TOMORROW X TOGETHER Prepping 7th Mini Album, ‘The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY’
Tumblr media
The group's follow-up to April's "Minisode 3: Tomorrow" drops next month.
K-pop boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER are gearing up to release their seventh mini-album, The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY. The latest release from Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai is due out on Nov. 4, seven months after the group’s previous mini, minisode 3: TOMORROW.
According to a release, The Star Chapter will usher in “a new phase of their artistic journey as K-pop‘s visual storytellers.” That promise was teased further in a 20-second promo video that dropped on Sunday (Oct. 6) which features a flaming cartoon version of the star X logo from minisode 3transforming into a celestial diamond shape floating in space as the pieces come together and zip through the cosmos before a series of three twinkling stars unite above the band’s name and the album title.
“The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY will open a new chapter in Gen Z Icons’ one-of-a-kind narrative, building upon the intriguing saga established throughout The Dream Chapter [2019] The Chaos Chapter [2021] and The Name Chapter [2023],” reads the release in reference to three of the group’s previous studio albums.
Earlier this year, the innovative group announced their first-ever virtual reality concert, HYPERFOCUS : TOMORROW X TOGETHER VR CONCERT, an immersive event that found the five singers offering superfans a more up-close-and-personal view during screenings in California and Texas; the final run of shows will continue through Oct. 13 in Chicago with the experience winding down its run from Oct. 17-Nov. 10 in New York.
The group also cooked up an anthem to soundtrack Samsung’s latest Galaxy series, “Open Always Wins,” this summer, with lyrics penned by members Sobin, Yeonjun, Taehyun and HueningKai.
Check out the album logo animation below.

I got the pride rainbow patent doc martens for only 70$ AUD on depop nobody talk to me these have been my dream shoes for YEARSS. And they're the molly's!! I was looking for either the Molly or the 1461 in the rainbow patent (with a platform obvi I only wear platforms) but Molly was the first choice for sure, and they literally for perfectly like exactly my size.
I'm so happy 😭😭 I remember a friend got a pair off of eBay in like 2020 and I was so obsessed that I've been on the hunt since, but I could never find them in my size in Australia and affordable. But these were so cheap, and they seem to only have been worn like a really small handful of times (seller said they barely wore them BC they couldn't break them in or they didn't fit right, I don't remember).
Anyways this is gonna be my personality for a long minute, or at least until my new converse (all star trekwave z hi - sage) get here on the 20th. I am so glad I'm actually building my closet up before I go to Melbourne next year 😭
They're so perfect ugh. I have been getting so many things I love lately. Both the I Did and ACC Yves shirts (ACC shirt (+light stick) will be here in like July or August idk since I'm going to the Yves concert in Sydney at the end of August), p1harmony DUH tshirt, f5ve underground lyrics t-shirt, etc etc.. like I am so lucky I can buy these things while still being able to pay board and put most of my pay into my savings.
This just turned into me talking but I'm so glad I have financial freedom now and that I won't be so desperate to spend money once I'm actually paying full rent in my own place once I move for uni in Feb, like I have what I need. I even got the IU flower bookmark 3 remake CDP. Like. No joke I actually managed to score one I literally jumped for joy. I just feel so lucky. I have the things I've wanted to be able to get for ages and that I thought I'd never be able to buy. Like wdym I have like 7 K-pop albums?? I had none a couple months ago. I'm gonna get the Aphmau posts I want one day as well, maybe after the Yves concert since I've sworn not to spend really anymore money so I can save basically all of it since I need to get my train tickets and hotel room for the Yves concert soon (probably next paycheque). I luv being responsible

I love your readings! There so fun to read, feels more realistic and fun.
Its also nice to see a fellow older/above 23 fan. I wonder I find tarot fascinating, could you ask or do a reading on yourself? Like that sounds really weird but I always wondered for people who can do tarot readings is it possible to just be like hey universe or you say you work with goddesses, like goddesses what do you think my energy is or how do I come off to you Exedra? Then like get an answer from them and if so is it fairly accurate like does it come off like wow that's exactly how I come off as or is it more of a random interpretation something's fit something still. I hope that made sense I'm just really curious. But keep up the good work I love the readings and can't wait to see which other ones you do!
