Thoughts on how Samsonov has navigated the last month: "I've been in those moments as well, and it's not fun. I mean, everyone's against you really, and everyone is coming at you on all different angles and thinking you're not good enough. For [Samsonov] to fight through that and come back as he has and played as well as he has for us and won us the last couple games in net... you know, he's done a great job of it. It just shows how mentally strong he is. I've tried to talk to him. We know he's a hell of a goaltender. We know he does amazing things for us when he's in that net, and you know, obviously everyone goes through spells sometimes of where stuff's not going your way. And it affects you, and then you hear all the noise outside, and it affects you more. He's just done a great job this last month blocking it out and really focusing on himself, training himself, and being the best he can be in the last month."

How Mitch handled going through something similar: "Talking to people. Um, you gotta express your emotions. When you hold onto stuff by yourself, you know, it gets in your mind. It puts you in a dark spot so. We're lucky enough to have people around us that care for us and wanna hear how you're feeling. That's why you have loved ones, that's why we have people around this team as well, so. You gotta talk your way out of it. my favorite hobby is obsessing over the characters/ships no one cares or rarely talks about. it isn’t a conscious decision, i don’t like it, and frankly it’s the worst “hobby” i could take up solely because of the little to none content i get, but someone has to do it. and i, along with the 7 other people in the fandom who are in the same boat, will do it.

Do you think Aleksander can be described as a nerd?

Wait the Cambridge Dictionary gives two definitions about the word "nerd":

a person, especially a man, who is not attractive and is awkward or socially embarrassing

Aleksander is extremely handsome and I don't find him socially awkward at all. Even though I HC him as an introvert, I believe he has excellent social skills, is a gentleman and is a good conversationalist. He can handle himself in a crowd quite well.

a person who is extremely interested in one subject, especially computers, and knows a lot of facts about it

Well, Aleksander prides himself for how much he knows about power (merzost, the Little Science etc.) and was really interested about his grandfather's accomplishments mostly because he wanted to help Ravka with them.

But I'm not entirely sure this word can apply to him.

I don't think I ever mentioned how my main boy Ilya fared with the graphics update. Which is...fine? My only complaint is that the outer lining of his lips is no longer quite as pronounced. His colors are quite a bit more vibrant in game now too which I've enjoyed.

ETA: oh and he has rbf now
