Or so they think.   Soon, though, Mitch senses trouble: two of the partners die in a suspicious diving accident off Grand Canyon; the firm’s management is overly proud of the fact no one has ever resigned; and security measures at the firm are—even for a company with billionaire clients—more than a little stringent. Published as a hardback edition on 17th October 2023 in the United Kingdom , The Exchange marks a return for lawyer Mitch McDeere , last seen fifteen years ago in Grisham's breakout novel , The Firm.

Mitch , now a partner in law firm Scully and Pershing is tasked with overseeing an arbitration case worth in excess of $400 million between a Turkish construction company and the Libyan Government.

Whilst in Libya , Mitch's associate Giovanna is kidnapped by terrorists , worse still Mitch's wife Abby is targeted as the point of contact putting Giovanna and Mitch's family in danger.

There follows a globe trotting mission by Mitch to raise the $100 million ransom and rescue Giovanna.

Le thriller juridique de Tom Cruise The Firm a peut-être 30 ans, mais il est toujours regardable aujourd'hui grâce à la performance de la star. oh i adore Mitch and Abby. i love how much they care about each other, how much they love each other. Mitch never pressuring Abby to see his side or to stay with him, fully prepared to let her go and be safe away from him. Abby realizing as much as she's angry at Mitch she can't let him die, willing to go into the lion's den for him. and it's never about taking credit or having power! she never let him find out that she's involved! it's just out of care and worry and i just. ugh. I'm so glad they got back together in the end. i hope they're happily running their own little film in Boston.
