So I've thought about playing a game where the ages are equivalent to 3 months time...but I'm not confident in my acr modifying skills. I've watched a tutorial about it a gazillion times... and having 20 odd days of teen hood would be a lot less noticeable when the last week of it doesn't allow "breeding"...don't know. On the other hand, starting a new file and finding a couple that had wants for first woohoo and naming each other was awwwe

This is going to be the last update for some time, in about 2 months i'm attending university so there really won't be any time for me to create stuff, play the sims AND focus on my studies at the same time.. I doubt it's my last time creating stuff for strawberry acres though, but for now you won't be seeing much 🩷🌞

Many people report to me that they have issues with rabbit holes not showing, there's a few possible reasons that I know of that could be the cause. First one is if you're missing EP's, you need pets, late night, island paradise, supernatural, ambitons and showtime! Or you're missing the "MainAssemblyScript" file, which is included with the rabbit holes. Another possible reason is if you have merged them, these can NOT be merged. This also applies if you install through CC magic!

Re: Autonomous Romance

@curiousb, hope you don't mind me replying in a new post.

So, I was saying I've tried ACR and edited it for my game. I like it for adding sofa as a woohoo location and for "auto woo" interaction, which is a shortcut for multiple actions you'd have to click in a row without the mod.

As far as settings go, I left autonomous woohoo without trying for baby (I let them try when they have a want), lowered the frequency to the minimum, disabled nakedness and booty calls. Its personal settings are pretty good, including aspiration based stuff.

What I edited is I completely removed all the other romantic actions, because I found out that maxis' romance interactions are also autonomous as long as sims have any gender preference. The reason we usually don't see townies or newly created sims starting romance on their own is that their gender preference is 0 by default!

I actually edited the in game BHAV that blocks autonomous romance with 0 gender preference. It worked out great. Not only I'm seeing organic autonomy between inactive sims, it also serves as a preference randomizer, because as soon as sims do the first ever romantic action, their gender preference shifts towards the gender of the sim they did it with. Next time they'll know who they like.

So, the logic is this: if both the acting sim and the target sim have 0/0 gender preference towards any gender, it's fair game for the autonomous interaction to go through. If any of the sims have preferred gender, the game checks if they're compatible. Other conditions like age and family checks are still applied, of course. This little BHAV only checks gender preference and I changed only that.

EDIT: it affects autonomy, but not the accepting/rejecting EDIT: you don't need ACR to use this mod, it's for Maxis' actions

Backrubs give comfort

In my many years of Simming, I thought backrubs did give comfort, because it seems so obvious that they would. Apparently EA did not think it was obvious, because it only raises social. I think that's dumb, so I decided to fix it.

Because of how socials are coded a gradual increase is too difficult to be worth even attempting, so the mod gives a one time boost at the end of the interaction. I decided to make two versions, one that has a flat amount for all Sims, and one that gives a different number for pregnant Sims. I figure any pregnant lady enjoys a backrub more than anyone else ever could, so I wanted mine to have a slightly higher boost. Both versions pull their number from a BCON that is included, so it is easy to change to whatever number you want. Normal sims get 40 points comfort, which is 20% or 1/5th of the entire bar. In the pregnant Sim version, a pregnant Sim receives 60 which is just under 1/3rd or 30% of the entire bar.

No conflicts that I know of. Will conflict with mods that alter social motive and relationship score gain from backrubs. Does not conflict with ACR or inteen. HCDU will find conflicts, load order will not help if there is a conflict. No idea what EP is required, sorry.

Unselectable ACR Pregnancy

There are several mods that enable unselectable pregnancy, but you still need to make the sims selectable for ACR interactions. This mod fixes that. It applies to both try for a baby and risky woohoo. Oh and neither sim needs to be selectable for a pregnancy to occur. (You've been warned.)

You will still need one of those other mods.

I would recommend PregnancyWhileVisiting or RCC depending on if you also want teen/ya pregnancy etc.

This mod just removes ACR's additional family check. Despite the file name, this fix also applies to photo booths, sofas, and hot tubs.
