Okay so this is kind of a fun AU I've been thinking of: Sabrina's miraculous imaginary friends.

So way back when Sabrina was still a kid, her mom left (not sure whether to make it death or she left Roger and Roger got custody) and all she has left is her dad who is both a major workaholic and honestly doesn't know how to treat a kid like a kid. She often just gets left with Chloé and Adrien during the day. One day while Chloé and Adrien are distracted with whatever game they're playing that she just doesn't feel up to joining, she explores the Argeste mansion and while wandering into Gabriel's office she sees the (working) peacock miraculous on his desk and, for reasons even she doesn't understand, took it.

It isn't until later that night that she looks at the miraculous closer and accidently activates it and meets Duusu. Sensing the girls loneliness, they teach Sabrina how to use the magic and Sabrina ends up creating monster friends to play with.

Just a cute not so serious AU I was thinking of with a young Sabrina using the peacock miraculous to create a bunch of different monster friends and having adventures with them while trying to hide them from her dad and Gabriel.

Nice but also fear because. Uh. Is the Peacock already broken?

Ok so just expanding on the Streamer Rose AU and making it into a enitre Streamer/YouTuber AU where everyone in the class is part of one or more channels. With the exception of Juleka who I like to imagine just kind of bums around everyone else’s channels rather than actually make one of her own. She’s basically the Stan Lee of their group and fans of multiple channels like to keep track of her appearances.

Rose is the gamer with regular appearances from Juleka who is the unofficial co-host of the channel.

Marinette has a design channel where she regularly shows off her new clothes and designs, often getting her classmates to come in as models. Her most prominent guest is Juleka since she wants to be a model.

Adrien is a V-tuber since he can’t actually show his face and “risk the Argeste brand. ” He has a catboy model as his avatar and he does regular reviews and news for anime. He sometimes has Chloé over as a guest (also with her own digital avatar that’s basically a blonde Weiss) but mostly so she can rant for like a solid hour about whatever ship she’s currently secretly obsessed with. Juleka likes to make spontaneous appearances where she recommends the most traumatic anime she can.

Max has a science channel in the same vein as Muppet Labs. Kim is basically his Igor/Beaker and they commit morally questionable acts of science on the regular. YouTube has tried to take his channel down but the kid built a legit AI on his own so like hell they can’t actually block him. now both Google and the government are terrified of him. Juleka is never actually seen on screen as she’s the camera operator but she often chimes in and lists several ways how each experiment is illegal but also providing convenient loopholes for how to get away with it.

Nathaniel and Mark post animated segements of their recent comics and stories. Juleka provides like half of the voices.

Alix and Kim have a channel where they host their dares and challanges for each other. Juleka isn’t technically part of this channel but she shows up at least once a video in the background just vibing and eating popcorn.

Since I’m just going to assume this world isn’t a miraculous one, Alya, Instead of making the Ladyblog, makes a Late night talkshow like conan where she talks about the current trends. Kitty Section acts as the “Studio Band.”

That’s all I can think of for now. The gamer Rose is obviously the main part but I thought it would be fun to see the rest of the class go online in some way too.

Ok here's the next entry in what I think I'm going to refer to as the "hero's Burden AU." I'm going to try and divide the idea into sections to help me organize my thoughts and help make things easier to digest. But two notes first before I begin: 1) this idea is free for anyone to use if they feel like it. While I like to think I'd be able to sit down and write this fully one day, my life is too chaotic right now to commit to it and I'd like to see what people think about it even if it's little ideas. 2) this is mostly for you cap, feel free to let me know if I'm spamming the inbox too much or like overhearing or something. I don't want to bother anyone becuase I'm rambling or posting where I shouldn't or something. I know you'll probably think it's fine but you know *shrugs* anxiety...

Okay on to the actual topic which is I want to start with the villains and what their motivations are as well as how they'll actually be antagonizing Paris.

To begin here's each members motivations as well as their miraculous match. First is Gabriel who lost Emile to a tragic accident and kind of disillusioned himself with reality in his grief. He's become obsessed with the idea that he can change anything for the better and he turns to the miraculous and the spell book (I'll expand on this further down) to do so. His miraculous is the fox. Part of this is becuase his experience as a designer makes him much more able to create illusions of how he wants reality to look like. This is kind of the other part of his choice in that he kind of looses himself in the falsehood of his vision. He can't accept the loss he's experienced becuase he's GOING TO fix things. Emile is never gone, just out of reach in his mind.

