It's only been a few days when Raf realizes he isn’t the only one fighting to keep his gaze friendly. He’s pulling on a tshirt when Alex trails off mid-sentence. Raf turns to see what’s wrong and finds Alex staring with his mouth hanging open.  “You alright, kid?” He snaps it shut and swallows. Raf tries not to watch the lines of his throat as he does it.

i got a rhaayn fic recommendation that im going to have to finish tomorrow that is really fuckin hot, one of my weaknesses got exploited, i made a darkin oc that has been rattling around in my brain all day with a rhaayn-like dynamic, i got the moves put on me by THREE DIFFERENT ANIME BOYS while i was just trying to do some quests in a game ONE OF WHICH CALLED ME "MY LIEGE" AND WITH HIM IT FUCKING WORKS SOMEHOW (tbf he calls everyone "my liege" but FUCK)

and THEN WE HAVE GRIT.

i fucking LOVE the way that fic turned out holy SHIT where do i even start

the late-night plea for trust? phenomenal. their fight? absolutely fantastic. the pain afterwards? stabbing me in the FUCKING chest i am not STRONG ENOUGH-

the starling was an AMAZING touch and the way sett has to come to terms with emotion because he doesn't know what the hell this weird feeling is is absolutely FANTASTIC i seriously cannot get enough of it

talon coming out as aromantic but still staying because sett is willing to accept him as his just- fucking- AGH no im not relating to talon on a level that's probably not healthy what are you talking about

and the ONE i love you in this fic, but it's not any of the usual high-romance shit, it's i love you done right

Not completely sure? I enjoy internal monologue-type shit, and I was told that I wrote ADHD Jack fairly well? Which I"m honestly very proud of myself for since I do not have ADHD

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I think it's fine as long as it's easily translated or understandable IN THAT MOMENT. I dislike when a fic has an entire conversation in a language and then you only know what is being said in the end notes. I find that really disrupts the flow and breaks my immersion in the story.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

I want to say Tales of Symphonia, but I think it was actually The Legend of Zelda

19. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

My favourite? Oooh that's tough. For smut, I would say Keep Your Hands and 10 and 2 (Red vs Blue). It was really fun to write Chruch trying to keep it together while getting a hand job while driving lmfao.

For not-smut, I would have to go with Threads of Time (Danny Phantom) honestly lmao;;; Listen okay it's time travel i love time travel girl help

20. What fic are you most proud of?

Soul Swap (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). By FAR. I've been working on it for over a year. It's a multi-chapter monster with time travel fix-it elements and better relationships and some Xander redemption along with season 2 Spuffy and I just. I love it. I can't wait to finish it, but only because it'll be one of my biggest accomplishments.

Favorite story you’ve written so far: Ahhhhhhhhhhh, I like so many of my fics for such different reasons!  I love how en l'Année 2014 turned out, I love the story in We’ll Live to Dance Another Day, I love the characters and parallels in As a Hen Gathers Her Brood, I had a ton of fun writing By the Glory of the Sun, and I love the Family Feels in Episode 34: Cooking with Papa and Maybe Christmas Can’t Be Bought in a Store.

Fic you were nervous to post: Definitely en l'Année 2014 because the target audience is very well-educated on the source material and I was really worried about mistranslating the nuance and embarrassing myself. 

How do you choose your titles: When I try to submit and AO3 reminds me that I haven’t chosen one, I usually lay down for 30 to 120 seconds trying to think of an abstract phrase that probably kind of ish sums up the feelings.

Sometimes I luck out, though, and there was a quote while writing that jumped out at me in my research or I can just use a French chapter title from the bricc.

Do you outline: To the point that I am bullied for it. 

Complete: With very rare exceptions that always involve a deadline and a work that has grown So Far Beyond Me, everything I post is always already complete.

In progress: A collab with a fellow creator (almost finished!!) and some rewrites/edits I wanna make to some works that are technically already complete.  Also my winter exchange fic, oh no.

Coming soon/not yet started: I already have a fair amount of the outlining done on it, but I have a Selkie fic that’s on hold, an ECR fic for Cait’s birthday last June, a [redacted] fic for Cat’s birthday last May (2020′s been weird, okay?), a Cursed fic, a Courfius fic, a bodyswap AU, a meet ugly soulmate AU, and a Snow White AU. 

Prompts?: My exchange fic is written to a secret prompt, so I can’t reveal that, but I do have some fics offered for this year’s Bishop Myriel Fundraiser if you wanna donate to a good cause and have a prompt you’d like me to write! I mean of course there’s also a lot of existing WIPs that I’m also working on so...idk when any of these myriad projects will be finished, but...they’re definitely there. oh, hell, definitely there.

…Nah. He’s not the only exceptionally good character after all, Deku, Uraraka and Kirishima are right there with him, and Toshi too! Pure characters are a Thing in bnha, which makes sense since they’re all heroes, it’s their job to be good haha

Either way it’s gonna be fun if and when she’ll learn how to make herself visible!

Nah, there’s lotsa people who don’t expect anything from him, Deku’s friends love him a lot~ but yeah his interactions with Kiri are fun, most times it’s just Kiri getting excited and being overly energetic as usual and Deku going “ye-yeah!” with his uncertain face, it’s??? fun??? Seeing the members of the bakusquad interact on friendly terms with the dekusquad is always fun for me exactly for that, Deku’s friends are all so mild compared to Baku’s, you notice the squad’s energy even more like this haha