Again I love when you guys love the way I do my readings. Hello fellow older K-pop fan. Also I feel you I definitely feel like personally online I really interact with other people who are like or see other people who are like over the age of like 203 and actually for me I feel like it's normally like 22 21 that are into K-pop or talk about it. Very rarely not that they don't exist I know they do cuz again I've gone to concerts and I've seen people as old as being in like their 50s and 60s. I think it's a combination of a generational thing and then just how you grew up. Like I grew up older gen Z but then all of my younger siblings are mid to younger agency so I feel like I picked up on a lot of shit that they do and so I'm in a really weird in between place because of where my actual ages on the way I move and do things online and in real life.
As for the question yeah you could. I don't think I ever have actually sat down and asked Aphrodite or Nyx how they perceive me or how other people might perceive me. But this sounds so fucking interesting so now I think I'm going to do it. You probably didn't expect me to do that but here we are here it is. A reading on myself on how the goddesses that I work with and the universe see me and how apparently other people perceive me. This will be interesting and who knows maybe I will learn something about myself.
Tumblr media
“So I Asked the Universe… Who TF Am I Really?”
channeling Aphrodite, Nyx, and the stars themselves
So I sat down, music on shuffle (thank you, NewJeans)—and just ASKED.
“Aphrodite, Nyx, universe… be so for real with me. Who am I? What’s my energy? How do I come off—even when I don’t realize it?”
They Delivered!
Tumblr media
I’m Not Just A Vibe. I’m The Whole Damn Spell.
According to the cosmos, I’m like a storm wrapped in lace.
Beautiful? ABSOLUTELY
But predictable? NEVER
People don’t “get” me at first. I confuse them. They don’t know whether to fall in love or run in the opposite direction and honestly...both are valid reactions.
Venus & Uranus in my energy means I’m charming in a way that’s not even traditional. I rewrite the standard. I walk into a room and shake up the frequency.
Mercury and Gemini reversed? Let’s just say people THINK I’m an open book but darling, I’m written in metaphors, and they’re illiterate.
Tumblr media
To Others, I’m Mysterious As Hell—and It Works For Me.
People don’t know if I’m their dream or their lesson.
(Spoiler: I’m probably both.)
I give off that “she knows something you don’t” energy.
(Very, I know something you don't. I know something you will never know. If you know you know.)
I feel everything, your moods, your lies, your little emotional hiccups and I file it away behind a sly smile. “Sensitive Antenna”? Absolutely.
But I don’t let just anyone into my inner world.
You gotta earn it. And even then, I might disappear just to see if you notice.
(So far I agree with all of this clearly the goddesses know exactly who the fuck I am. So far also I would pay off of this is probably also one of my toxic traits. Especially if I feel like I'm hitting in slightly more effort than someone else in a friendship or a relationship high possibility because I let you into my inner worlds and then you're acting weird like this I might just sit there and try and ghost your ass to see if you would even notice. Honestly it's how most of my toxic friendships or friendships that are turning toxic ended because all of a sudden I picked up on the fact that this isn't Mutual checking in on each other anymore so I'm just going to ghost bitch and then it's like oh you haven't reached out to me or try to see anything but then as soon as I text you it's like oh my God yeah I was doing X Y and Z this whole time and excuses and other dumb shit that normally pop up. Like I'm not going to lie I have probably changed my phone number over a dozen times just within like the last two years of high school and like my first two years of University alone. I don't just block people I will get an entirely new number, along with an entirely new group of people outside of whoever the hell is connected to you which yeah it sounds very toxic about it. But my peace of mind is worth it)
Tumblr media
Let’s talk my spiritual journey… 'cause whew.
The Wildwood deck came for my neck and kissed my third eye.
I've carried burdens I had no business carrying.
