Been lurking for some time, and my god, I’m now officially a moth man enthusiast, congratulations.

So anyway, I got my own little brainrot/idea about our beloved moth man. Imagine being paralyzed/rly weak from your waist down. Like wheelchair and/or cane has been your best friend for longer than you remember, it’s just part of your life.

Then one day you meet him, the sweetest creature you can imagine. You spend a good while befriending the gentle giant, and during one of your now regular picnic dates, you mention how envious you are of some other people. Sure you have accepted your reality, but you still sometimes wish you could just get up and see the world. You wish you could roam freely without worrying your friends and family by just wanting to go to the markets.

You then notice how saddened Childe seems, chirping sadly and flopping his wings a little. So you quickly start to retract your statement.

”It’s really not that bad, I just wanted to-”

But before you can finish, your friend gathers you gently to his arms. You jump a bit, and cling to his fur collar right away in surprise.

It takes you a while to realize, but you notice soon how close Tartaglia’s face is. You hear his little purs and chirps, and realize how he’s trying to communicate with you.

”Is this okay? Should I put you back down?”

You could swear he’s asking something along those lines. And that’s when you finally understand.

The monsterious but sweet creature that you’ve grown to cherish, wants to help you roam Teyvat without the restrictions that your disability has sadly caused to you.

And for the first time in a forever, you don’t feel like a burden.

it's mostly the speed of which Childe offered to help that brings tears to your eyes- you're majorly self-sufficient, due to not wanting to place pressure on your friends and family as well as being determined to still live life to the fullest, so you're actually quite unused to being offered assistance, especially so quickly and sincerely. but Childe's so earnest and serious in wanting to help you see the world that you find yourself burying your face in his fluff in order to hide your quiet sniffles of happiness- once Childe realizes your cries are anything but unhappy, he's cooing gently and rubbing your back as if to reassure you that he's completely and utterly serious in wanting to take you around the world!!

oh oh oh and if you do happen to be able to walk some, Childe will offer his arm for you to hold!! you get to lean against him, he gets to help and hold you close, it's a win for everyone :D you'll be roaming the countryside, so if you need to sit down, the waving grass will cushion you, and sometimes you'll fall asleep with your head on Childe's lap <33 some days are a bit harder because the pain in your legs will be acting up, but Childe will gladly carry you over mountains and valleys- you're not heavy for him since Foul Legacy is so strong!! and you get to lean your cheek against his, watching him tilt his head towards you and give a happy chirp, one lacking any annoyance or boredom because he's having a wonderful time, too <33

if you two are visiting Snezhnaya just imagine Childe carrying you through a wintery woods as snowflakes drift down and you look up in wonder..... yeah <33

I'm in the middle of making a loboto ask/rp blog. Any advice?

(So I wasn’t sure if I should send privately or not, but I figured it’s good advice/toot for anyone whose thinking of starting an ask blog.  I hope that’s okay ^^;;;)

And YAASS!!!  Spread all that Loboto looove, that’s awesome!! ^0^  Asks blogs are super fun (it’s a great way to stretch your story teller/artist bones!  Also good drawing practice xD)!  But it’s true they can be alot of work sometimes (it’s fun work though) x3  I’ll list some stuff I found (others are welcome to add too!!!)

- So one important note is: Choosing how you want to answer asks!  There’s no right or wrong way to answer questions.  Whether it be an image for everyone or just text, definitely choose one that is fast and easy for you, and won’t stress you out too much.  It’s easy to feel/get overwhelmed (especially if you start getting alot of asks at once) ^^;;  

- Set up a FAQ, Rules, or info sheet if you think you need one.  I don’t have one just cause I dunno, I should actually probably make one pffft… (I’m just bad with words haha) but I’ve seen alot of ask blogs set up a FAQ or Rules Sheet before they answer stuff.  It is helpful!  Especially if you don’t want to/feel comfortable receiving certain asks like NSFW or other triggering topics.  Or if your character lives in a specific AU, it can help set people up a little faster in your version of the world.  If you don’t feel like making a FAQ, a quick blog description helps too!  Ex: “This is an AU ask blog, NSFW asks welcome!”

- When answering asks, a thing I found helpful is:  If your stuck on a question or not sure how to answer, just wait a little bit till it comes to you.  Some answers come to me really quick, but others are a little tricky or they need a story to set up the answer.  You can let the tough one’s simmer for a bit till it comes to you (you can answer the “easy” questions first in the meantime :D)

- If your feeling overwhelmed with asks, I’ve actually seen other mun’s temporarily close there ask box to catch up on asks, then reopen it later on.  If you feel like you need to, do it :3  You should never feel stressed ^w^

- And a note on Loboto himself, he’s a good easy character to write.  He’s one of these characters you can imagine him doing alot of things, and it would just “fit” (if that makes sense?) xD  An example, All Paul the Boy Band, I could believe he absolutely loves them with Morry or absolutely hates them.  Either one fits!  But that’s the beauty of fanfiction in general, it’s what ever you want really xD (unless your going for a “100% canon” kind of blog ^^;;;)

- Also!  A note on character writing and believability!  Loboto kind of has his own unique way of speaking (every character does x3).  It’s fun practice to write something out like they would maybe say it.  An example:

Me: What do you mean it doesn’t work?

Loboto: WHA’DA’YA MEAN IT DOESN’T WORK?!!

Sasha: Why isn’t this damned machine working?!  I programmed it specifically for this reason!

Milla: Oh… I’m sorry darling.  Maybe it’ll work next time?

Another example:

Me: Haha!  That’s a funny joke!

Loboto: Eh hehehehehheheee!!  Hooo, that’s ah’ good one!

Sasha: …… am I supposed to laugh at that?

Milla: Jajaja!  Your so clever honey!

Watching youtube clips of them really helps with writing out dialogue ^w^

- Research!  There was a few times I had to go down the rabbit hole to answer some questions I didn’t know too much about (Ex. dental school and how to become a dentist, real lobotomies, and prosthetics to name a few)  Then again I’m a big research junkie haha (I just naturally like to look up stuff) xDD  You don’t HAVE to go that deep, but sometimes it helps! :D

- And of course, MOST importantly, have fun!! (I know typical answer right?  But it’s true!  Nothing should feel like a chore with this ^w^)  This ask blog has literally been the most fun I’ve ever had in a fandom!  Psychonauts and the people in the fandom have been so inspiring and cool ;w;

I’m probably forgetting a bunch of stuff ^^;;;;  But if anyone wants to add something, please do!  And also, I can’t wait to see your blog! ^o^  Send me a link once it’s up!