Nathalie shares a motivation with Gabriel but leans more on how focused she is on the discord it's caused in those she cares about. She misses Emile a lot but she's more worried about how far gone Gabriel is and how that's affecting Adrien in the progress. She considers them her family too and she'll to anything to give them back that stability and peace, hence the choice to weild the ladybug. Her fault is that I. Her pursuit is in bringing back the order that existed before rather than adapting to change.

Gorilla gets a lot of back story here. Essentially Gorilla was always known for protecting people. He used to be a decorated officer on the force with a wonderful daughter waiting for him at home. Unfortunately a criminal manages to pin a murder on him and not only gets the Gorilla sent to prison, but his only daughter gets put into the foster system. He spends years inside with only the thought of seeing his daughter again holding him together. Unfortunately even though he gets out a few years early do to good behavior (he became practically mute inside.) he finds out that he can't regain custody of his daughter as she's already been adopted by another family. Eventually he ends up working for the Argestes since they're the only ones willing to look over his record. When they eventually offer him the turtle with the promise that he can both get his daughter and protect everyone he cares about, he joins their cause. He has less fault with his miraculous and it's more about who she's choosing to punish/protect.

Next I'm thinking Ms. Medeleiev (wow that's a tough one to remember the spelling). She gets an expanded back story too in that she's a former renown scientist with a huge focus on the environment. She sees the damage done to the earth and she sees the very real doomsday clock that will happen if things aren't taken seriously. One day she used her research to challange a massive company responsible for a horrific amount of pollution but instead the company somehow managed to forge documents to completely shatter her reputation. Becoming a science teacher was the best she could do after that. The villain team see her as someone willing to do what must be done to "save the world" and so, while she stubbornly hates the fact that magic is somehow real and is desperate to break it down into a science she can understand, she joins them. Her miraculous is the black cat so that she can show the world what kind of destruction is waiting for them if the world doesn't wise up. Her fault is that she used chaos and destruction for fear when, in truth, death and chaos are the tools meant to pave the way for the new.

Now finally it's the Bee which is kind of where I ran out of steam. I've been trying to think of others that i would be willing to turn to the more darkside but still have some shred of morals. Instead I decided to go with someone who could probably follow a more traditional villain mindset and likely serve as a corrupting influence to the villain team since honestly the idea is that these are people who are trying to do good but in like the worst way possible. They kind of need that push to stop them from questioning themselves and keep them on their path. Someone to show that despite redemption and redeeming qualities being very important topics in this potential AU, that some people are honestly genuinely selfish and are likely driven more by fear than any real positive desire. That's why I went with Audrey for the Bee. She's someone that the villains think is easily manipulated but instead is slowly corrupting them. Audrey is driven by a deep fear of time itself. Aging, decay, and loss of legacy are what drive her. She wants a world where beauty is eternal and so is she. That's how her use of the bee is twisted. Freezing everything eternally with no chance for change or growth becuse there's fear that those changes won't be for the better.

Okay this is getting long but we're almost there. The last part is an explanation of how they go about their plans and how they can stay a threat despite having static miraculous. Remember the spell book? That's the key to their plan. The miraculous make them strong but the spell book is what let's them take action. Gabriel in his studying of the spell book has discovered that he can actually cast powerfull spells if he uses pages of the book itself as the power sources since its filled with leftover magic from past guardians. So essentially he figured out what he wants to do, rips a page of the book out and fills it with desired spell and so begins the plan. The heroes, in order to save the day, have to capture the page itself since it needs to be at the center of whatever its doing. Capturing the page and breaking the spell also reverts the world back to the way it was before it was cast. So over time the more pages they use, the less spells they can cast, and the more pages the heroes can collect, and thus the heroes start learning more and more from the information they gather. (also to make sure things aren't too easy for the heroes, the pages loose their magic after the spell so while the heroes learn more about magic and the miraculous from the pages they collect, they can't just turn around and start casting their own spells.)

