🧘🏽‍♀️YOGA STUDIOS RE-OPEN🧘🏽‍♀️⁣ ⁣ Mixed feelings rush through me when I think of the yoga studios re-opening tomorrow in Düsseldorf & surroundings 🤷🏽‍♀️⁣ ⁣ This means the end of my little home bubble here in Hungary and it is uncertain when I will see my family & friends again here after I return to Germany 🙇🏽‍♀️⁣ ⁣ I will miss my kittens, waking up to bird song, working in the garden and the overall chill vibes of my home town 🐈 ⁣ ⁣ Of course I’m also happy to see my loved ones in Germany, my partner, my team, the beautiful communities of the studios I work with and my silks 🇩🇪 ⁣ ⁣ I often wonder if it is too early to re-open just now. TRAUMA INFORMED YOGA TEACHER TRAINING⁣ ⁣ The 5th day of my trauma informed teacher training has ended. 8 more days to go 😊⁣ ⁣ The course is incredibly healing and emotional. It is very well structured without being restrictive.⁣ Our teachers @geminiadams & @atiratanyoga have amazing, deep knowledge which they are sharing with love and compassion, holding space for our own healing and release to happen in a safe environment 🕉⁣ ⁣ This training is just what I needed, the timing and location is perfect 🏝⁣ Even after less than half through it I feel that I absorbed and learned so much and I will return home as a different person 💗⁣ It is a deep journey inwards, a lot of inner work and release. AROMATIC ANCHORING⁣ ⁣ I had such powerful experience yesterday as I arrived to Thailand, I have to share!⁣ ⁣ Since I read @brecheisen22 ’s book and attended her training, I’m totally into @aromaticanchoring 🤩⁣ ⁣ What is aromatic anchoring❓⁣ ⁣ Our sense of smell is the only one of our five senses, that is directly connected to our limbic brain. The limbic system is responsible for memory, mood and emotions. Due to this direct connection smells can be powerful triggers of memory, mood and emotions👃🧠⁣ An aromatic anchor is like a trigger – we smell something and it triggers an emotional state in us. We unconsciously anchor certain feelings to smells all the time 🤓⁣ We can also create an anchor like this on purpose. We can actually train our brain to behave a certain way using smell as a powerful connection❗️⁣ ⁣ An unconscious anchor switched on full blast yesterday, as I arrived to Koh Phangan 🛬⛴ ⁣ The first sniff from the air resulted in a massive flood of memories and emotions that brought me close to tears 🥺⁣ I had flashbacks from the hospital where I lay with the biggest physical pain in my life caused by Dengue fever. I had visions of me sitting in a wheelchair still feeling super weak when it was time to return home. The feeling of not wanting to return to my old life and office job 😖⁣ Also beautiful feelings of freedom, being happy, empowered and carefree in the sun before I got sick ✨⁣ All this rushed back into me like hot lava and stunned me for minutes 😳⁣ ⁣ So weird, but I really noticed the smell in the air first, the aroma of this place to be exact. Not the sight or anything else. The sight from the plane did not bring on the emotions. The smell did! 😲⁣ ⁣ Now I’m here the first whole day. The air still smells sweet and lovely, but my emotions quieted down.