I’ve been the safe space for people who couldn’t hold ME the same way.
I’ve been alone in a crowd. I’ve wanted connection so badly it ached but settled for silence instead.
But here's the thing: I still chose softness.
I still dream big.
I still believe in magic.
I still believe love is coming and when it does, it’ll meet me exactly where I am.
(Holy hell I really do want to thank whoever this Anonymous person is who made me even think about doing this. Because holy shit do I feel like I'm being seen but also Redtube at the same time and it's kind of equal parts exciting and equal parts low key intimidating. Then again that's probably why I work for these two goddesses in the first place.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And Tarot? Tarot said I'm THAT girl.
Ace of Wands, Three of Wands, the World?
I'm a visionary. I create. I manifest. I move in alignment with a purpose bigger than myself.
But let’s not lie sometimes I self-sabotage (hello King of Pentacles reversed & trauma.) I delay my own shine because I worry I’m not “ready.”
Guess what? I’ve BEEN ready.
My heart? Deep. Loyal. Romantic.
But not just anyone gets access to it.
Page of Cups and Moon reversed? I feel more than I say, and when I DO say it… it’s poetry, baby.
What Aphrodite and Nyx whispered to me:
“You are not ‘too much.’ You are too rare.”
“You are the mirror and the muse.”
“You don’t owe anyone your softness. Let it be earned.”
“Dream big. Bigger. No—BIGGER, babe. The universe is listening.”
Tumblr media
The Vibes From Newjeans? Oh, They Were Prophetic.
“Right Now” – I don’t care about the other summer.
I’m not here to relive old seasons. I want something real. Right now.
“Supernatural” – In a moment, we unite.
I don’t fall for people. I collide with them. I fuse souls. I alter timelines.
Numbers that followed me: 6 & 4.
I’m meant to build love and stability but on my terms. No half-effort allowed.
My Over All Vibez According To The Goddesses :
I’m not meant to blend in. I’m meant to inspire. To awaken.
I make people feel things they’ve buried deep. I bring up shadows, but I also shine light.
I’m not everyone’s cup of tea but I’m someone’s obsession.
And if you’re lucky enough to be loved by me…
Just know, you’ve been touched by the divine.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That was... Fun not going to lie that was actually pretty darn fun Journey took a while to get there. I might do something like this once a month for one of you lovely people out there. Could I do think it does help to kind of bring into perspective you as a person and your personality flash how people might view you and see you. Personally I feel like this actually made lots of sense and some of it definitely aligned a hell of a lot with things that have happened to me on multiple occasions personally when it comes to people and interactions and shit like that and it makes more sense now.
I also feel like doing this will help some of y'all get to know me a little better because I trip over my own words all of the damn time with trying to explain things. But also with trying to be transparent without feeling like I'm being too much which apparently I'm not being or so Aphrodite & Nyx stated. But I wasn't planning on doing this today but then I saw this just like I did with a couple other people who were just being so fucking nice and telling me how much they enjoyed my reading some stuff which meant that wanted to get back to y'all. But I am also planning on hopefully tonight at some point it's like 6 p.m. at the moment, to get a reading done an in-depth one using myself as an example again on just like what I need and would work and what Aphrodite beliefs would be best for me in terms of like a romantic relationship. I kind of did something similar for my birthday post but it wasn't an in-depth one along with like examples of possible Idols it could be because again someone else had also sent me an ask about actually like three people did about possibly doing things like that like I come compatibility readings and shit like that and I did make us post that I have scheduled to go up but a little preview here I might do that maybe once or twice a month at random they'll be like a little guessing game or something like that for you guys and whoever the lucky people are I probably wouldn't do more than like two or three just because of how in-depth this would be again it wouldn't be like giving away anything about you it'd be about the type of person that you would need or that would work really well with you and then like your compatibility in terms of what celebrities would work. The ones that would just be straight up picked by Aphrodite and then you could also probably give me like one or two groups that you're into and then I'll also give you one or two members from said groups that could be a possibility. Again there's nothing wrong with being a little delusional matter of fact we all need to be it's what helps keep the world turning you just also have to make sure that you're a little realistic with your DeLulu moments.

