Someone take this baby and give him a bed that actually fits… He wants a home badly. Kobe’s a long term resident. He was fostered a few times, but has yet to find his permanent home. Time to get your permanent home buddy… Repost from @northcentralshelter • Kobe is back at North Central after spending a couple weeks in foster care. The foster reported that he did great overall, but was leash reactive when they tried to intro him to another dog inside their home. Slow intros in a neutral space are always recommended! Kobe may do best as an only dog, or in a situation with an experienced handler who can slowly work on integrating him with another dog. Check out this video of a field trip Kobe took prior to going out on foster that shows what an amazing, chill boy he is! He’s been at the shelter for OVER A YEAR, not counting his time in foster. The second to last list anyone would want any dog on. With overcrowding, the risk of them each being moved to the absolute last list any dog would want to be put on increases significantly. Please consider fostering, adopting, networking, visiting, volunteering… One has to wonder if when people surrendered their animals they had any idea those animals would be impounded for so long and be in such constant jeopardy.
