Mia Thermopolis Renaldi inherits the instinct to run from her father's side of the family. As evidenced by her first uncle abdicating the throne for the monistary and then by her father, who HEAVILY wished to do the same. Instead, he ran from his family and eventually towards duty; just as Mia eventually does, though she leaves no family of her own behind.

Get To Know You tag
tagged by: @dodger-chan, thanks for the tag!
relationship status: single
song stuck in my head: Dial Drunk by Noah Kahan
last song I listened to: Hold Me Tight Or Don't by Fall Out Boy
last thing I googled: A quote from Capaldi's run on Doctor Who. "Only in darkness are we revealed. Goodness is not goodness that seeks advantage. Good is good in the final hour, in the deepest pit, without hope, without witness, without reward."
dream trip: I don't know if I have a dream trip. But the next place I want to go is Seattle, to drink coffee and go on a tour about the prostitution-y history there. (If you don't know about it, google Lou Graham and enjoy going down a rabbit hole)
tagging: anyone who wants to do this

Who they like better: Mia
Who they take after more: Shuri
Personal headcanon: She knows she will have to, but she doesn't want to rule Wakanda, she wants to become a scientist

What's funny to me is that nobody cares about copyright outside the US and maybe, I dunno, Canada and Europe? For the entire third world, it's something we politely pretend is real so we don't hurt their feelings, but it's probably the fakest and less upheld concept here, absolutely nobody cares.
Some yanqui says something deranged like "um, uh, yeah, you should pay for every time you play a song otherwise you're stealing" and we just pat their head and say "claro que sí tesoro" while we download 15 GBs of movies and the local pizzeria has a mural of like Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny to promote it.

Trope: affectionate nickname?
Ohhh, this is a trope I adore! (And I use everywhere!)
My favourite ones are Mia (her name is Amalia, she starts to use it as her actual name after Civil War), Addie (every time I think about her real name I laugh), Jules (that has too much affectionate nicknames, my girl), Annabeth (that just Carl can call her Annie, for everyone else she's Anne) and Ness (called Nessie by her family... also, Ness is a nickname because her true name is Vanessa)!
I have a lot more, but this are some!

What's funny about this is that both SimCity and Cities Skylines are simulators, so they could allow you to simulate different economic and urbanist models. This could create really fun gameplay and challenges too.
However that would mean introducing POLITICS like actual classes with interests as well as citizens participating (both by regular 'politics' and by acting by themselves) in the construction of a city, instead of being an almighty mayor who rules undisputed over their lives.
And many city builder fans aren't really interested on that, they just want a green empty field which has never existed anywhere in history so they can build a city and get to the real thing: Solving Traffic.
