Stripper whiskey!

Hi babe! @baronessvonglitter also asked this one, so I'm tagging her as well.

Stripper!Whiskey is going to be a one-shot. Reader is in Vegas for her best friend's bachelorette party - albeit begrudgingly, it's not really Reader's scene. Especially not the male strip shows, but it was on the bride's list of non-negotiables. Reader tags along to the cowboy-themed revue, settling in for a night of cheesy, corny, oiled men gyrating... when onto the stage pops Whiskey, the show's star performer as of late - and it's only then that Reader realizes that it's her childhood crush, "the one that got away", Jack, up there with assless chaps. And Jack hasn't forgotten Reader either.

Headcanons under the cut!

Joel Miller - Joel takes you to a bar. It’s a little divey, but not without its charm. There’s live music and all the furniture is made of rich mahogany that gleams even under the low lighting. Joel looks amazing, foregoing his usual flannel for a black button-down shirt that’s tucked into dark jeans and a brown leather belt. Once you’ve gotten your drinks from the bar he takes you to a round booth and slides in right next to you, slinging his arm over the back of the bench and over your shoulders so that there’s no question to anyone else in the establishment who exactly you came here with (and who you’re leaving with). The table he picked is close to the stage so that every time you want to talk to each other you need to lean in real close just to hear what the other is saying. You think he did that on purpose, and you think you like Joel. scorcher score:🌶️🌶️🌶️

Marcus Pike - Marcus has planned everything ahead of time. He has a reservation for a restaurant he knows you’d love, based on just the few short conversations you’d had previous to setting up this date. After your meal you take a romantic walk along the pier at his suggestion and you wonder why Marcus keeps checking his watch every few minutes until suddenly fireworks start bursting high in the sky above your heads and you realize he wanted to time your walk perfectly so that you wouldn’t miss the scheduled show. He’s literally so adorable you could melt. You pretend to be cold as you watch the colorful display in the sky so that he’ll maybe put his arm around you. He does, but not until after shrugging out of his suit jacket and laying it across your shoulders first. You have a second date on the books before the first one even ends. scorcher score:🌶️

Dave York - You’re certain it’s no coincidence that Dave picked a restaurant that happened to be inside of a fancy hotel. And to his credit, you’re at the concierge desk before dessert has even been served, pawing all over each other while he hands the clerk his AMEX card and reminds them you do not wish to be disturbed this evening.  scorcher score:🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Jack Daniels - Jack takes you to the rodeo. You’ve never been before so it’s actually really fun and exciting as he explains all the events to you and you look around in wonder at everything happening around you. Jack failed to mention, however, that he’s in the fucking rodeo. You don’t mind though because the whole bucking bronco thing? Kinda hot…  Later you make sure to tell him that, and to leave the hat on. scorcher score:🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Max Phillips - Max called it a “date” when he’d invited you. You (and literally everyone else including Webster’s Dictionary) would actually refer to what he’s brought you to as an orgy but… tomato/tomahto.  Max Phillips is an absolute menace, but you knew that already. scorcher score:🚨 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🚨

Javi Gutierrez - He takes you to the movies, of course. You half expect him to have rented out the entire theater for just the two of you, but once the movie starts playing you watch in awe of how into it he gets, eyes lighting up like a kid at Christmas. And it's not just the movie, but the joy he seems to get from sharing the experience with the hundred or so people around you. It’s sweet. He’s sweet.  scorcher score: 🌶️

Frankie Morales - He picks you up from your place and drives for a good hour up the coast line until he stops finally for what he tells you is the absolute best taco truck you’ll ever experience (and turns out, he’s not wrong). After dinner and an ice cream cone from another nearby food truck he holds your shoes (and your hand) as you take a walk down the beach on warm sand while soft summer waves lap at your feet. You absolutely let him get to 3rd base in the cab of his truck before he drops you off. scorcher score:🌶️🌶️🌶️

Javier Peña - It’s not exactly a date, but you do get a text to your phone at 2am. “U up?” scorcher score:🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Maxwell Lord - Maxwell wants to show you off. He takes you to a swanky party that is crawling with Washington’s social elites. Politicians, Diplomats and business men and women make up a majority of the guest list and he’s eager to have you on his arm when he makes introductions. The party is a little stuffy, a little boring, so when the entertainment portion of the evening begins and everyone is distracted, you and Maxwell happily sneak off to the back of the coat check room for your own private party instead. Maxwell turns out to be a little spicier than you originally gave him credit for.  scorcher score:🌶️🌶️🌶️

Oberyn Martell - see “Max Phillips”. scorcher score:🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Marcus Moreno - Marcus takes you to a carnival that happens to be in town for the weekend. You shove cotton candy in each other’s faces like complete dorks in love, share your first kiss at the top of the ferris wheel, walk the fairgrounds eating snow cones, and before the night is over Marcus wins you a teddy bear with a red ribbon around its neck that is literally so huge you can barely get it through your front door later that night when he drops you off.  scorcher score:🌶️🌶️

The Blue House

My first thought was Whiskey, and gut instinct is always right :D

Someone’s bought the pretty blue house that sits right next to yours. The new occupant is a mysterious, reclusive man who almost never leaves the place. By all means, he's never caused trouble. He's got a lovely garden in the backyard where he plants what he eats. He's installed solar panels on the house to be more environmentally conscious. And Betty from the corner store swears his southern accent and charm is to die for!!

