Okay firstly I’m not Australian and before I watched hbh I’ve never heard of eshays (also not British so no clue about roadman either) and even now I only know about them in the fictional sense.

But everything I read about them makes me think that is rather hard to actually become one, especially one being kind of respected. Which Ca$h arguably is. Chook lets him get away with more stuff than others it seems (Ca$h lost the clothes/money and Chook let him just pay him back, which sure isn’t easy but he actually didn’t harm him for that, he punched him in the face bc Ca$h put himself between Chook and the boy). Chook also really seems to have trusted Ca$h and had some deeper bond with him, one that Ca$h reciprocated.

While we don’t know the details, Chook evidently was the person who helped Ca$h. He got him out of his troubled home, got him a family and trust and somewhere to belong. Gave him a name to be respected. And all this apparently before Ca$hs Nan was in the picture. So Ca$h had no one but Chook. So to get to the point Ca$h and Chook have a complex relationship, in which being eshays is just one part but one that definitely makes it even more difficult to get out of it.

And so I don’t understand how Darren, Harper and Amerie expect Ca$h to simply cut the eshays and especially Chook off. Like they seem to understand that they are dangerous but expect Ca$h to just walk away from them without facing consequences? Ca$h isn’t just some runner for Chook who maybe could get away with it, he’s part of Chook's inner circle.

In the end I’m just mad because they don’t think about it, Ca$h is putting his life (and to his horror also his Nan's and his friends life) in danger and the others don’t see it and are just pissed that Ca$h doesn’t do what they want him to.

it just bothers me so much because... Hayden never needed redemption! As far as I know, for someone to get any kind of redemption, they needed to have done something wrong first. AND THE ONLY THING HAYDEN EVER DID WAS DOING HIS FUCKING JOB AS AN ACTOR AND GIVING HIS BEST IN HIS ROLE!!! IT'S NOT HIS FAULT THE STUPID FANBOYS DECIDED TO BE FUCKING ASSHOLES BECAUSE THE PREQUELS AND ANAKIN'S CHARACTER DIDN'T TURN OUT AS THEY WANTED TO AND CHOSE HIM TO BE THEIR PUNCHING BAG (AND POOR JAKE LLOYD AND AHMED BEST) !!!

Yes, Hayden Christensen got a new chance to reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker and show the haters they were wrong about him after all this time and I couldn't be more proud of him.

But this shouldn't be seen as some kind of redemption for him because, as I already said, he never needed one because HE DIDN'T OWE THE FANS ANYTHING!!! He could have refused all Disney's invitations to come back to Star Wars, but he accepted! He accepted because HE LOVES STAR WARS!!! HE LOVES ANAKIN SKYWALKER!!! HE LOVES THIS BEAUTIFUL UNIVERSE GEORGE LUCAS CREATED!!!

ALL THE LOVE HE'S GETTING NOW IS NOT SOME KIND OF REWARD FOR FINALLY LEARNING HOW TO BE A GOOD ANAKIN SKYWALKER - HE ALWAYS WAS!!!

Ok, I'm really glad that people are loving nb satan and his rage. I love it too, he's like a street cat lol

He IS scary when angry, I understand. But because I know that in og he can be so calm and sweet, I just think this version of him that got angry over the smallest thing is funny.

So yeah, tbh I think what made me love him so much is the fact that I already know and love og satan. I'm sure if nb satan is the first satan I met, I wouldn't love him this much.

Still, nb satan makes me appreciate satan as a character even more bc now I know what he had to experience back when he was just born. And of course, in og he doesn't have mc with him at that time.

The fact that he changes so much over the course of nb to og made me realize that he must have done so much things to overcome his anger.

My girlfriend handles my account as well to casually peek at times. Earlier, I received a DM from a person (which I will not be uncovering who) but they were very... weird, to say the least. They were so adamant to know where I specifically reside as if that was not an odd question to ask a stranger. They also sent me a couple of NSFW pictures of themselves when I specifically wrote on my pinned that I do not wish for anyone to send me such stuff. Not to mention, they keep pressuring me to send them back a picture, which I didn't do, obviously.

Take this post as a reminder that people behind NSFW Tumblr blogs are also humans. We are not bots, we are people with feelings as well! Imagine the horror on my girlfriend's face when this said person sent me a picture of their private parts! Uncalled for.

i’ve had it with those people on tiktok who are mad that patroclus is portrayed as ‘feminine’ ‘twinky’ ‘housewifey’ WHICH ARE ACTUAL TERMS IVE SEEN THEM USE. madeline miller choosing to portray him as good at medicine is NOT more ‘feminine’ ‘twinky’ ‘housewifey’ and those words themselves are really problematic when you associate it with being less ‘strong’ or a ‘bad warrior’. also, the book is from patroclus’s point of view!!! his own perception of himself is deeply skewed by his childhood with his father (his father always told him ‘this is what a real son should be’ and compared him to all the other faster, stronger boys!!) but we see that he is not weak nor as slow as he makes us think he is. he kills sarpedon!! he almost takes over troy if not for apollo knocking him down!! i’m sick and tired of these people regurgitating the same things they’ve seen other people say and not!! reading!! the book!! properly!!!!!!!

after reading so many djats reviews and watching the first three episodes i'm still in denial about what they're going to do to camila's character and to billy's relationship with her.

in the book, billy and camila's relationship is far from perfect, but we see him constantly saying nice things about her and telling how much he loves her & him choosing her over and over again.

