What is your favorite animal and who is your favorite dndads character?

Marco likes to make little notes to put into Grant's and Link's lunch containers. They usually like to take picnics for lunch time or sometimes meet each other somewhere in town if one of them was working that day. He also puts some in the little snack box under his son's bed too (for when he likes to relax under there). With all their different schedules, Marco often ends up making the notes in spare time throughout the day...like one might scribble on the side of their school notes or paperwork. If he wakes up in the middle of the night, he'll type them up on his phone too. He'll glance at Grant beside him a few times too, just to make sure his chest is still rising and heart still beating. He knows there's no logical reason to check, but the urge to make sure is always bubbling up inside him. Especially after terrifying nightmares that he can only half remember. Its part of why he finds such comfort in all the little sounds of life, at night or when all three are awake and hanging around the house. But, back to the notes, he always smiles when he makes them, imagining his boys reading them later. But well...sometimes he is so tired that he accidentally swaps the notes! The first time this happened, his son--still small, runs up to him in the morning, door creaking as he does. Both Marco and his husband are still laying in bed and groggily sit up. Grant is quicker, slipping on his glasses and threading one of his hands into Marco's under their blanket. Its a silent 'don't worry,' and Marco squeezes his hand back. Marco asks Lincoln if he's okay or if he needs something. Only for their son, with most adorably confused expression to pull out a small piece of paper from his soccer ball patterned hoodie. The child looks at the note and reads the paper-- A very cheesy love note from yesterday: "you'll always be the apple of my eye <3" And as Marco is connecting the dots on his mistake, his son says something else. "Um...I don't get this one? There were no apples in my lunch?" Grant's split between being flustered red and trying not to laugh beside him while Marco is speechless for a few minutes...dramatically dying of embarrassment on the inside. He squeezes his husband's hand again (harder this time) and finds himself smiling again, previous worry easily melting away. They let their son come sit between them on the bed as Marco explains the mishap.

Teens having this huge pillow fight at Taylor's house all throughout the building and backyard. They use spells and/or other skills to their advantage too.

Something, something, Lincoln doesn't like butterflies because they always fly away and don't return. Something, something, Taylor's demon wings are starting to sprout. Both are secretly freaking out about it. ---- Started working on this (fic snippet here)

S2 Ep 34 Finding Tori sketch page (Scenes explained below)

A digital sketch page of scenes from episode thirty four of dungeons and daddies season two. The top portion shows guest star Tori sitting at a desk and smiling nervously. She says these were good and mentally asks herself what the podcast is about because she's not sure. The five teens that performed are below her. Its a pleased Lincoln thanking Garfield for the help, family guy fall pose Taylor with here lies Taylor written below him, a standing and devastated normal who is apologizing desperately, a cheering Scary saying fuck yes and thanking Uncle Rico, and a silhouette of a defeated Hermie in a chair. From left to right, each person has their score card with numbers five, three, four, five, and lastly four again. While Link and Scary hold their cards happily, Normal is surrounded by cards falling like confetti around him and Taylor has a card smacking onto his head. Scam looks disappointedly at Hermie with a single wagging finger and says you messed up boy. Hermie's score card was launched between the father and son via an arrow. Tori tells Taylor that she liked the end of his skit. The bottom sketches are from the space scenes. They show Scary happily signing her name as Terry Marlowe on the marriage certificate on the left. Taylor and Link riding on a dead astronaut towards their friends while Taylor uses an inhaler to propel them faster. Link calls for Scary and Normal. Hermie seems to be melting due to his shape shifting ability being influenced by his emotions and is hugging the air as he embraces the star filled void.

"Nothing Link, huh? nothing?"

"I just said Normal did a good job.."

"....okay, alright."

"I don't know, Taylor."

Not sure if I heard the last two lines correctly (it was kinda quiet) but yeah still thinking about that exchange. Taylor sounding frustrated, maybe even disappointed but backing off anyway

I like that both Matt and Will kept to their characters so consistently--with Lincoln not having much to say about Hermie but still wanting to be supportive of the others and then Normal still not being able to cheer for Chaperal (Sorry if that's the incorrect spelling).

Also the contrast of Normal being frustrated and angry and Scary being solemn and calmer...

(Update 2/20/24: New box link! Can't access the old one anymore due to a laptop issue. Really sorry if I missed any doodles, I usually check on Sundays, but I've been forgetting lately so didn't notice until today... orz ) Starting a thread for my draw box thingy!! :D

The sillies!!! They look adorable and Sparrow looks so soft and content :] such pretty flowers, earrings, and outfit too Love Taylor's big grin with the sparkles and Hermie looking tired and blankly at him pfft xD These are awesome, placing them gently in my pockets!! Thank you so much :DD

Sparrow canonly refers to Normal as 'bud' at least once. I like to think its short for flower bud instead of buddy. Also baby Normal really liked playing with and trying to eat the flowers and leaves that are always sprouting from his dad's hair (due to the druid stuff).

Sparrow loves cats (Scene explanations below)

There are two wooden circular tables, a big cat tree, and cat toys hanging from some easy to remove string. Two cats are also nearby. One plays with the flowers and plant bits flowing around Sparrow. The other kitty is relaxing on a hand-made blanket and watching Sparrow. There is also a sneaky third kitty peeking out from beside the cat tree and a sign hanging up that says cat cafe with a question mark. The last sketch on the bottom right is drawn in brown lineart. Sparrow sits in front a big canvas and has a cup filled with brushes plus a paint tube beside him on the table to his left. Sparrow is drawing a somewhat realistic looking cat with a white nose and otherwise dark fur and whiskers. The cat is facing the right. I've been thinking of Sparrow as a non-binary person who uses any pronouns--but I noticed I haven't been alternating pronouns much so I'm going to try doing that more for her in future art/writing things.

