I always want to work in a company where I can help others at the same time. This was my first event and I only had 4 days to prepare. Events management is not my forte so a lot of cramming, panic, breakdowns, and overthinking happened before the event. But I’m thankful for the people who helped me pull off this event. We gave Masaya Home an event full of fun and laughter. I got sick for like a week after the event but it was worth it.

✨GROWN WOMAN PROBLEMS✨ The face you make 5 minutes into putting on heels and your ankles have already started giving you the side-eye (ignore the fact that ankles have no eyes🙄). • Last year, I only wore heels to ‘some’ events. Wandering Heart

An ordinary average girl but a great dreamer wanted to reach for the stars to touch people’s lives. Everything was a challenge, from her struggle to wake up every morning despite staying up until dawn up to missing out every special occasions, birthdays, reunions, and vacation getaways. Phone calls and messages had been sometimes ignored but luckily, she just had the most understanding friends ever who never got tired inviting her despite the knowledge of the same answer they always get from her, “I just can’t make it, I’m too busy but I would love to come if I just have enough time.” Years passed by, some of her friends had to end their long-term relationship, some already gave birth, some got married, and some having stable jobs and starting investing for their future. Yet after six years she remained to be finding herself, where she belongs, looking for the right place where she can say the words “This is it, finally!”

She always dreamed of a career that’s not every girl would have dreamed of, dealing with the innermost parts of the human body, determining every minute problem, from the risks of opening one person keeping their hearts beating while finding the solution, putting back every organ and closing, until the time the person wakes up expecting for complications that needs to be troubleshoot, and even years after the person might come back for any unexpected events. It was a real fulfillment for her to at least try what she always dreamed of and never imagined herself doing something else. It’s like an infant wanting a pacifier and wouldn’t stop crying unless it is finally placed in her tongue and that single thing that will keep her satisfied. Deprivation just made her crave for more. Learning to let go for the meantime was the only option she had at the moment, looking for and trying out other options.

A life changing bothersome feeling she had to experience while she was towards finding where she really belongs.  Faith was tested, she had to go through a very long bumpy road, but she must be too lucky enough that everyone was with her from the beginning until the end. She felt everything was not turning into right place, starting to ask questions why she had to experience all these disappointments, challenges, the feeling of emptiness, rejection and failure. Waking up every night, tears just starting to fall from her eyes, the feeling of sadness and the thought of having no reason to even wake up every morning, feeling worthless and rather stay in her bed curling and cuddle with her stuff toy sully, with a lot of things bothering her mind. She had one more issue in her life that she had to resolve, involving a person whom she didn’t expect to come into her life.  She had this belief that she had to at least try for one last time for her to finally say it’s finally over.  When all she always thought before coming back is that there’s a chance for both of them. The person who just helped her decide and made her realize that she should always take the opportunities that other people couldn’t get. She made her think that in choosing what you want is not what will truly make you happy, and that she should do whichever can help her become a better person and at least from there she’ll get the self-fulfillment she’s been wanting. But not all stories will have a happy ending, they just had different plans in life, and she must learn to go ahead with her life without him. It was not easy for her at first but manages to deal with it with full of positivity and patience. She just decided to let go of all her anger and hatred. Now that another chapter had to end, the next chapter continues, still with no reassurance of success she’ll get. She then looked into the things she have and achieved instead of focusing on what she doesn’t have. Whatever it is in store for her, she’s ready to accept it and continue with her life with a set goal in her mind, and that is to keep the faith and let God lead the way.

 There’s this one thing she just realized, she will never grow without experiencing pain, heartaches and failures. Life is all about having faith that everything has been already planned.

 She had lived, loved, hurt, missed, failed, rejected, trusted and made a lot of mistakes in life, but the most important thing is she learned from everything.