I salute the brave Greek singer Despina Vandi 👏- who refused to go on stage in Turkey, because of hanging a photo of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Dear Despina Vandi Anon,
As promised, here is your audio. It should count as Sunday's delivery for the vast majority of this fandom's time zones, so expect another one the week that just started, on a different topic - Anons never cease to amaze me:
I very much doubt our readers know who Despina is, so I'll make a proper introduction:
youtube
Yeah, she'd like to think of herself as Greece's Taylor Swift, but the honest truth is her decent voice serves the cause of bubble-gummy Balkan turbo pop. The kind of forgettable BS you hear on a beach, somewhere around Paralia Katerini, Anon. My favorite in Greece, Kambos Beach, on Patmos, will give you Janis Joplin instead, and I love those guys to bits for that.
But anyhow, the topic is serious, even if the event itself might sound as just another starlet's whim. What happened was immediately instrumentalized by the press on both sides of the Great Post-Ottoman Divide, simply because we are dealing here with fundamental identity tropes - handle with care, always.
In a nutshell, on July 17th, Despina Vandi was scheduled to appear in concert in the (otherwise positively sleepy) town of Çeşme, on the South-western coast of Turkey. The problem with Çeşme is double: a) it is near Izmir, formerly known as Smyrna, before the early-ish days of the Turkish Republic, in 1930, and the epicenter of the troubled transition from the sultan's powerless despotism to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's aggressively secular autocracy. And to add insult to injury, b) it is a municipality run by the left-wing CHP, the main opponent to Erdoğan's overbearing political project. The New Sultan's dream clashes mightily with the Founding Father's ambition of an emancipated, literate Turkey. So much so in fact, that one might see a mild rebellion gesture in the fact that the organizers thought fit to decorate the stage with a Turkish flag and Mustafa Kemal's portrait - something you see pretty much everywhere in today's Turkey, from libraries to pastry shops, to be honest. What followed is emotionally logical: Vandi abruptly canceled her appearance, because she felt that her performance was politically manipulated and the mayor of Çeşme angrily invited her to get out of his town ASAP, because he felt that nobody puts Baby Atatürk in a corner.
Vandi's reaction is entirely faithful to the Byzantine centuries-long tradition of defiance and spite towards the Turks. The Mayor's reaction is an irked reply to the uncomfortable situation of losing face because and in front of a woman singer, who showed utter disrespect for the Father Figure in the room. But beyond the heated, almost farcical argument we are perhaps talking about what Jay-Z called an 'Empire state of mind'. 'Never the twain shall meet', to respond to the golden-fanged rapper with some Kipling. At least since the evening of that fateful day of May 30th 1453, when Constantinople finally capitulated in fear, fire and collective trauma to the Ottomans.
Steven Runciman sums up best that feeling of cosmic impending doom:
"The month of May was drawing to a close; and in the gardens and the hedgerows the roses were now in bloom. But the moon was waning, and the men and women of Byzantium, the ancient city whose symbol had been the moon, prepared themselves to meet the crisis that all knew to be upon them." (The Fall of Constantinople)
The Greek mind never quite came to terms with that feeling of being under siege. The Ottoman (and post-Ottoman) mind never quite came to terms with the imposter syndrome that ensues a cursed victory. Its genuine administrative genius that ensured for hundreds of years an almost complete domination of the Levantine world failed to adapt itself to the industrial and bourgeois revolutions of the Nineteenth century. Despite that very costly Berlin-Bagdad railway, the train of modernization was never caught at a moment that could ensure the political survival of its Empire.
But an Empire is never completely dead and done with. As Philip K. Dick famously wrote in VALIS, one of his most strange novels, 'The Empire never ends'. He was, of course, talking about the Roman Empire and how he bizarrely felt about its timeline overlapping with the Watergate Scandal. Yet, despite the clearly psychotic inspiration of that book, I think he was onto something. An Empire never ends, to the extent that its faint echoes still inform even the most apparently trivial news of our own reality.
