anyway i dont think ill ever get over adam from lobotomy corporation and how utterly fucking devoted he is to carmen. like. he went fucking insane for her. he actively tries to sabotage the plan thats been going for TEN THOUSAND YEARS because thats what she wants. he is willing to bring back THE FUCKING ARBITER because it MIGHT halt X.

and then you beat him and move on and then PSYCHE ACTUALLY CARMEN WON ANYWAY. because angela took the seed of light anyway.

and you gotta think to yourself do you think adam knew the parallels. do you think angela took it because it would spite ayin, but adam wanted to for the same reason. because fundamentally ayin hates himself and adam is an offshoot of ayin, in a way.