I have my problems with book!billy, but he redeems himself by staying sober, not cheating again and actually giving camila a nice life and years of love (+being a good father). what does show!billy has for him?

we got eddie (!!!) saying good things about camila and showing his love for her (and I love him for that), yet not a word from billy. even if that first three eps were basically telling their story, since he only meets daisy halfway through episode 3.

not to mention how they rushed all of their scenes and didn't include a lot of parts that could've shown how much he loved her.

keeping the book ending won't make sense if completely fuck the characters journeys, and so far it looks like they chose the romance over everything else.

and all of this so she can die younger?? those writers are natsy.

i know it sounds pessimistic, but nothing that I've read or watched so far tells me they did justice to camila in the show. in fact, her character seems like the one who suffered the most in the process of adaptation.

Real Talk For A Sec...

Don't get me wrong, I love seeing all the high quality artwork people make (that doesn't involve certain actions with certain characters and also particularly disturbing shippy stuff), but there's something I keep seeing in OC art that bugs me quite a bit. Because of the likely not intentional, yet if you think about it it's sort of awkward, aspects of it.

That being making Na'vi non-Avatar or Recom OC's look like Instagram models in terms of body proportions and makeup. Even when they're not supposed to be wearing makeup and clearly do not have the access to cosmetic procedures.

It gives the impression of applying Westernised Human beauty and body standards on them and it's really uncomfortable for me how common it is to see in fanart.

These characters don't look like Na'vi in their designs even through the filter of an individual artist's style. They have the skin colour and the stripes and the big eyes and the tails and the number of fingers but what else?

It's got the same feel under my skin as when I see somebody dressing up as a "Native American" on Halloween yet still dressed and wearing makeup to fit to Colonial American early 21st century standards of "sexy" with feather stuff on.

Depicting Native Na'vi like that is like making them into a costume in a similar way but obviously lessened because they're fictional peoples.

Na'vi are aesthetically interesting just as they are if you make them anatomically and culturally accurate. They don't need to be Westernised to hell to make them "pretty".

Not to say I'll rage at you for doing it or that it makes you a bad artist or a bad person for doing that, but it's disappointing not seeing enough Native Na'vi OCs that look like they grew up on Pandora as part of a clan there.

You can still get away with this (to a degree but still not that much) for Avatars and Recoms since they're culturally and physically more human (although why would the RDA bother), but why do it with Pandora-born Na'vi?

Your art is your art, but do you not see the problem here?

Maybe if you're dealing with a modern day or set in the future AU where the Na'vi have been culturally assimilated with humanity and so end up doing the same crap to themselves to the same standards we do, but if it's set during the time or world of the movies and games and comics? Why?

actually I’m not done. Yes I think that basic skills and understanding of subjects like math, reading/media literacy, and science are extremely important. but fantasy high is bringing up the fact that these characters have so much experience in the real world (what the skills they are learning is supposedly for) but actually it counts for shit in the eyes of the school institution. fuck real world experience, if it wasn’t in the classroom it doesn’t count. and this applies to the real world too much. have a successful small business? Fuck you you’re failing your business class. You write an article published in a newspaper? Fuck you, that counts for shit.

if high school and college are meant to prepare you for the “real world”, shouldn’t already doing well in the real world count for something?

Eh, I'm not sure if I got scammed but clearly, I waited for a month but never a single update from the client tsskk, not sure wether they have problems on their own for not being online, but I can see em changing their discord pfp from time to time and it's sucks that you'll be taking advantage to artists that is willing to finish the art for you! As if art is easy😑!

Artists make art with their own time, sweat and effort, it was so underrated to appreciate thise things that even on their busy time theh still want to finish the commission because they don't want you to wait for such a long period of time

I am that kind of artist, I don't want to wait my clients if they paid me already, both for fairness and reasonable

I hate how I easily trust with some of yoir words, I don't even kniw why I let you give the commission without paying it full after (I am stupid on that part and clearly I had a lot of trust on you if I'll do it)

I gave you mine and yet you broke yours! So I hope you'll stop being a ghoster for artist's someday and have a nice day! (NOT!)

I was blocked by Lily Orchard for calling her rude and standing up for myself

I didn't even know who Lily Orchard was until 8 p.m. yesterday. It was my sister and a friend who told me that she is kind of famous for being toxic. and then we looked through the Tumblr hashtag and found out more less-than-ideal things about her.

I was casually looking for some Belle and Sulley Disney Mirrorverse content, and I saw a post about someone asking how long before someone starts to ship Belle and Sulley. So I decided to playfully reblog the post, and boy do I wish that I hadn't.

I just dropped two of my dumb ship edits in the reblog, and I wrote "Belley is my OTP!!!" with a triumph emoji indicating my derpy pride in it.

She reblogged me and said, "Congratulations, that is the worst ship name EVER. Bluebelle was RIGHT THERE."

She didn't have to go out of her way to reblog what I reblogged just to insult me, bully me, talk down to me, and treat me like I'm stupid over a ship name. She didn't have to make me feel stupid, but she did anyway.

So, I did something that I normally don't do, which is stick up for myself. and it earned me a block. She didn't apologize for being so rude; she didn't even want to acknowledge what I had said, so she blocked me like I was nothing.

If someone told me that they felt that I was being rude to them, I would immediately apologize because I actually care about how I treat and talk to people. And if someone pointed out that they already did something that I accused them of not doing, I would act like an adult and politely eat my words.

I'm so sorry about this vent, you guys. Maybe I'm a little too overly sensitive and let things bother me.