But this, I suspect you might know better than me, Anon, judging from the tone of your comment. In that case, γεια σας και σας ευχαριστούμε πάρα πολύ για την υπομονή σας.

Elvis Presley - The Sun Sessions
This is the Elvis that had teens swooning and parents in fits. It's not hard to see why Sam Phillips got dollar signs in his eyes after hearing this Elvis. He's got energy, it's a little rough and rowdy while still being commercially viable (read: white). Elvis on these tracks has something that later recordings lacked: heart. Elvis sounds like he's having fun and it makes them pop more. Makes it so they are his own interpretations of songs instead of just being good but inferior attempts. I'll go to bat for Elvis' Sun Records recordings any day.
Tumblr media
The Who - Who's Next
After the success of Tommy, Pete Townsend got really, really wrapped up in an incoherent rock opera, multimedia... thing called Lifehouse that might have involved living in a commune with concert attendees. This obviously didn't go anywhere, but Townsend did have a nervous breakdown trying to explain his idea and then they just released the songs they had written for Lifehouse as a regular album and that's what Who's Next is. Who's Next is an incredible album, but it really is about opener Baba O' Riley and closer Won't Get Fooled Again. The middle of the album is great, but honestly I think this album is overrated among rock critics. The songs are memorable and catchy, but a little hollow. Don't get me wrong it's still a 9/10 but Tommy is an 11/10 so I'm not sure why Who's Next is consistently rated above it.
Tumblr media
Curtis Mayfield - Superfly
There are a lot of good film soundtracks out there. And there are a lot of film soundtracks that ate very listenable on their own as albums. But Curtis Mayfield blew the concept of the film score as album out of the water with Superfly. The funky grooves and crisp falsetto are standard for Mayfield but he knows where exactly to keep the vocals in the background and when to pull them forward, where to keep the groove low and when to bring in the horns or guitar. Songs like Freddie's Dead and Pusherman sound like they could be any funk single from the era, but knowing they're songs from a film soundtrack lets you hear how it works as both things.
Tumblr media
Aretha Franklin - Lady Soul
Aretha Franklin was a champion at just styling on other artists songs. An incredible gospel rendition of Curtis Mayfield's People Get Ready, an even more biting version of James Brown's Money Won't Change You, an more authentically soulful version of The Rascal's Groovin'. But honestly two originals on this album blow everything else out of the water: the Goffen and King penned (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman and the masterpiece Chain Of Fools. Two of Franklin's best songs.
Tumblr media
Kanye West - The College Dropout
https://youtu.be/wvgehVhF9D4
https://youtu.be/e7e5BFJa-Ug
Once upon a time the now infamous Kanye West was an up and coming kid in corny polo shirts producing for Jay-Z and dreaming of having his own rap career. The tecord label higher ups were reluctant to give him a shot until his debut single Through The Wire. Kanye rapped with his jaw wired shut after a car accident and that determination comes through. Roc-A-Feller gave him an album deal and nothing was ever the same again. Mythologizing aside, I think this album is obviously inferior to Late Registration. When I saw that album on the list I naturally assumed they would just skip The College Dropout. It's still a masterpiece though. Kanye is an incredibly yalented rapper, but since production was his first love he obviously has beats that elevate his style in a way that other artists can't touch. Before College Dropout we just didn't hear beats like the ones on The New Workout Plan, Jesus Walks, or We Don't Care.

entry 6 (10/20/24): over the past few days I’ve listened to a lot of one direction. it’s been a blast listening to their music again, bringing back lots of memories, and reconnecting with some people I haven’t talked to in a while simply because they were also fans of 1D. I’ve had tons of thoughts about all of this. a lot of 1D fans were Gen Z girls like myself, we were young when the internet and social media really started to blow up and gain traction, we grew up listening to their music and watching them grow too. and it’s really hard to see a light go out like that. there is so much I could talk about on the subject of fame, but I’d rather ramble on about something personal. this is my dream journal and vent diary after all.
