so finally decided to look into outlast trials

I have no equipment (nor gamer skills) to run games so I rely on gameplay videos and compilations and any outside sources, like comics and wikis..

But I do remember the other outlast games and was always intrigued in its style and story so I decided to see what trials was about and...

I get it...I so totally get it...I just...I want just a smidgen of talent from the writers, especially for dialogue because HOLY SHIT the prime assets have no right to be that fucking funny

One shot opening I started and realized it was going to be longer/angstier/included Mahiru more than intended so I’m putting it on hold for now. Posting for the sake of it but I hope to finish it sometime.

Fuuta hated how his body instinctively cowered at the sudden knocking on his cell door.

“Go away.” 

“It’s me~” Yuno’s voice came from the other side. 

He immediately relaxed, though tried to keep the tension in his voice. “And? Go away.”

“Sorry, no can do! This call is wholly business, no pleasure.” Likely Shidou asking her to take over with his checkup for the week. He wasn’t in the mood to be under anyone’s wide-eyed and pitying stares today. 

“I didn’t think you were capable of such a thing.”

“Ha-ha.” A pause. “Fuutaaaaaa…” She rattled the handle, as if they were given the basic decency of locks. As annoying as the sound was, he was always grateful for it.

Fuuta rolled out of bed with as much groaning as he could muster. He opened the door. 

“What.”

Her face lit up. She shoved past him, gentle but too forceful to be stopped. “I lied! This is for pleasure. Requests just arrived and I brought you something!” 

“So you’re saying I was right.”

“I’ll never be caught dead admitting it~”

“Tch.”

He closed the door, following her back towards the bed. Another relief – she wasn’t here for anything serious. 

His excitement for her company was cut short when he saw her brandish her prize: a stack of colorful, girly magazines. She flopped down onto her side to through them. He laid on his back behind her, trying to hide his disappointment.

“You think I want to read your stupid fashion columns?”

She mused, “God knows you need them.” Then she tossed a volume over her shoulder, hitting him in the face. “But no, I have boring ones especially for you.”

He scrambled to grab it, shocked to find one of his usual subscriptions. 

[Mahiru remembered/told her the ones he liked. Yuno expressing the pain of spending time with her because she hates seeing her in pain? Thinks it’s terrible to admit but Fuuta understands.]

[Angst version where this is T3? She’s reading with him because she can’t with Mahiru. Stronger feelings about Yuno coming for check-up]

im sorry I havent answered this I couldnt think of any good inside jokes between them (AND I ALSO KEOT FORGETTING YOU SENT THIS TO ME)

BUT i think an inside joke beyween them would be something stupid kirby said when first (second) meeting all the brothers

I think raph and kirby would have lots of inside jokes, all of them not making a wick of sense. It would go something like raph nudging kirby and saying “lava lamp..” and then they would burst out laughing

Summary: Hirohiko Academy, a school for those with special gifts. Students who attend specialize in the use of Hamon or have the ability to see and/or use spirits known as Stands. A new girl has arrived by the name of Hamasaki Masumi, who’s been able to see and use a Stand for most of her life. She’s a kind soul who always has a smile and a good word for those who need it, trying to be as good of a friend as she can be! She, like many high schoolers, hopes to someday find love and a relationship with someone who can accept all of her, flaws and all. 

What kind of students will she meet as she makes friends? Who might catch her eye and win her heart? What could she be hiding under that caring smile and happy disposition? It’s all up to you to find out! You could be a potential love interest, a friend along the journey to give advice, or a simple bystander curious as to what may happen; you could even be a mysterious force to help (or complicate-) situations!

((OK so long story short: After that one day where asks came in about Masumi being the lead of an Otome-style dating sim, some people over @ the discord I whipped together for daily/ask/rp blogs and their muns started making lists and talking about how neat it would be.

I have attempted making dating sims before and I just- I don’t wanna ghjk it’s hard

So here’s the next best thing: a mini event exclusive to this blog where the theme is a dating sim with Masumi as our heroine! You can interact with Masumi in a similar way you would with an NPC in a dating simulator! Everything from giving her gifts, asking about her interests, inviting her places, talking to her, and so on! Your muse could become a background character, a best friend to support and cheer her on or come asking for help, or even have them be one of many choices for romance “routes”. Or you could just be an anon and do whatever the fuck ya want within reason-

Even though this is a mini event isolated to this one blog, the usual rules of a normal, multi blog event still apply!
