Anahat Finishes Runner-up At 2024 British Junior Open Squash

Asian Mixed Doubles Championships: India’s Anahat Singh finished runner-up in the girls’ under-17 category at the British Junior Open squash 2024 held at the University of Birmingham. A rising Indian star went down to Egyptian second seed Nadien Elhammamy 11-7, 11-13, 10-12, 11-5, 9-11 in a tense 68-minute cliffhanger. Anahat won the opening game 11-7, before Elhammamy fought back to claim the next two on tiebreak 13-11 & 12-10. The Delhi girl won the fourth game 11-5 to force a decider, and not much separated the pair in the fifth, which the Egyptian clinched 11-9. Meanwhile, Aryaveer Dewan, the reigning US Junior Open boys’ under-15 champion, took third place in the boys’ under-15 category in Birmingham. He lost to Egyptian top seed Philopater Saleh 3-1 in the semifinals, but bounced back to win the play-off for third place. Promising Aadya Budhia was edged out 3-2 by top seeded American Vivienne Sze in the under-13 girls’ quarterfinals. Late last month, Anahat won the Under-19 crown at the Scottish Junior Open to cap a spectacular 2023 that saw her record the under-19 and senior National championship double and win mixed doubles bronze along with Abhay Singh both at the Asian Games and the inaugural Asian Mixed Doubles Championships. उप्र : सीबीआई ने 2 जिलाधिकारी समेत 12 जगहों पर की छापेमारी, नोट गिनने के लिए लगाई गई मशीन

चैतन्य भारत न्यूज लखनऊ. केंद्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरो (सीबीआई) ने बुधवार को उत्तर प्रदेश के कई शहरों में एक साथ छापेमारी की कार्रवाई की। इस कार्रवाई में प्रदेश के दो जिलाधिकारी के ठिकाने भी चपेट में आए हैं। बुधवार को सीबीआई ने प्रदेश के फतेहपुर, आजमगढ़, बुलंदरशहर, लखनऊ, इलाहाबाद, नोएडा, गोरखपुर और देवरिया समेत 12 जगहों पर छापेमारी की कार्रवाई को अंजाम दिया। यह कार्रवाई दो अलग-अलग अवैध खनन मामलों में की गई। सूत्रों के मुताबिक, बुधवार को बुलंदशहर के जिलाधिकारी अभय सिंह के घर और कार्यालय पर सीबीआई ने छापेमारी की। आवास पर मीडिया को अंदर जाने से रोक दिया गया था जिससे की जानकारी बाहर तक न फैले। सुबह करीब 9 बजे छापेमारी की कार्रवाई शुरू हुई। इस दौरान जांच एजेंसी अपने साथ एक नोट गिनने की मशीन भी लेकर गई थी। बता दें अभय सिंह बुलंदशहर से पहले अखिलेश यादव के कार्यकाल में फतेहपुर के डीएम थे। जानकारी के मुताबिक, अभय सिंह के ठिकानों से सीबीआई ने 47 लाख रुपए नकद बरामद किए हैं। इनके अलावा देवरिया के पूर्व डीएम विवेक कुमार के यहां भी सीबीआई ने कार्रवाई की। देवरिया के मौजूदा निदेशक (प्रशिक्षण एवं रोजगार) विवेक कुमार के आवास से सीबीआई को प्रॉपर्टी से संबंधित दस्तावेज बरामद हुए। साथ ही जांच एजेंसी ने देवरिया के पूर्व एडीएम देवी शरण उपाध्याय के ठिकानों पर भी छापेमारी की जिसमें 10 लाख रुपए नकद बरामद किए गए हैं। ये भी पढ़े...  सीबीआई की बड़ी कार्रवाई, भ्रष्टाचार और धोखाधड़ी के खिलाफ देशभर के 110 ठिकानों पर छापेमारी सीबीआई के पूर्व अंतरिम निदेशक नागेश्वर राव को कोर्ट ने सुनाई यह अनोखी सजा!