I was about 8 years old when I got “into” one direction. I remember the day quite clearly, looking back on it I think it was really my first proper introduction to fandom spaces and culture. my best friend at the time asked if I knew who one direction was during recess, and i cant really remember what i said but it was either "no" or "ive heard of them on the radio" because then she told me all about them and how they should be my favorite musical artist like hers. we stopped playing our little make believe game and sat down by one of the playground slides and i learned who they were. i confessed my loyalty to justin bieber as i knew an astounding 2 songs by him. I didn’t really listen to music like I do now at the time, I just listened to whatever played on the radio, what my parents put in the car cd player, whatever played during ad breaks on Disney channel (does anyone remember that? they had little animated videos with pop songs playing, I’d hear a song on there and tell my mom I liked it and it would magically appear on the iPod later that day since me liking a song was a rare occurrence), or the songs that played in Phineas and Ferb. my music taste wasn’t really my own.
but it all changed that day. my best friend told me there was 5 members, I could pick a favorite and it could be anyone but niall since he was her favorite. I didn’t know anything about them but she suggested my favorite be zayn since he looked like Justin Bieber. looking at pictures now I don’t see the resemblance at all, but 8 year old me was sold. I went home and watched one direction music videos and soon had a number of songs that I liked by them. I soon could recognize all of them and tell you their name. I could hear a song on the radio and be like “oh one direction, I like them!” and for the first time in my 8 years I had a music artist I liked.
so I was a loyal directioner. I watched every new music video when they came out and my friend and I would spend hours watching the videos together too. I didn’t really have many friends at the time, in fact I was teased at school at the time, but now I had something else to share with my best friend. now I won’t claim to be the biggest fan or anything, I definitely wasn’t, I didn’t know that they had a concert in my city until my friend told me all about it the day after. I was a bit jealous but I had never been to a concert before so no big deal, I was happy watching the music videos and seeing what fans were saying in the YouTube comment section. that was pretty much the extent of what I did as a fan, listen to their music, talk with my friend about them, occasionally write/doodle in my notebooks, etc. Anytime a song of theirs played on the radio my parents would turn up the volume for me, this continued through 2016.
but then zayn left the band. that is when I truly got my first fandom experience. suddenly I was all over conspiracy videos and fansites at the age of 10 in 2015 trying to cope with other fans about zayn leaving. I over analyzed “clues” and “hints” about zayn coming back and excitedly sent them to my friend and even to my other friends who weren’t into one direction and would text me things like “I don’t like one direction so I don’t care” back. like the over analyzing and hoops I jumped through with these fake clues were on swiftie levels of delulu with the whole numbers thing, lol. but yeah. my introduction to true fandom culture.
Later that year I entered 5th grade and that was when people started to “listen” to music more and share their Spotify account usernames with each other at my school. we were allowed to listen to music in our study halls so suddenly I was signing up for a Spotify account and needed to populate my playlist. I put some top hits that I liked from hearing them on the radio and of course one direction.
they were my first introduction to fandom culture and my first boyband. A few years later and I was obsessed with BTS and had my boyband experience with 1D to put to use. thank you 1D for introducing fandom to me if in an unintentional way.
seeing everyone’s posts with their 1D merch and at concerts as kids, I wasn’t really that kid since I chose the my little pony or cat shirt over any other shirt. I didn’t have any merch, just memories of watching the music videos over and over again. makes me feel a bit of a “lesser” fan even though I know that’s ridiculous to think, as they hold a special place in my heart. love you 1D, love you liam. 🫶
p.s: midnight memories goes so hard

Beyoncé's Reign: A Decade of Dominance
Tumblr media
Queen Bey
Say the name "Beyoncé," and instantly, images come to mind of powerful vocals, electrifying dance moves, and a stage presence that commands attention. But who is the woman behind the crown? Let's dive deeper into the private life, career, and future of Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, the multi-hyphenate artist who's redefined what it means to be a superstar.   From Girl's Dream to Destiny's Child Born in Houston, Texas, in 1981, Beyoncé's love for music blossomed early. From singing in church choirs to performing in talent shows, her talent was undeniable. By the age of nine, she formed Destiny's Child with her friends, launching a journey that would propel them to become one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Hits like "Say My Name" and "Independent Women" cemented their place in pop music history, showcasing Beyoncé's powerful vocals and infectious energy.

