Valengender was coined by anamika/Fandom user Cryptocrew on February 14, 2021.
Valengender is described as “a aesthetigender in which ones gender is tied to valentines day, romance, romantic activity, romantic aesthetics and valentines day aesthetics. Anyone could use this term, whether or not they experience romantic attraction, so long as they feel a deep gendered connection to romance and valentines day. This term has multiple definitions. The first definition is a mutogender that only is felt during valentines day, marriage/dating anniversaries, while watching romantic TV, while reading romantic stories, or when in a romantic aesthetic. It may be attracted to all of these romantic aesthetics/days/situations, only a few of them, or only one of them, depending on the person. The second definition is a gender that 'turns on' and 'turns off' when one is around romantic settings. For example, a valenby may find romantic anime to be their 'trigger,' and they may remain feeling non-binary until they watch a romantic anime once again. The third definition is a gender that fluctuates or changes when in a romantic setting. The fourth and final definition is a xenogender that feels romantic, loving, passionate, flirtatious or adoring. It may feel this way all the time, or it may only feel this way during Valentines day or other romantic situations.”

Calenderic: A gender that is similar to a calender. It changes regularly and may have certain schedualed “events” or genders, aspects, etc. that happen on certain dates.
These schedualed changes can be annual (like birthdays), semi-annual (like the Olympics), one off (like certain meetings or parties), or anything in between or beyond.
The regular changes don’t have to be consistent and can have the only regular thing about them being the change itself. This gender also doesn’t have to change on the days of the week, just regularly.
The changes can be changing gender, only changing parts of the gender, changing ‘aspects’ (masculine, outherine, etc.), fluctuating in intensity, etc. Basically anything. This can be used as a gender on its own, or as a way to describe one’s overall gender.
~~~
The colors are just meant to generally represent differences, with the pattern shifting and repeating to avoid the flag looking too scattered or being overwhelming.
I mainly coined this for myself, but I figured that based on the existance of Worldgender and other similar terms, I couldn’t be the only one that experienced this.
Anyone who wants to coin more specific subsets for this, go ahead!
