It would be easier, Raph thought, if you had a partner. Then he could use the guilt of longing for someone who isn’t available to suppress said longing. Instead, he pulls himself up once more and tries to lose himself in the physical exertion. Tries to focus on the strain in his arms, the sweat forming on his brow. Tries not to think about you doing yoga behind him.
He knows it is futile, but still he tries. Someday his feelings will fade, right? Someday he won’t perk up every time you enter the room. Someday he won’t wonder how you would feel in his arms. Someday he won’t dream about being your one and only.
Someday.
In the meantime he works out. He punches bad guys. Occasionally he gets drunk and pines. He tries to keep it out of his mind, the fact that he loves you so much it hurts.
It’s so hard when you’re there. When he can smell you. When you’re in the weight room and your scent mingles with his.
It’s so hard. But he will persevere. Your friendship is the most valuable thing he has.

Just some Thirsty Thursday Answers here! Semi-NSFW
Bill chalks another one up on the board of 'Things Dipper Likes That He Didn't Know He Liked', which is almost one-to-one with 'Things Bill had his fingers crossed hoping Dipper was into'
It was a long journey to get Dipper more comfortable in his own skin, and longer to add 'in bed' to that, but now? Bill is having a great time.
This is certainly an eye-spy scenario! Dipper wasn't doing any of this out in the open; knowing Bill and his.... well, everything, Dipper would be extra vigilant to make sure he wasn't around!
That doesn't mean he managed to find every eye, though. And more often than not, he sort of forgets that, oh yeah, there's one literally on him. Bill's careful not to point that one out too much, or his human husband's going to start wearing a single glove or something. That'd ruin a lot of his fun.
Any roleplay with set pieces, like 'demonic sacrifice on a fancy altar' or 'tense and weirdly erotic game of cat and mouse until one of them falls into a trap'! Bill's a big fan of setting the atmosphere. But while he can do a lot of setup in the Fearamid, sometimes you just gotta block off a pretty large section to really get the full 'looming temple in the darkness of night in the mysterious desert-or-jungle' experience! It's just not the same if you can't see the stars in alignment high above, while a big magical circle thrums around your grand and terrifying temple. 😔
(The set piece is arguably easier to manage than wrangling Dipper into some of the proposed outfits. Some of the jewelry is just cold and digs into tender places, Bill, c'mon.)

short hike around the lake.
took the last opportunity to go on a spontaneous daytime hike (goodbye, sweet unemployment) on a trail i found at trailwalkers.co and was rewarded with a very cute winding path surrounding an oblong lake. picturesque and miniature. the ladders and ropes on trees marked the most popular swimming spots (and a testament to the lake’s depth.) another indicator of the popularity was the unfortunate amount of trash around the site, despite bins at regular intervals on the path. don’t know if i’d like it there on a summer’s evening - all signs pointed to the area being a gathering place of people who like to bestow the gift of horrendous music upon everyone who’s also decided to spend some time relaxing in nature.
however, i quite like it when trees huddle close around a lake, as if they all would like to gaze over the water and see themselves reflected.

I dont believe in ghosts personally but sometimes its fun to think that it might be a thing, even if I highly doubt they are real.
One example is how my grandma has a small cabin in the back yard of her home and her old dog, as well as my cat Kohga, are both buried behind the cabin.
The interesting thing is that my little brother was supposed to sleep in that cabin in a bunk bed, and one of our cousins had the other bunk, and my brother kept insisting there was something in the closet, or that someone was knocking on the door and windows. I have no idea if my brother actually believes in ghosts because I havent really heard him talk about it at all, but it's interesting how he couldnt sleep out there at all because he was too scared to and kept insidting there was a ghost with them there, when our cousin didnt believe him at all and tried to tell him multiple times that there werent any ghosts there.
Grandmas current dog also REFUSES to go inside that cabin, he will come to a dead stop outside of the cabin and refuse to enter it, and the few times he has been taken into it anyways he has just been standing at the door whimpering and whining and waiting to be let out. He also doesnt go in the general area where the two graves are.
While I dont believe in ghosts, me and my grandma joke about the dog and Kohga haunting the cabin (maybe haunting isnt the right word really but idk) and its kind of nice to think that maybe there is a reason to why the dog reacts like that. I wonder if the same would be true if the cabin was in another spot, or if the graves were somewhere else, or if the dog along with my brother would still react like that.
It's also interesting how my brother is scared of possible ghosts existing, when he has no problem watching horror movies. To be fair I can handle horror pretty well too but ghosts in horror is the one thing I cant handle, so its possible that he is just like me where he doesnt really believe in ghosts but the concept scares him.
Im not sure tho, since I have never heard him talk about ghosts and whether he believe in them or not, but it's still interesting to think about him being scared of sleeping in the cabin as well as the dog being scared of even being in there, and also the two graves being right at the back of the cabin.
Maybe there is something going on there or im looking into it too much, im not sure. Im leaning more towards the latter tho since well, I dont really believe in ghosts. Me and my partner will probably go there some day when they are here tho, since they expressed interest in checking it out.
If anyone else has any input on what they think about that situation or similar ones then please do tell me. All i ask for is that people dont call me dumb for not believing in ghosts being a thing, and for people to not say people who do believe in ghosts are dumb for believing in them. I just want more people's input on this situation and what people think about this specific situation.