In 2003, she embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut album, "Dangerously in Love." The album was a smash hit, spawning popular tracks like "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy," showcasing her songwriting skills and artistic evolution. From R&B ballads to hip-hop collaborations, Beyoncé proved her versatility, solidifying her status as a force to be reckoned with.   Beyond Music and Building Her Empire Beyoncé's reach extends far beyond music. She's a successful businesswoman, launching her own clothing line, fragrance, and Production Company. Her visual albums, like "Beyoncé" and "Black Is King," push artistic boundaries and explore themes of race, feminism, and empowerment. She's also a vocal advocate for social justice issues, using her platform to fight for equality and inspire change.

Love, Marriage, and Motherhood
In 2008, Beyoncé married rapper Jay-Z, forming a power couple that redefined the meaning of celebrity love. They've weathered storms and emerged stronger, raising three beautiful children together. Beyoncé openly celebrates motherhood, showcasing the joys and struggles of raising a family while navigating the demands of her career. This balance between personal and professional life resonates deeply with fans, making her a relatable role model.   100 Million Albums Sold Worldwide! That’s a whole lot of Beyonce! For example, if you laid 100 million tons of beans down on the ground, they’d reach a quarter of the way around the earth. Makes you feel kind of small right!? (As well as a bit hungry!) But well done anyway Beyonce!   She performed at Barack Obama’s Inauguration! An inauguration is when a president gets the official title of president, so it must have been a huge honor for Beyonce to perform there - even more so because Barack Obama was the first Black US President! Beyonce has spoken a lot about how we need to get rid of racism, so nice one! Feels good to be good right?

Beyonce Mrs. Carter show. Photo By Koeni Ssey. Flickr. Beyoncé, the feminist! She strongly thinks that boys and girls should be given equal chances to live their lives - and that women should be able to do whatever they want with their lives, which isn’t that much to ask right? Beyonce gives lots to charities that support this work, so she's putting her money where her mouth is, good on her we say!   Pride of Place on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! There aren’t many marks of success bigger than that and in 2006 she was invited to put her name down on that famous walk! These fabulous stars are made of brass and set into the floor themselves, but which will last longer, the star of Beyonce’s fame? We think most probably Beyonce!   Beyonce created a stage name called ‘Sasha Fierce’! She says that she did this so that she could keep her stage performer different from who she is as a person at home. It also helps her get over any nerves she has before a show, but she simply goes into ‘Sasha Mode’ - pretty clever!

The Ever-Evolving Queen: What's Next?
With each album and project, Beyoncé reinvents herself. Her 2022 single "Break My Soul" marked a return to her house music roots, proving her ability to stay fresh and relevant. So, what does the future hold for the Queen Bey? Whether it's a new album, a world tour, or ventures into filmmaking, one thing's for sure: Beyoncé will continue to push boundaries, entertain millions, and inspire generations to come.

It's a testament to hard work, dedication, and the unwavering belief in oneself. Here are some key takeaways from her multifaceted life. Dream big and chase your passions: Beyoncé started young, honing her talent and pursuing her dreams with unwavering conviction. TOMORROW X TOGETHER On Their First Time Meeting, Performing in Singapore And More
Tumblr media
Everything you need to know about K-pop’s Gen Z darlings
Since making their highly anticipated debut in 2019, TOMORROW X TOGETHER has made waves with their energetic, youthful sound and dynamic dance performances. This weekend, the group finally brought their ACT: SWEET MIRAGE tour to Singapore, in their first-ever concert in the city. Below, the band’s five members tell BAZAAR all about their first times, from what made them fall in love with music in the first place to the first impressions their bandmates left on them.
