love seeing them both finally confronting things they hadn't been able to before. it is such a huge step in them learning about each other.

Season 3: this one is really hard bc i have definitely not rewatched s3 nearly as much as the other two, but i'm going to go with the scene in s3e6 at the party between Sara and August actually!! just for now!! looking back at it, that scene just means so much to me because it is such an important step for Sara, and more than that it's an important thing for people to be able to see. even in a show about how love can conquer all (ik that's a way over-simplification but shh) it shows that sometimes, even when the love is there, it isn't the best thing for either person. and we see it paralled with Wille and Simon of course, but i think it's more important in the Sara/August scene because they don't get back together in the end. there is no final victory moment where they triumph and get everything they wanted. their love is a tragedy!!

What is up with the endings of the young royals episodes?

Like seriously, was the writers only goal to give me as much pain as they possibly could? I mean really:

s1e1: “let’s just gaze longingly into each others eyes while I make fun of your name”

s1e2: “let’s make out in secret, but not, like, process and deal with it like normal people”

s1e3: “I will pepper in the fact that your brother is dead”

s1e4: (a la phineas and ferb) “mom! Wille forgot to close the goddamn curtains and now august has a video of wille and Simon!”

s1e5: “oh fuck a s** tape got posted of us what do we do now”

s1e6: “I love you” “hope you have a nice Christmas”
