It’s snowing outside and after bundling them up, I took Amber and Rosalyn out to see it. Amber really didn’t like the stuff at all but Rosalyn adores every second of it. She tried to make a snow angel, but it was more of a snow circle then anything. Maybe if she spent a day with @vernarchangel she’d get better at it...

SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE

You’ll need money and people but you’ll also need sunsets and road trips, you will need adventure. All you need is a little laugh, a little cry, a little scream of excitement and most importantly an invitation to believe in better things. What is a life without adventure?

When it comes to an adventure that is outside our Indian consequences like paragliding, scuba diving, river rafting, bungee jumping or a reverse bungee jump .Why is it a long dreamt dream of ours that is never fulfilled? As suggested by a Disney quote “If you can dream do it “Just give a pause to your daily routine and quench your thirst for adventure…The below listed places will help you in your hunt for a better adventure:

 -- Hill stations: - In the GODS OWN COUNTRY (Kerala) with an amazing weather and the greenery. There are many places to visit.Devikulam, Munnar is a small station of 5900ft above the sea level. It has many eye-catching scenarios like Sitadevi Lake, Pallivasal waterfalls & the green tea beach. In Himachal Pradesh, Khajjiar also known as mini Switzerland is a beauteous place with the seasonal change of the scenery. It is perfect for family vacations. The hill station is of 6500ft above the sea level. Kumarakom in Kerala, Jammu & Kashmir’s hill stations, Darjeeling are few more places.

-- Paragliding & skydiving: - Want to fly like a bird and notice the things around in a bird’s view? Nandi hills should be on your priority list. Nandi hills is 180 kms from Bangalore and is the perfect place for paragliding, trekking and more. Rohtang nearby to Kullu valley through National Highway 21, is a cold place with a lake flow and is filled with fog (seasonally) sometimes also touching the clouds. Vagamon, Kerala also offers a very amusing experience. Get ready to fly and set yourself for paragliding.

-- Bungee & Reverse bungee jumping: - Phoenix mall in Bangalore, gives you the most thrilling experience which all the youngsters will love. Places like Rishikesh, Anjuna village, Mysore are also few platforms.

-- Scuba diving: - Scared of heights? Then swim like a fish! In the films like Finding Nemo, Into the Blue, Zindagi Na Milegi Dubara, you can see how beautiful it is beneath the sea. Colourful species of fishes, striking coral reef, flora & fauna. Murudeshwar (Pigeon island) located in Karnataka can be visited which have a visibility area of 15-50km in the season from May-October. The Barefoot scuba at Havelock located in Andaman & Nicobar island is also the best place for a deep dive from the month of March-September with a monsoonal breaks. 

-- Mountaineering, Trekking& climbing: - Like being a monkey? Want to trek, hike and go mountaineering then buckle up yourself with an enthusiastic trip upon the hills, the peak of Himalayas with a stimulating damn cold voyage. Stok range in Ladakh is considered as a practise run for Everest which offers terrain adventure.

    --  Pangong Tso: - Remember the climax scene from 3 IDIOTS where the friends meet Ranchoddas Shamlaldas Chanchad/Phunsukh Wangdu (Aamir khan) after ten years? Or the beginning of Jab Tak Hai Jaan where SRK drives upon a road? These crazy scenes were shot in Pangong Lake, Ladakh. Long drive, camping. Pack your bags go camping. Set your camp, have a campfire, cook the traditional earthen pot way and enjoy the calm surroundings with hot coffee and light-hearted conversation with friends.

·      --  The Living Roots Bridge: - Ever saw a bridge made of roots? Wonder where it is & who made it? This Living Roots Bridge is in Cherrapunjee, Meghalaya. In this northeast state where it rains almost all the time, the nature is so stunning that it can will fill your heart with bliss. Can you climb trees? If not just learn it because if you go to Cherrapunjee, you’ve to climb onto the trees to spectate the aesthetic beauty of nature. The Living Roots Bridge is made by using pliable tree roots and betel tree trunks which were trained to grow up above a small lake. Its life span is up to 500-600 years and it took 15 years for its attachment and it strengthens the trunks and roots of both by itself. The Mawlynnong known as Gods own Garden which is the cleanest place in Asia also stands as an evidence for man and nature in harmony resulting in immense creativity.