When was the first time you realised you wanted to become singers?
Hueningkai: For the three of us (Soobin, Yeonjun, Hueningkai), it was more or less the same. We took part in music and performance-related club activities in middle school, and would perform during school festivals.
Yeonjun: The experience of being on stage and delivering the song you’ve been working so hard on, having everybody cheer for you—it’s incredible. Nobody can forget that. So from then on, we decided music was what we wanted to do.
Beomgyu: I was really young and was watching a movie called August Rush. The kid in there, played by Freddie Highmore, is really incredible with the guitar. I thought it was so cool, and sooner or later, it was my new dream to become someone who can touch others with music.
Taehyun: I was watching a newly released music video with my sister. The group was SHINee. Watching them sing and dance like that made me want to give it a try, and here I am.
Soobin: Yeah, the idea that it was something we wanted to do just came to us very organically. My parents always loved listening to music in the car, and we also had friends around our age who loved K-pop. We knew that doing music was a possibility and we all took it. I’m glad we did.
Is this your first time in Singapore? What do you love about touring here?
Yeonjun: Yes! We’re here on tour for the first time, and it feels incredible to be here. I know some of our fans here have been waiting for this show for a long while and I just want to make sure they know that we’ve been eagerly awaiting this night as well. We’re really happy to be here.
Taehyun: We keep our eyes and ears out. The best thing about being on tour here in Singapore is definitely the fans. They’re so passionate already. Also, it’s beautiful here. You have the Marina Bay Sands, one of the world’s iconic architectures, and really good food as well. We’re having a great time.
You’re set to be the first K-pop group to headline Lollapalooza. How does it feel?
Beomgyu: You can ask any of us. LOLLAPALOOZA last year was definitely one of the most memorable events of our 2022. The crowds were passionate and so were we. We were reminded yet again of why we love being in music so much. We’re really honoured to be invited back to the festival for the second year in a row, this time as headliner. All I can say is, it’s going to be a fantastic show so you better be there.
Tell us about your latest EP, The Name Chapter: Temptation. Are there any notable firsts on the album?
Hueningkai: I guess one song that we want to draw your ears to is “Happy Fools (feat. Coi Leray).” We all wrote lyrics to Yeonjun’s melody, so in that sense, it’s a very TOMORROW X TOGETHER-ish song. We’re really proud of this one and happy we can work on such good songs together.
What about this latest tour? How does it feel to perform certain songs for the first time?
Soobin: Without revealing too much for any of our fans who want to keep the show a surprise for when they actually get there… I want to say this tour and the songs we’re performing really mark our youth. If you feel that you’re also in your youth right now, you’ll be able to really connect and relate to the songs.
youtube
Do you remember the first time you all met one another?
Beomgyu: We’re all going to say the same thing for Yeonjun. We joined the company and he was already “BIGHIT Legendary Trainee Yeonjun Choi” since he was really good at everything. Soobin was really, really tall so he stuck out a lot since we were all young and therefore much shorter than we are now. He always liked to reach out and take care of others. Taehyun had huge eyes, and had random talents like magic tricks. He’s also very smart.
Soobin: Beomgyu was really shy for just one day but we soon found out just how energetic he can be. He really brightens up the mood. Hueningkai was really young, basically a baby but look how he’s grown now.
Lastly, what career firsts are you still looking forward to in the future?
Taehyun: TOMORROW X TOGETHER is just getting started. We have a great team here with incredible trust, synergy, and friendship and I can’t wait to see what else we can achieve together.
Hueningkai: We want to become a group with a unique signature sound that anyone can recognise. I want people to hear our music and immediately know, ‘hey, that’s TOMORROW X TOGETHER.’ I guess we want to become a staple for all youth who are experiencing growing up.
Yeonjun: We’re still here now, but we’ll also be back again sooner than you know. And you won’t be disappointed.