About Terry aiming specifically at Normal and Lincoln, you know how those two both ate the doodler goo stuff and those little mini evil versions spawned? What if more evil duplicates were made but full-sized like the Scary clone...and Terry was fighting the clones before, so that's why he shot at them.

Morgan--well original timeline Morgan had a kite tattoo on her right arm. While her hairstyle is similar, its also a bit shorter in the original timeline. She also has a piercing above one eye. After their baby was born, Morgan shaved her hair off in celebration while Glenn got some strips of his hair dyed and grew it longer. He asked Morgan to pick the color. Morgan used to call Glenn "kitten" and he often called her "firefly". The first time Glenn heard someone say "welcome home" to him was when they first moved in together. It was very surprising in a really touching way. He was used to not hearing it all before (or only saying it to himself sometimes). No one asked but here are some reasons I draw Glenn's demon form with bells hooked to his horns [Season 2 spoiler warning: Glenn design and in group pic here] 1) Glenn likes to be flashy and noisy pretty often, prefers it over complete silence (distracts from his own thoughts too...he'll never admit that though) 2) Music experimentation, loves adding unusual sounds to his music and very easy to incorporate with some head banging or other movement. He doesn't stay still much anyway! 3) The bells are very useful for annoying his brother sworn enemy Jodie Chodie

For Taylor's first birthday, Glenn shows up late--clearly having been in a rush but still wearing his usual lopsided grin. He gifts the kid this snoopy plushie that's dressed in a santa outfit. The item is nearly as big as his little grandson. And the sight reminds him of seeing Nick for the first time outside of those fuzzy ultrasound images. His eye might have shined a bit at the thought and the fact that his grandson immediately latched onto the toy and his arm when he presented the gift to him. Taylor still has that snoopy in present day, in fact out of the few gifts that have survived his various childhood adventures...this is the only one still in his bedroom, resting on his bed along with those pillows.

The snoopy used to have a hat but its long gone now. He wore it so much as a toddler that the little clear straps that hooked it to the toy fell apart. Now the worn and stitched hat is resting in plastic with a little cop toy in the family awards room. On the off-chance that anyone questions him about his ownership of police propaganda, he is prepared to explain (as a master preparer always is). Taylor's got a ten page booklet that tells this little ex-cop character's heroic and fantastical story. But back to the snoopy santa, Taylor didn't know who Snoopy was until many years later, so he named the toy something else entirely: Detective Snow-feet. The toy has white fur and Santa lives in the north pole (or so his mom tells him), so snow seemed fitting. Now for the detective part though... This super cool dog is undercover as a santa trying to infiltrate someplace. Perhaps a fancy...mall or epic film studio? Sadly some of the extended lore for this beloved sidekick is a bit fuzzy but it adds a nice mystery to things, so Taylor doesn't mind too much. Its fun to make up more info each year too. Usually on his birthday but sometimes during holidays. ---- The detective undercover at a mall--is a vague reference to Glenn not liking mall santas. The ex cop toy is reference to Jodie, but the backstory part is because Taylor likes making up intricate stories for his things, especially if he treasures them deeply. The items and their stories keep him company! Additional note (thank you Isadora for reminding me :D): The film studio part is a reference to both Meryl (at the mountains of dadness character) and Cass. Meryl was a silent film actor and Cass was a former daytime tv actress. Also Nicky was the first one to put the little santa hat on Taylor. He could not resist the cuteness and Cass may have teased him and then cheered him on affectionately--quickly getting her phone camera out for many a photo. Little Taylor was very amused, giggling and wiggling around in his crib. There's this one picture Nicky keeps with him that has the whole Freeman Close Foster Swift family with a bunch of tiny santa hats on and their kiddo (2-3) is in the center with Nicky and Cass holding him up. All have a variety of colorful sweaters on too. It was an in hell photo so there was some snow and hell fire in the bg too. The flames seemed to float and form holiday themed shapes too.

Side note, in my hcs, Glenn would call Nick "baby beat" as a kid. He still does sometimes when he's feeling extra mushy/sentimental which usually earns a dramatic groan and "I'm not a baby!" type response. [Nick handshaking Grant about being embarrassed by their dads] More of an angst idea but I think post s1 Nicky's memory are coming back at random...like its all there but they tend to need something to jog the memory. Anyways, Nicky is spending time with Glenn and ends up falling asleep while they were playing some game together. Nicky wakes up though and asks for like one last round before they turn in for the night etc and wins the round. Glenn looks pretty happy about losing and ruffles their hair saying with a gentle smile, nostalgic and softer tone, "Heh, guess you still got the skill, baby beat." (Meaning Nick beat him at the game before but this is the first time its happened post s1) And Nicky looks at him upon hearing the nickname and promptly...bursts into silent tears as they remember all the other times their dad called them by that name. I don't think they really talked deeply about stuff right that moment but they did hug for awhile. Probably fell asleep again listening to the familiar tune their dad was singing to comfort them too.

Lincoln probably wears cleats at any given opportunity (especially at home). But hear me out, maybe he has some really soft Garfield slippers for when he's relaxing! Could also imagine a comfy big hoodie or a silly shirt with a quote on it that he got for a bday and wears on a lot. Its worn and has several sewn patches on it from his dads repairing it a few times. It was way too big on him when they first got it which was great when he had the growth spurt.
