Here are all of the cats currently staying in the TunnelClan nursery!

Queens include DappleHeart who is expecting and SunWhisker who is a male queen and a father to Maplekit and Honeykit the other parent is unknown and the clan isn't pushing him to share it.

TunnelClan also has a position known as a Nest Guard that job entails taking care of queens and kits since not all queens choose to take care of their kits outside of simply nursing them, kits whose parents don't wish to raise them are taken care of by the Nest Guards

Nest guards include SunWhisker (although he's a queen at the moment) and ShineStone, ShineStone is also currently mentoring BrightPaw, and PetalPaw.

Kits being raised by the Nest Guards currently are ShadowKit, SunKit, EggKit, AcornKit, CloudKIt, HoneyKit, MapleKit, and BlueKit

Moon 1, the beginning of choices. Part 1.

You are Oakkit. You're a polite lad, and you always try to help your mother and father when they come by the nursery! Your mother is a warrior, she can't afford to watch you and your littermates when there's hunting to do, and your father is the deputy! Currently, Dapplekit and Acornkit are catching bugs, Hawkkit is cowering in the nest at every sound like normal, and... Grasskit is hiding in the corner..?

Idea that I might incorporate: Raggedstar takes Brokenstar's place in what he does (kit killing, driving out windclan etc.) and he remains a very popular leader in his own clan despite being a piece of crap. He's petty, he's always gotten what he wanted in life through fighting and it WORKS. Aaand Yellowfang does not wanna be his mate anymore because he's a piece of shit. And it hurts him to his core but he's a manchild and cannot deal with it in a good way. He takes Foxheart as his mate to make her jealous. it does not work. He forbids Brokenkit (who's gonna have a different name for a few reasons so he'll be Acornkit here) from visiting her or talking to her, and when Runningkit becomes her apprentice, him too. And she doesn't budge. He keeps undermining, ridiculing, tormenting her every day, and because the clan likes him a lot join in. And Yellowfang really, truly, does not give a shit anymore. she'll be as snappy and rude to them as she wants because she's right there, the senior clan medic, doing her job and keeping them alive after border skirmishes or greencough outbreaks. Raggedstar takes out his frustrations through fights very often. Windclan was a huge one of course, it felt good to have so much new territory, he felt powerful. but Yellowfang immediately pushed back, screaming at him of how much of a FLYBRAIN he just was, they cannot even hunt on the moors so now he has tree-lenghts of tree-lenghts of territory he cannot even use. But other cats backed her up officially for the first time, voicing that the senior medic was right, so he takes drastic measures so that nobody would say this again. Cut to the end of Into The Wild, Yellowfang's still got that fight in her, but she's tired. She cannot stand the swamp anymore, and Nightpelt.... He feels it's his duty to become leader, an old friend of hers, he wants to make it right by her. But quiet, unassuming Acornshell bides his time. That was his father they just threw out. Yes he did bad things, but even he, his own son, suffered them, and he was fine! He forgives Raggedstar in fact! He knows he meant well and he wasn't even that wrong! And he's the one, alongside Runningnose and Blackfoot, to help the new attack on Thunderclan with his father, new violence that thankfully ends badly for the ex-leader, with his death. Acornshell is kept as a prisoner, blinded by Yellowfang, as he spits insults at her, of how heretical she was for having her rightful leader killed. Tigerclaw sees the opportunity to have Bluestar lose even more credibility, and spreads the rumor of Raggedstar being alive, and Yellowfang having to tend to the prisoner all day and night because of the leader's orders. Nightstar is enraged at this- HOW DARE SHE HURT HER AFTER ALL OF HER HELP TO THUNDERCLAN? Tallstar agrees to help them, and the attack is launched.

But when Nightstar sinks his fangs into Acornshell instead of Raggedstar, not recognizing him until he notices the bent tail, it's too late. Bluestar is saved by a little miracle from Tigerclaw's attack, and the traitor is revealed as such in front of three clans. Nightstar is shaken, and willfully gives up his leadership in Shadowclan, not choosing exile only because he knows he's near the end, even if he could now take his nine lives. Tallstar is indebted to Thunderclan, and Shadowclan is now indebted to Thunderclan AND Windclan. Those are some big shoes for Cinderfur to fill- ah she's dead. and now half the camp is poisoned. Runningnose has a solution tho! right, Blackfoot? Dear repented and clearly chosen by Starclan Blackfoot? Right buddyyyyyy??

So Blackfoot, still technically deputy, is in hot waters, now DOUBLY indebted to Thunderclan because of Lynxpetal (check previous posts, it's Cinderpelt but not really) helping them with the plague. so when the newest leader Leopardstar offers an alliance? He didn't even think twice before accepting, she said she had a perfect candidate to help him out free of charge! It's TIGERCLAW again! and now he goes as "Tigerstar"! who died and made him leader?... Nightstar apparently. He's dead dead now.

and Blackfoot is just another pawn, again.

Batshade!

Batkit was born alongside littermates Rowankit and Palekit to Honeynettle and an unknown she-cat, coming to join CloverClan with their father. Unfortunately, Honeynettle died soon after their birth, leaving the trio of kits to be adopted by Sheeprise. Batkit was perhaps a bit unsociable, but otherwise got along well with his adoptive father and his brothers (including his adoptive brother Acornkit.)