But you don't believe it at all. Which reasonable man waltzes around with a rope in his living room at 2AM? And why would he need to burn his shoes in the fireplace? Why drink salad dressing from a whiskey tumbler? Why would he rip up that paper and EAT IT??? Was he twirking?? You can't figure him out! He's up to something and you're gonna out him for the villain he is.

And it doesn't help his case whatsoever that he is your mortal enemy. It was most rude of him to turn his nose up at your burgers at the neighborhood cookout. You even offered him the vegetarian options! But he only walked away looking faintly sick. He was rude, cocky and outrageous.

The Blue House— a retired!Whiskey fic in which he knows his pretty neighbour spies on him and decides to give her a bizarre show everyday, waiting to see what act would finally break her to come talk to him.

📺 Hmmm, I would say Abbott Elementary because I was an elementary school teacher in the past, and I’m still a teacher at heart. Archer because I get myself into ridiculous situations and I love their style, and What We Do In The Shadows because I have an attitude like Nadja and a strong morbid streak.

🐮 You just know Agent Whiskey has pushed over a cow or two trying to impress a woman. Or trying to get the cow to move out of the way and failing miserably.

“Jesus, how old is this thing?” you chuckled as you got in, Jack holding the door for you as you hauled yourself into the Bronco. He laughed with you, pinning you into the truck with his arms either side of the door as you got comfortable and fastened your seatbelt. He gently slapped the body of the truck with his right hand. 

“She’s seen her time, for sure. But I also didn’t lay a finger on her for over two years, and the rust started to set into the old girl,” he said, and there was a flash of an emotion on Jack’s face you didn’t quite recognise. Grief? Regret? 

“Still!” he snapped out the small trance he was heading down into, “She runs just fine, and I won’t see a single complaint from you about that!” he chuckled, pointing one finger at you in jest while he closed the door with his other hand. 

You giggled as you watched Jack walk round the front of his truck, his eyes never leaving yours, his finger still pointed at you. It had been so long since the two of you had been able to slip into such an easy atmosphere that you felt a slight sting in your eyes from tears which threatened to make their escape down your cheeks. 

You’d missed this, just the two of you messing around without a care in the world; before promotions, tense training sessions, and the bitterness which had existed between you both like a sour taste left in your mouth after a meal you didn’t like. It was almost overwhelming how normal it felt to now be able to exist with one another and not be at each other’s throats, or filled to the brim with worry and anxiety about how things were going to go. 

Jack opened his own door and sank comfortably in the driver’s seat, adjusting his position and belting himself in so swiftly that nobody would know he’d had such a prolonged period of time not behind the wheel. He was still chuckling to himself under his breath as he got in next to you, and as he turned to meet your gaze before starting the ignition, you were greeted with a wide smile. Jack’s eyes creased at the corners, and for the first time in a long while you saw his beautiful smile lines creeping back onto his skin. 

It took every ounce of strength to not reach out and caress his hardened skin, to gently touch a face which had been weathered by age and neglect, his own torment ruining any chance he had at being happy so many years ago. Your fingers twitched in your lap, and for a moment more you considered it, until the sound of the engine firing up rippled through your ears and made you jump. Jack must have had his hand on the ignition without you realising it, and as the truck roared to life a short breath jumped out from your lungs. 

“She ain’t that scary, doll,” Jack chuckled, winking at you before turning his head towards the dashboard and disengaging the parking brake. 

“Just made me jump,” you said sheepishly, clearing your throat and looking forward with Jack, attempting to compose yourself. He chuckled under his breath again as he shook his head quietly, before pushing the gas pedal and setting off towards the main road.

**spoiler alerts for this story under the cut**

Part Four of Recall - a (mostly) canon compliant version of Golden Circle wherein some *issues* arise with Jack’s memory recall after using the Alpha-gel - picks up in a very precarious place. Jack is about to catch up with Eggsy and Harry, and Reader just got a bombshell of a message from Ginger and Champ regarding Jack’s wife. A message that she’s going to have to relay to Jack.

A message he is not at all going to like or accept, and one that’s going to put Reader in electric lasso related danger: that his wife, his high school sweetheart, mama to his little boy… never existed at all.

This next part of Recall (titled Just F*cking Perfect) is without a doubt the worst thing I’ll ever do to the YeeHaw man. I’m gonna pad it with some fluffy flashbacks but… 😬
