Yall should know that im not a glory hunter when i support france nt, i was simply cursed by being born in summer '98, the year mbappe was born and france won the world cup which im sure my mother watched in the final stage of pregnancy and it forever altered my brain

for something a little different, here’s a bunch of the ‘runner-ups’ in the stranger who was your self title card line up (plus the final version in the middle).

I really had no idea of what to do with this one going into it, other than the vibes I wanted was ‘kind of melencholy, but also hopeful’. Top left was the very first design I did and I like it a lot! But unfortunately it just felt very aesthetic and not at all tied to Eadwulf’s story.

From there I dabbled with the idea of using pictures of people- or parts of people (as seen in the top right)- and I liked the idea of trying to highlight Eadwulf’s black coat as a character piece as a big part of the story was inspired by the hashtag vibes of the Asha’man of the Wheel of Time series. This eventually led to the final design.

Bottom left was thrown together as ‘maybe?’ but upon finishing it just felt tacky.

Bottom right was nearly the winner, as I really liked the bared teeth on the dog with an open mouth like this, but ultimately I didn’t like the breed of dog to make it representitive of Eadwulf AND the final design had a bit more of the vibes I was going for and felt like a great blend of the aesthetic of Eadwulf being dangerous, but also his tender heart.

(also a reminder that we aren’t going to talk about the fact that the heart graphic is backwards bc i have the free canva account and theres only so much i can do lmao.)

Going to some bitches blog via someone else's Hazbin blog, because I tried to like/reblog their meta but tumblr wouldn't let me, and then I find out the reason why it wouldn't let me is because the OP of the meta apparently blocked me, but I've never seen or interacted with them before, but OP has like a video game icon and a fucking moving gif video game graphic of like a damn nuclear explosion for a header on top of that going off anyway, and I'm trying to read through her other Hazbin posts but I can't focus, because I'm distracted by a goddamn fucking nuclear explosion taking place above me that won't stop and just as I'm thinking "OP, that was such good meta why would you hurt my eyes and brain like this? Alas, you have a video game character for an icon, I should've known!" and in all my disorientation from that seizure trigger waiting to happen, I happen to glance at the upper right corner of her blog and clock there's no follow button for me, and it's just like, "Alright, your loss, Toots! Man at some point I should maybe sit down and sort out a pinned post for my fic stuff, huh. Especially since I now have two whole Tumblr-exclusive fics that are gonna need posts with all the links in there so people can find the parts without dealing with the tag system (and without me needing to link to every single part manually each post).

But god that's so much work... especially since I also don't want to make a side blog or anything for the masterposts because I honestly don't care that much, but that makes it annoying to alert for updates on the thing...