Okay heres the final part. I want to end this segment with an example of what one of their plans/spells would do. As a spinoff of stormy weather, Ms. Medeleiev would use a spell to cast a super storm in the city as an example of the kind of damage global warming can have on the weather and that that if the world wants to prevent this disaster from happening then the heroes must turn over their miraculous.

Captain Noire busts into the Argeste mansion when she hears that Gabriel has started distancing Adrien from his friends again. Only when she gets inside the only person there is a shocked Nathalie at her computer. The captain catches a glance at the screen and it's an open tab for a Reader/Captain Noire fic. She figures since she already commited breaking and entering, she might as well spend some time with a fan while she waits for Gabriel to get back and kick his ass.

Is she reading or writing the fic? Because honestly this gives plenty of inspiration for the latter!

Cyberpunk Mafia AU character designs (continued) by Ether Solrac:

Since you asked for more Mafia AU stuff here's some more character tech and augmentation I've been able to think up.

*ROSE: She's a bit of a chemical expert sort of like Honey Lemon from Big Hero 6, only instead of the gels and foams she creates, Rose's specialty is in aromas that can actually create specific stimuli in whoever smells/breaths them in. She has a stun gas that paralyzes nerves, a sleep gas, a few varieties of hallucination mixes that vary from fear inducing to just tripping out. She also has her special line of perfumes that she sells to the public to maintain the Garden, including a powerful aphrodisiac mix that she's dubbed "true love's passion" that she only sells to couples she deems to be in true love. It's highly valued since it goes inert after only an hour or two, preventing anyone from recreating it. She also like to prank some people with it whenever she meets a particularly oblivious potential couple. As for herself, she uses special backpack that houses the various chemicals and gauntlets that let her spray whatever combination she desires. She also has a pop-up gasmask to ensure that she never suffers from her own effects.

*NATHALIE: She's equipped with an advanced brain augment that allows her to think and process data at an incredible pace. It doesn't truly make her smarter, but does make her faster. It also serves as her own direct connection to the argeste severs. Her tech allows her to have a neural link with Adrien to always make sure he's safe and is also how she's able to see Lila as a visible data ghost. Unfortunately for her the same tech that grants her the ability to protect and connect to Adrien and Lila, can be a double edged sword since if she's not careful, it can also serve as a link for Gabriel.

*CLARA: she's genetically modified to adapt her look almost instantly. She can change everything from eye, hair, and skin color to hair length and even generate tattoos. These were all augments she's added on to become the perfect actress and advance her carrier. Despite not being much of a fighter, she can essentially be the perfect spy which is good since she has to be extra discreet if she's ever going to get Natalie and her family away from Argeste Industries.

*ANAKRA: Her Peg-Leg is also a machine gun. If you've ever seen Samurai Jack, she basically copied the Scotsman. She also has a modified antique Tommy Gun that shoots lazers. She couldn't decide if she wanted to be like an old-timey Mafia boss or a pirate so she went "fuck it" and became both.

*CALINE: she basically became the shield to Anakras sword. Her specialty is in force fields and hardlight projections. Basically she can either block attacks or create temporary platforms for everyone else. As such she doesn't really fight as much as she just makes sure everyone else can kick as much ass as possible. She does carry around a handmade pirate's cutlass on her belt which she knows how to use, but she mostly carries it around with her becuase it was Anakra's "proposal of love" and shes always had it on hand for years.

*LUKA: Luka is the only Couffaine allowed to drive. PERIOD. As such he can pilot just about everything from hovercars and bikes to straight up jets. He carries around a modified electric guitar that can be reassembled into a lazer rifle in an instant. He doesn't go into the front lines often but he's always the first to pull your ass out of the fire.

*JULEKA: She's basically even more feral and more punk than the other AUs. She has a modified guitar like her brother only her's turns into an energy axe that can chop through just about anything. She's also the one sporting the most armor in the family, including thrusters built into most of the peices so she can charge in headfirst and nearly always get the first hit in. Out of battle she's more chill but given the state of the world she's more protective of the people in her life and has a problem where she's willing to take the hits so they don't have to. ———

I have no idea how to make Juleka any more feral than she already is but I’ll fucking try my hardest.
