i ate some rose petals tonight with someone.

it was casual and comfortable and small and nothing at all special but it almost felt like it was. a moment of relief and laughter found in the comfortable company of someone, a good anchor is a setting so convoluted.

it felt like something out of a book despite its determined normalness and its utter impossibility.

Just a drawing of Dream Sans I did for a personal headcanon of mine. (Mentions being stuck in a toxic relationship with someone)

Dream was stuck in stone for over 500+ years. During that time, he was conscious in his dreams. He grew in his dream. Being all alone in a dream version of his town with nobody around, only fear lurking in the corners, it scared him. Dream desperately wants love. Any form of love. Either platonic or romantic. But he can’t recognize toxic behaviors quickly. He struggles with boundaries. He can’t figure out that the person he loves is a bad person or not unless somebody physically forces him to leave that person and teach him that what the person did is toxic behaviors. If he somehow found out on his own, he will convince himself that it’s just tough love and they are trying to make him stronger. He will have to go through years of healing to learn how to see toxic behaviors and to get out of toxic relationships.

Omg nonny I honestly am not even sure!!!!! I think from my early years, it was probably a fic called Swap, where Lily swapped places with the Queen of England during a mission. I don’t have it anymore because I wrote it when I was like 13 and put it on my old account in fanfic.net haha but it was the first full multi chapter fic that got lots of praise from some of my favorite jily authors back in 2005.

If I had to pick anything current it would be Fearlessly Red! I’m so excited to bring it back for the jily fandom to enjoy again!!!!