On reaching six moons, Batpaw was apprenticed to Puddleshadow. Puddleshadow influenced Batpaw to be more likely to start fights, but also encouraged his ambition. Batpaw also proved to be a skilled swimmer and hunter, and was praised for his attention to detail when he earned his warrior name (Batshade) at eleven moons old. (He maybe had a bit of a crush on Puddleshadow, which ultimately went nowhere.)

However, he was almost taken by an eagle the same moon as his warrior ceremony. Batshade escaped, but was left with an injured leg that healed well but retained a scar. He later lost his tail saving Lynxpeak from a big dog.

On the side of his relationships with others, Batshade had a brief relationship with an unknown she-cat that resulted in two kits named Ravenwhisker and Flaxheart. Later on, after becoming mates with Boragepatch (after much flirting and asking Boragepatch out), he ended up with three more kits named Vinemouse, Rosemaryswish, and Creekraven. Batshade is very proud of Boragepatch's ascension to deputy in the wake of Pigeonstar's death and Bleakstar's ascension to leader.

While he's not super close with most of his living grandkits, he is close with Thunderwool, who once gifted him a laurel branch to wear.

(On a darker note, his dead bio dad Honeynettle tried to lure Batshade to the Dark Forest when he was an apprentice, but didn't get far with him. Batshade is too loyal to CloverClan.)

Skyrumble felt a purr rumbling in his throat, but the cheering was so loud he couldn't hear it. He met his mother's eyes over the crowd, and felt his heart swell at the pride in them. I've done it, he thought. Cloud, I've done it. I hope you have your own warrior ceremony, wherever you are.

"What happened?" Mintswirl gasped, hurrying over to Algaesky's side.

"A fox happened," Lynxfur grunted. "It surprised us both, but it got Algaesky bad."

"Not bad," Algaesky correct, grunting. "I'll be fine." Mintswirl made a sound low in the back of his throat.

"It's way too early to say that for certain," he frowned at her. "You've only just gotten injured. You'll have to be off your leg for a while." Algaesky nodded, accepting this quietly.

"You're lucky," Mintswirl told her. "It could have gone very, very badly, just the two of you against a fox."

"Ah, Burdockheart?" Burdockheart looked up at Beamsnow, who stood before her with a nervous expression on his face. "I... need you to do something with me. Please."

"Of course," she said, and gulped down the last of her mouse. "What is it?"

"I... can't tell you. Please, just come with me."

Burdockheart frowned at him, but stood anyways. She followed Beamsnow out of camp and they walked for a while. It's only when the DogwoodClan border is in sight that Burdockheart's apprehension grows so strong that she halts.

"Beamsnow, what are you doing? Why are we here?"

Beamsnow didn't answer, instead slipping over the border. Burdockheart's ears flattened, betrayal striking through her heart like lightning. She watched her former apprentice slink into a bush and listened to a whispered conversation, the words too quiet to hear. When Beamsnow emerged, her heart lurched. A pair of tiny white scraps hung from his mouth. Newborn kittens, mewling pathetically for their dam. He set them down in front of Burdockheart and gave her an apologetic look, then slunk back into the bushes and emerged with two more.

"Their mother can't care for them," he told Burdockheart quietly. "We... I never intended for this, but... they're mine, Burdockheart. I can't just leave my kits."

"Oh, Beamsnow," Burdockheart breathed. She wanted to say more, to ask who their mother was beyond just a DogwoodClan she-cat, but Beamsnow looked so distraught... "I won't say a word to anyone," she swore instead. She bent down to lick the tiny kittens he'd placed at her paws. "What are their names?"

Beamsnow sagged, a sigh of relief escaping him. "Applekit, Aspenkit, Acornkit, and the little she-kit is Asphodelkit." He nodded towards each kitten in turn.

"They're beautiful."

okay so, the thing in this au is that the whole "Dreamchaser secret agency" thing kinda is liike. Theres a lot of magic around but no one really knows of it other than a small number of cats bc of its potential . IDK. and somehow the main kids get wrapped up in it.

um ummm So because they all get involved, izzie gets promoted to an apprentice a bit earlier than the rest of the kits her age but its okay. shes probably ready! So the rest of the insomniacs are still kits but they try to sneak around and see whats going on and what the strange occurences aree. It makes nova restless uhh IDK HOW TO TRANSLATE IT GOOD INTO THE AU. If u have any ideas pls give them im struggling. BUT YEAH! Nova secretly investigates and the other kits who are still in the nursery help her with it. If you have name ideas for them i will eat them... Kinda thinking nova can be Acornkit or something

The joining the dreamchasers thing here is When she makes izzie explain and then when she becomes an apprentice she helps out .🔥🔥

Political Courtships

Unlike normal courtships, political courtships are between notable cats from two Societies. The courtships are meant to produce kits which should inspire a length of peace between the Societies.

Cats wed via a political affair are called companions or envoy.

Currently, the only companions and kits in the Societies are:
